The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Don’t go there, we have been several times and the quality of food was always good, but last night the food was cold, poor quality. First thing we brought was a bottle of wine that was off, second bottle was cheapest of wines which was just as bad. The duck was cold and tough, the bang bang chicken was also cold, the dumplings were the worst I’ve ever had. Rice was also only Luke warm, vegetable chow mien was not good either. We won’t be going back. It was very pricey for the very poor food.

Absolutely beautiful Cantonese food in a charming neighborhood restaurant that was buzzing and full on a Friday evening. Generous portions, hot food and smiley service. Can’t ask for more! (Tricky parking, though)

When here for my mums birthday as her favourite food is Chinese 100% recommend. We have dined here many times food is always fresh and perfectly cooked staff are always friendly and attentive.

Top restaurant lovely decor, great value for money, still the nuts after all this time. Love the refurbishment. Just had a family dinner still the best in the area. Just had a lovely meal better than ever

Very disappointed, food is usually really good. However, this time everything was, just not nice. Chicken chow mein tasteless and watery. Sweet and sour ribs far too sweet and dry. Crispy beef far too sweet. Crispy seaweed again, far too sweet and covered with sugar. Imperial must have shares in Tate and Lyle. Won't be ordering again.

Travelled here on the bus specially for this Chinese as Google said it was open. Nope shut until April 2025. Only found out with note on the window. So lazy why not update your Google listing. Don't worry....I have done it for you so other potential customers don't waste their time.

Good to start with fresh tasty good service etc then once then once clientele gained maybe for repeat customers but stale reheated it’s just sad won’t be revisiting also told my friends not to go there as I initially told everyone They had same experience Sad

I have just thrown most of my food away tonight. I ordered and double, double check the order. We wanted various vegan dishes which I was assured I would get........wrong. Vegan dishes arrived with egg in!!!!! Plain noodles arrived spiced up????? Vegetable curry just tasted ...... Strange Plus.....part of my order was missing!!!! Not great. I used to love food from this restaurant but it will be a long time before I order again

Service was very average. Kept forgetting things. Food was average at best...oily, ready made saucy. Really lovely people but the new lady was inexperienced. Namrata was such a good waitress, made all the good taste even better. She is attentive, patient and very served with a big smile.

food was fantastic, it was better than what we thought, especially the salt pepper crispy chicken, its gorgeous. The young guy who take orders is a nice boy.

The venue was closed at 17.15 when i visit today unfortunately. Google needs to be updated and so does the TCB website. I called and the number doesn’t work 😐 I was really looking forward to this but never mind.
