The best restaurants serving Seafood food in West Midlands

Very disappointed, sorry was expecting more. Ordered by app and delivered extra quick! BUT batter on fish very wet hardly cooked. Chips looked and tasted like left over from day before. Fortunately my granddaughter had a pie so couldn’t go wrong with that! Was expensive for what we had.

Food was very good we enjoyed it, it wasn’t to far from where we were staying staff were very friendly and happy to talk to you😁

Elegant and simple cooking by a very experienced chef. Excellent fresh local fish -and BYO is a great incentive to return often.

Went there due to. reviews. Disappointed. Chips needed longer but were at least edible. Fish was nothing special and not a fan of the batter. Perhaps visited at wrong time?

Just the best fish, chips and curry sauce with a couple of faggots :) A little gem opposite the Barrels! Don’t be late. When it’s gone, closes at 9 ish :) You can also eat them in the outside area of the Barrels so, perfect combo with great beers!! Yummy !!!

The guys working at the Market Plaice are absolutely fantastic, we took a group of young people on a Halloween walk through Bromsgrove and decided to go for a bite to eat at Market Plaice, The guys provided all of our young people with cakes sweets and everything they had to celebrate with us, we had fish chips and sausage's which was absolutely delicious, thank you for making our Halloween walk extra special :) you guys are amazing, keep doing what your doing, you really showed us great community spirit throughout. we will definitely be back soon.

The food here is great! Would definitely recommend and staff are lovely. I had a chicken burger and a smash burger and it was so delicious and I will definitely be going back next weekend for my takeaway of choice!!!

Miserable staff the older woman is nasty and is always miserable every time in- also seen them laughing at disabled people

We have used this Chinese Takeaway many times and are never disappointed. The food is of excellent quality, and the service is second to none. Telephone orders are recommended as they can get busy at peak times. They no not offer a delivery service but there is plenty of free parking right in front of the shop, and your order is always ready when they say it will be.

Walked to the Fish Bar whilst looking after our grandson in Streetly, it was a bitterly cold day and we wanted something hot for lunch. My husband ordered a large cod and chips for us to share and it was freshly cooked the staff couldn't have been nicer, my husband overheard one customer asked which curry sauce he wanted, my husband heard the member of staff say Irish curry sauce, when the customer left he asked the member of staff what Irish curry sauce was and he said it was a bit sweeter with an after kick. We got the fish and chips and as it was so cold we ate it in the shop it was gorgeous the member of staff gave us a pot of the Irish curry sauce which was fantastic. Had the sharing platter and it was Devine, very generous portions for three of us! The service was ok. And we watched the food being prepared in front of us.

Had a delicious haddock and chips from Fairfield’s Evesham tonight. It was so delicious. Freshly cooked fish, light batter and nice chips. We bought extra as it was a family takeaway meal and I went back for seconds, which I never normally do. I devoured it all too quickly to take a photo for this review. Maybe next time!!
