Asked for 2 saveloy, 1 battered sausage and a bag of chips. Soooo expensive £2.60 per sausage and £3 for a bag of chips, which was the size of a small cone of chips. Total rip off for the portion sizes. Saveloys really dry/hard too. Very 😞 disappointing

Service is good but the chips and kebab were dripping in oil. This has happened a few times now but this time the oil even leaked out of the bag and onto my car seat. Time to find a new chippy!

Just had a bag of chips from here they have got 2 be the worst bag of chip ever warmed up from dinner time . Wot be going there again over £3 a bag just 2 put them in the bin

had a scallop from here and i have had crisps that were thicker,and the batter was dripping in cooking oil,not the best of chip shops

The kebabs here are top notch especially the home made chilli sauce which so much better than the generic squeezy bottle stuff.

£10.70 for this, i also had a large curry sauce. The ends of the fish were crispy the rest of the batter was soggy. I only had a 2 min journey to my house so it wasn't wrapped up for long. Will never go again, ridiculously over priced.

I had a fish and chips for the first time here, I must say it was one of the best fish I have eaten! The battery was lovely and crispy( not soggy!) And the size was quite decent. The chips were nice. I would definitely go back when in the area!

Popped in for a quick lunch today sausage chips and curry sauce tasted great, excellent service and ONLY 4 quid! Absolute bargin hope I'm in the area again soon

Excellent tasty food and cheery staff who remember you even after a year! (I have moved away from the area but was welcomed like a long lost brother!) Staff there wlll know me as the little guy who has roe and chips special without peas.

We are regulars at the chipshop, always remember orders, very welcoming and food is amazing. Chilli sauce is hot and spicy so good on the doner kebab. Always go out there way. Would definately recommend.

Food- typical Chippy, but they take great care to do things as you want them. For example, I like the kebab meat thinly sliced and crispy... so that's how they make it. The fish is light, the chips are perfect. On this visit, we both had kebab meat and chips, with salad. Ample portions, and the meat was just as we liked it. The lads there are so friendly, they have great banter, they remember customers and welcome them. They also always give my assistance dog a treat. Parking is tight, but there are a few places. We pass three other chippies to go to this one. One of the things I really like is that they don't have the kebabs with the chili in it.

The owner came and took my order and gave me water after I passed out outside the shop. Chicken meat and chips were great as well.

Thought I would put pen to paper as they say, and report that this is a good chippie to go to. friendly and great staff always have a smile on their face and aim to please. Well done all. regards Raj

I know it is a chip shop but it is literally dripping from them which made the food very soggy. A good range on the menu and the waiting time is good because it never seems to be busy which may have to do with the difficulty in parking.

Great chippy with friendly staff . Few chippys in the area but for me this is the best one. Never had bad food from here.

This fish n chip shop is local to where I live, I am always very wary of using it. Both from previous experiences of myself and friends experiences . I just fancied Cod and chips for tea, but unfortunately I don’t think that was what I paid for. The chips are nearly always undercooked and greasy, but I usually pop them in the oven when I get home for a few minutes to crispen them up and to dry them off. On this occasion it was the same. The Cod looked ok I thought, so I left it wrapped up in the top oven just keeping warm for a few minutes. I quickly did myself some mushy peas and served my dinner up. I sat down to enjoy. The chips were ok, hot after coming out of the oven, and now dryer from the grease. But when I cut into the Cod, what a flipping dissappointment. No way was this Cod. Dark, small flakes and quite strong tasting. It seemed mushed together in the batter. As if it wasn’t fresh. Every time I visit this place I tell myself it’s the last time. 3 times now I have bought absolutely terrible Fish n Chips from this place. And I know what yr gonna say...why didn’t I take it back?? Purely because I couldn’t be bothered. I was hungry, tired and just wanted my tea. This definitely is the last time I will be buying from this place. I am convinced they don’t use Cod, as advertised, or even use fresh fish. I think they are using a cheaper fish( Pollock) but charging Cod prices. What a rip off!!

The take away shop has a very friendly atmosphere. I like the haddock and there is a range of crisp and fatty chips. Although it's a bit expensive, it is a very good chip shop.

Soggy tasteless fish with soggy batter chips soggy greasy and tasteless threw in the bin. Will never go there again

Been using Kent road chippy for many years now as it's just up the road from where I live. Staff always welcoming. Fish always seems fresh with decent batter and the Donor kebabs with their own hot chilli sauce are brilliant.

Great fish and chip shop. Nice family run business and it shows. Good service and staff always have a chat and acknowledge its regulars. Really busy most nights, which is a good sign. Parking can be a bit tight on Friday nights but its worth the wait. Food cooked fresh and to order if required.

Tenemos unas cuantas tiendas chip están a diez minutos en coche de nuestra casa. Bar pescado kent road cambió de manos hace algunos años y desde entonces ha sido nuestra elección de chips. Aproximadamente una vez al mes, no lo quieres hacer un chips, nunca tuvimos nada malo.

Mi chips local y no ha sido decepcionante hasta la fecha. Gran sabor, el amable personal siempre la visita una experiencia agradable!

This place is good, chips are hot clean oil obviously used and decent potatoes. Fish is also of good quality along with all other stuff sold. Warning if you go in more than once they try to get to know you and are pretty decent funny guys.

There are times late in the evening when you'll eat practically anything served up to you, but what I got here late on a Friday night was absolutely wonderful. I've never had a better piece of fried fish. It was beautifully tasty, smoothly textured, and the portion seemed to get bigger the more I ate -- just as well, as my wife couldn't resist pinching some of it when I got it home! The chips were excellent too. Clean, tidy premises and smiling, courteous service. I've always used the chippy at the bottom of my road, but am going to have to think again...

Great family run place. Been going there for years and always great food. Always a queue of local people which is a great sign. The two brothers are really friendly and will talk forever if allowed

I have visited this fish and chip shop on several occasions and have always been impressed with the food and the service.It is also one of the cleanest fish and chip shops I have ever visited.A good selection of take away meals with the special menu offering great value (Avaible lunch time I think).The chips are always golden and tasty the fish and battered sausages are top quality.Well worth a visit you wont be disappointed

Been coming for chips here since school and still now will drive the 10mins out the way (past 3 other chippys) to pick up dinner from here :-) friendly staff who always make me feel like they remember and are welcoming :-)

Open on a Sunday and does the best chips at about 17:30 on Sunday. Fish is always large and tasty.Generous portions and friendly chaps.

Very friendly staff always happy to help and engaging especially with the younger members of the family (who always get a free lolly). The food I'd always tasty and you can tell they take great pride in their service.

I have been going here pretty regularly for the last 2 years, the staff have always been great and welcoming. The food is good with generous portions at a good price! The service is always very quick apart from when it gets really busy!

Ordered chicken burger was served couldn't heated and tasted awfully. Also portion of chips are very small and little choice to order very average over priced chippy

Using them for 20years,never had a complaint. The family business is always friendly ,oblidging , nothing any trouble. Can honestly say would not buy from anywhere else in this area. Must add Husband does not normally eat fish but he will from here.

Quite simply the best fish and chips anywhere. We usualy stop there on the way back from football. Whether fish and chips or Kebab it is always freshly cooked and tastes great. You won't believe the size of there Mini fish and chips with peas or curry sauce for £2.90 - unbelievable. Also the staff are.always polite and friendly.

Nice, friendly staff, great food. Will definitely eat from here again. We had fish and chips and kebab meat and chips along with a sausage for the dog. The food was great, fresh and tasty, not too greasy and a perfect portion size.
