Had the sharing platter and it was Devine, very generous portions for three of us! The service was ok. And we watched the food being prepared in front of us.

Both travelled for two hours to meet up for lunch after checking website for opening times on Facebook and website only to find the restaurant was shut and a very rude man told us we should have phoned as sometimes the chef doesn’t turn up! We were gutted by his don’t give a dam attitude and the fact we had made a very long journey to go - we won’t be back, we will tell all our friends not to go and if anyone reading this decides to go make sure you have your big girls pants on to cope with mr angry! Highly recommend Darwin’s Kitchen instead!

I cannot fault the quality of the food here, as I have been several times, and it is often busy. I just felt today that there were too much seating to cope with preparing food in the small cooking area. To re-iterate, my fish of the day was delightful, but I had to wait 43 minutes from ordering to my food being served. I will probably avoid Saturdays in future.

Ive been here numerous times over the last 3 years for lunch as we love fish and seafood and a glass of faine waine! Cant fault the menu options, food presentation & cooking, customer service or value for money! Infinitely better than a town centre chain restaurant, easy, informal, fast, friendly and fun. The staff of young servers are great! They make the place.

Highly Recommend this Seafood Bar for Fish lovers ! Tucked away in Shrewsbury Market Hall, Fish fresh from across the aisle at the Fishmongers, all fresh, NOTHING a problem and everything tasted great ! Only problem we could see, if it was busy, book a table, you would have to go for a walk around the market as too good to miss ! The SeaBass with it's Crispy skin and juicy flesh, could eat it again and will do soon, loved it .Thankyou....

Especially at the start of the day when the stall is resplendent with a beautiful array of fish of the highest quality. The owner knows everything about them - often even the name of the boat they were fished from.

A wonderful place in Shrewsbury Market Hall, where you can see the fresh fish going into the food being cooked. The staff are happy and work together professionally. I walked into the Market Hall today feeling down with the weather, and the world in general. My Bouillabaisse was to die for, washed down with a glass of wine. I left feeling refreshed and happy after this superb meal!

Went earlier in the year. This was a very interesting lunch and the food was excellent. Very fresh fish. We journeyed from Birmingham and our friends from Runcorn. We wanted somewhere to eat and this sufficed. Later we tried a pub nearby.

Just turned up for lunch on a Friday and got one of the tables with high stools. Be careful as there are not many tables and I guess if you go on a Saturday it would be advisable to book. They had run out of a couple of things so my husband had to change his order a couple of times! He eventually chose crab cakes which he said were to die for! I had the Chilli prawns which were delicious! Great little treasure to find!

Bouillabaisse what more can I say I have never had better! I could have coped with a touch more rouille but I didn't ask so I didn't get, obviously. This is the first time I've had a Bouillabaisse anywhere that didn't overpower the fish, which spoke for itself. I am not suggesting for one second that this was bland but rather perfectly balanced and I've been craving it ever since, I was also cuffed to find there was John Dory in the stew as it is the seafood bars namesake all washed down with a rather delightful Pouilly-Fumé 2013 non the less. My partner had Tiger Prawns cooked Garlic and Chilli which were also delightful. Absolute little gem. 12 Seater market stall in all reality but how wonderful. This place transports you to the south of France or the coast of Spain if I lived closer I'd visit each week. The fish comes directly from the stall where it is sold fresh and is cooked to perfection. Fish Fan? Visit Here as soon as you can, You won't regret it! Not a seafood fan? Steer well clear they do nothing else!

We hadn't booked a table, and turned up to a full house, as there are only about 3 tables. Bring a coat, as it got a little chilly in the open market hall. It was great to see the fresh produce on the fishmonger counter; that goes straight to the plate. Service was good and we didn't wait too long.

We took relatives who live locally but, had no idea Saint Pierre existed. The food and wine was of a standard that few well known restaurants could match, excellent service and we are already planning return visit. A must visit venue for any seafood lover.

http://www.barkworths.co.uk/bar This will be difficult for me as I want to keep this to myself. The St Pierre seafood bar is simply divine. It is tucked away in the market hall Shrewsbury. It has two tables and a breakfast bar so is wonderfully tiny and simple do not expect a big restaurant more a continental feel of a stall with a few places to dine..On my last visit I had Cullen skink and a glass of Chardonnay on a previous visit went off piste pointed at the scallops in the wonderful selection of seafood for sale at the classy seafood stall and said would you cook them for me,the answer was yes how would you like them.Lunchtimes only are on offer but night time has been taken care of by the Pukka Wines seafood bar focus of my next review.

My daughter and I had a fantastic lunch at the seafood bar last week. Both of us had the Cornish Crab platter which was out of this world. We also enjoyed a nice chilled glass of Chablis. Atmosphere was brilliant, great service too. Will be returning with friends soon.

Lovely quirky decor. Great atmosphere. Superb cocktails. The manger was very friendly and couldn't do enough for us even though we were just having drinks. She went above and beyond to meet our needs

Great fish and chips place with reasonable prices but excellently cooked large fish portions. The chips we always go for the small option as there's plenty for two. Highly recommended!
