Wagamama in Herefordshire, County of

Love this place honestly gone so many times now and the food is so filling it’s unbelievable! Also the prices are reasonable and very nice and staff are always good in there it’s just very hard to get their attention unless you go up.

We've been to various branches of Wagamamas over the years. Initially the food was bright, fresh and really good. Over the last ?4 years it's moved to the dull and frankly not nice category. We went into the Hereford branch in the week, hope vs experience and all that. The food was a bit slippery, dull, and overall no different to a microwave noodle/ rice dinner from the supermarket. We're calling it a day on Wagamama.

Chose to eat here on a whim (were just originally going to have a snack in town) Food was lovely and the staff were very helpful especially Kirsty. So nice to eat somewhere that took a dairy allergy seriously and not make it out to be an inconvenience. Only 2 small negatives, we found out after we got home that we could have had refills of the green tea. Also the music was really loud which made conversation difficult. That saying we would definately eat here again

Had Pork ramen. Probably the worst ramen I’ve ever had. The broth looked like dirty dishwater. Rest of the food was ok. Starters were good. Avoid the pork ramen!

I’ve been doing a kitchen renovation and currently no kitchen in place. Having takeaway almost every day and Wagamama is the first choice as healthy and tasty food. Been to the restaurant also multiple times. Staff are good and friendly.

Overpriced . Too much uncooked spring onion and little else. Ordered a dish with chicken , which is the cheapest meat in U.K.. Got less than one ounce in my meal. My barely 4 year old grandson, said where is the chicken ?. Confirmed what I was thinking. Many years ago I thought they were good value. , . Not any more. Will avoid in future.

Enjoyed a delicious meal with husband for his birthday. Staff were helpful and friendly. Especially Kirsty who returned my lost gloves to our hotel. Thank you! that is amazing customer service and worthy of 5 stars.

I had the chill ramen steak. Ramen should have a Miso sauce with a distinct Umami flavour not the combination sweet and sour sauce it came in. Reminded me of a sweet and sour tomato style sauce and bright red in colour with a oily texture. Really a poor Ramen and far from it's Japanese roots. I don't think there was any soy sauce in it!

Been twice. A Monday evening with astonishingly fast service and Monday lunch when it took longer to be attended. Lovely selection of dishes for most tastes and dietary needs and ingredients were fresh. Not much waiting time once order placed. They provide a nice (reusable) bowl to take home anything you don't eat so no having to choose between pigging or wastage if you order too much! Downside is the large echoey room which can make conversation a struggle.

I have been to a few of this chain restaurant and this one is my least favourite. The restaurant was smaller than the others I have been to. Staff was ok but not sure why 4 waiters had to serve our order. Food wasent that great didn't really enjoy

I came here after checking all the vegetarian friendly places in Hereford and it seemed like it a gonna be best place to eat- I had vegetarian ramen and sadly it’s the most flat and just nothing special ramen I ever had, very much flavorless. The beetroot juice was more like an apple juice, but oh well. The service tho was great - lovely blond girl was serving me and at least she was the highlight!

We arrived in Hereford having booked a meal in a pub for my daughters 21st birthday. Our 18 year old did not have ID so where told we could only stay for an hour. What to do? We called into Wagamama and explained, that there where 9 of us, could they help?? They where so wonderful. We waited no more than 10 minutes, then sat and had lovely fresh food, lovely table server's, absolutely no rushing us out and ended up having an utterly wonderful evening. Thank you so much all the staff and managers who made it perfect.

Not enough staff in the kitchen had to wait over 1 hour to get any food. Every time I come to this franchise in Cannock it’s the same Birmingham, Solihull excellent service. Shame I have to travel there to go to Wagamama I was told if I had noodles it comes quicker but anything else takes a long time.

We have just had our first wagamama delivered by deliveroo. I have eaten in and love the food but decided to try a delivery. And the food and delivery was way better than I expected. The food arrived hot and as good as eating in and the food was delivered in amazing time. All in all I was so impressed I called the shop to thank them.

We're only in Hereford for 10 days and have eaten here twice already and will probably be back twice more before we leave! Delicious food, very attentive and knowledgeable servers - absolutely nothing to criticise! Even the loos were immaculate! Would recommend unhesitatingly. Bon appetit!

