Blackwood Takeaway in Walsall

I am gluten intolerant, I really fancied fish and chips. I’ve been into the shop a few times, so I know I’m good with the chicken kebab. When I saw they were on just eat I thought great I’ll peruse the menu 😆 I saw steamed cod, I was so exited!! My excitement was not in vain!! The meal was exceptional, cooked to perfection . It was delicious…….. I am so happy 😁 thank you, thank you, thank you ♥️

Got my chippies from here yesterday. Portion size was massive and price was more than reasonable! £3 for a good size portion of chips. They don’t do the battered chips, but we did enjoy the traditional ones. Kids had the sausages and fish cake and we ordered curry sauce. It was a bit darker in colour from what we are used to and was slightly spicy but we didn’t mind as was still yummy. The older gentleman behind the counter was so nice too-I believe he was the owner. Very chatty and made it a lovely experience. I parked in the Lidl for free parking as it does not have car park of its own. So, Ablewell is our new chippy 🙂 It has 5* hygiene rating, gaffer is really nice and friendly, chips cost half the price of the other gross local chip shops by me and these taste nice too 😬

Don't go there often but last time I went there had fantastic pizza

Clanger used to be my go to chippy used to have them all the while good food fast delivery but haven't used them in a while until today. Ordered mix meat in a naan, after waiting 1 hour for delivery I rang the shop to be told there's been a delay we haven't done it yet! 30 minutes later it arrived cold and not the large kebab like they used to be, don't know if they've changed hands recently because the portions of meat weren't upto their normal standards and delivery was appalling! Very disappointing and sadly wont be using them again!
