The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

If you like a good curry, stay clear of this place,....absolutely disgusting, gravy like water. curry is so thick and sloppy its doesn't even resemble curry, chicken is rubbery. chips were far too over cooked and so dry, fried rice again, over done and stuck in one lump. Lady was nice enough over the phone but clearly never listened to a word I said during my ordering because what did arrive was wrong, waste of £25 its all went straight in the bin....total let done

Midweek lunch time so not busy, but service was good and food fantastic!

I used to go to the dragon house regularly 15 odd years ago, circumstances changed and I hadn't been in over a decade. Decided to pop in for a quick and easy lunch. Really tasty food, good selection, and very reasonable price. Had chips rice and sauce. Enough to be really filling and less than £5.

So frustrating is probably the best way to describe water margin these days. The food is always incredible, there is not many places that cook Chinese food better. I cannot complain about it at all when it comes to the food. I had the crispy shredded beef, my partner had the war bar and my grandparents had the curry and chow mein. Really lovely food. The service however is just terrible and so disappointing. This restaurant when it was run by the family and the owners son/daughters the service was brilliant. Now it's just full of kids who make mistakes and just are not attentive to customers needs. There was only 2 tables in and the service is poor. So poor. It's not the first time either. The last time we went I thought I'd give benefit of the doubt but this time it was worse. Please, please, please train these girls on what service you used to pride yourself on. The food is brilliant but if you don't get the service right people will stop coming. My bill was incorrect, the food ordered was wrong but luckily we just accepted it. The service was so slow. Please get this right because I'm not so sure we will come again if it's like it was.

Don’t let any negative reviews sway or influence your decision to go to or use Alan’s restaurant and takeaway. The food is excellent. If you have lived in average market towns in central England over the last 25 year or so years and tried to find a good Chinese takeaway you will know exactly what I am talking about. We ordered a range of dishes and they were fresh, light, well cooked, with lovely flavours. You would have to go a long way to find better.

We found this take away as I am not a big fan of chips in blackpool. Service was good, food was fantastic.

All i can say is food must be Microwaved. We ordered at 17:10.. paid £55 for crispy shredded beef , chicken chow mein,salt and chilli.chicken ..chips and half of duck ..we was told it would.be 1 hour ! 20 minutes later ot arrived ( we live around 4 miles away. All food was cold.. parts where warm but other parts cold! We wasted the whole lot . I did try calling the store but the owner wasn't interested. Usually I go spice of canton but they do.cash on delivery and I didn't have cash in house . The picture added is the whole food order chucked away into.1 bag..(£55 worth :-(

Food is good delivery time is not the fastest but food still hot when arrive

I was an early bird in fairness. Food was okay, but quite bland. Nobody else in there at 5pm'ish, & I was gone by 6pm. No coffee, so made do with a can of coke. Would I bother again ? Only for convenience. Not for any other aspect.

The staff at perl has no costomer service and they don't know how to speak to costomer. On that note I will never spend my money there again.