There is a lot to choose from- your dishes will not arrive at the same time - the portions are very generous, the food quality good but it is really quite expensive and the experience just does not match how much you have to pay - just needs to be better. Team all work hard but are restricted by the business model. Will think hard about coming back. £200 for 7 and that was not being frivolous... it was a birthday treat but not convinced will come back.

They were busy but this was no excuse for the food taking an hour to reach us. When it did come it was perfectly acceptable but unfortunately the coffee and hot chocolate we ordered were both stone cold and we could not attract the attention of the staff to have them changed. Surely they would have noticed that the drinks were cold before bringing them! When we mentioned it at the end we were met with silence and indifference, not even an offer of a refund an apology! This ruined an otherwise perfectly acceptable visit to this restaurant but sadly we would not return any time soon.

I'll be upfront; not a fan of generic restaurant chains, however what Wagamama do, they do reasonably well.Hardly the level and authenticity of a Malaysian street market, but they have amalgamated a number of Asian dishes into a reasonable facsimile of the real thing.The bang-bang cauliflower was particularly tasty, the noodle dishes were fine. Overall a decent dining experience. Cost wise they are expensive - nearly five quid for a modest glass of fruit juice is cheeky. Not a fan of their principal of serving each dish as it is cooked - makes for a haphazard service. Talking of service, the staff were friendly and attentive. Don't like the school bench layout though.

The staff were really lovely and helpful. I didn't get their names but the girl, in particular, serving us this evening was great and we had a very pleasant meal. The food was filling and there were a few options for vegetarians.

My sister and I visited here for some lunch and it was very quiet in the restaurant. We ordered some starters to share and they were really nice and the calamari dipping sauce was refreshing. For our mains I ordered a chicken and prawn Pad Thai which I can only describe as average, there were a lot of bean sprouts and the flavour was quite bland. My sister had the Yasai Yaki Soba she said the flavour was good but the noodles were chewy and tasted as if they had been sat out for a while. The food is alright, but for the money you would spend you could go somewhere else in Hereford.

We had visited Hereford to browse around the shops & get some provisions & after doing this we decided to go somewhere different for lunch so we went to Wagamama. The staff there are lovely & very helpful & give advice if required as to what to have to eat there. Being partial to curry I decided on having their Tama squid as a starter, then chose the prawn firecracker as a main. After as short while these arrived & were very tasty indeed & full of flavour. I just about had room for a portion of their yuzu + lemon tart which was delicious, after which I sat a while then paid the very reasonable bill & left.

Our first visit to Wagamama’s, very impressed with the food, we like Korean food but Japanese is new to us and we really enjoyed. The waitress said that our food would come out as and when as it’s cooked fresh so could guarantee that they would come out at the same time which was fine, they came out within 5 minutes of each other and we were both pleased with our meals, I had the teriyaki donburi with beef brisket which was so full of flavour and my boyfriend had the Chilli Ramen, deserts were great too, We had the banana katsu and chocolate layer cake, we also had the jasmine flowering tea, which was beautiful to watch and also tastes similar to roibos. Thanks to the girls who served us!

The food is great, that's for sure. But I would say for the portion sizes the prices can be quite high.

Came in with friends for some lunch. Got to be the best wagamamas I’ve had. Really fresh, warm food and great service. I usually order the same thing every time (chicken katsu curry) but pushed myself with the chicken and prawn pad thai and it was delicious. Very delicate flavours and extremely filling! My friends enjoyed their food too and the atmosphere was great. Would definitely visit again. Highly recommend any of the steamed buns. Delicious!

My friends and I came here for something different, and that we got! There was a huge variety, albeit also a confusing one. I ordered a duck donburi which was delicious and a katzu chicken curry the second time, although I can imagine that lots of people would struggle to find something to eat here so definitely look at the menu before you come (as you may have to google some things!). The staff were really friendly and the service was fast too, the food was good quality and overall the only complaint I have is that I didn’t get a knife with my katzu curry so it was difficult and messy to eat!

My partner and I visited Wagamama in Hereford and enjoyed a delicious meal and outstanding service from Matt and Kat. They were friendly, efficient and we left with smiles on our faces. Highly recommend this establishment. 5 star service.

If you like Japanese food then you will like this place, it is a lovely spacious restaurant & the staff are very friendly. It is great to see your food being prepared for you & all can be purchased for a very reasonable price.
