It is a shame that restaurants do not take into account count loyalty of customers. Just got back from a long journey and booked a meal for delivery. We ordered three meals but it did not come to the minimum of £28 as we are just outside three miles. We have ordered from here countless times so I asked if they would be able to deliver with the order of £22. The answer was no. As we had to spend £28. So we did not order. I do think it is a shame that a restaurant you have supported and ordered for. For years does not recognise loyalty. The lady said I have not taken an order for. You before. If she had looked at the order history she would have seen we have ordered countless times. It is a shame when money forces people to ignore loyalty. Really disappointed.

Great local takeaway, we come here regularly for take out, delivery is available and arrives when they say.

I bought two fried rice meals which were very disappointing. Both were like eating rice pudding the consistency was awful. Never had this at any Chinese take away before. John Patrick

Delivered to a narrowboat. Phoned to ask for delivery and the guy was very helpful. Phoned back with order which was read back to me. Delivered within the time that was given. Delivery lady was very nice. Food was delicious and enjoyed by all. Thank you for your good service.

Excellent takeaway in Welsh Row. Convenient parking behind, Cheshire Cat nearby if you want to have a drink while waiting. Although our food came to quickly for that, maybe next time ask them to hold the order for 30 minutes

To be honest. I’ve been going here for over 10 years. Tonight’s foods wasn’t great, the rice was dry, the salt n peeper Chicken was chew and although hot wasn’t very salty, and the sweat n sour pork we had was just ok. However, what spoilt my experience was the server on collection. Who was extremely miserable, rude and felt like she didn’t want to be there and as front of house needs a little or a lot of training. She had her son with her who was no more than 5 years old who gave me the prawn crackers we had ordered and paid for but I was don’t they aren’t on my my order. I asked why and I was told I needed to spend more. I asked why because I had actually paid for my prawn crackers and she said because these are for people who spend more. I was confused because there was only 2 of us and I spent quite abit for 2 and she said it fit people who spend over £50. I’m still confused as I paid for them. Think I’ll Try another Chinese next time in Nantwich. Very disappointing tonight. Has the owners changed or chefs as it was the worse I’ve had

We ordered a take away and when I got home (15 minutes drive), I discovered that the chicken balls were missing which were to be for my children. We phoned up and were told that no drivers were coming our way so they would refund them. We hadn't ordered much (just enough to go around) so this meant we had to make the rest go around us all. When we said we were not happy with this as a solution as we didn't have enough food to go around, they did not offer another solution. I suggested they made the order again and I'd come back out and collect it a second time - they refused and said they couldn't do that as we had the food so, again, I offered to return it when re-collecting the order. Again they refused to remedy the mistake with what I considered a reasonable solution so that we could all eat and enjoy our meal. I suggested another option that they refunded the meal and I would get a complete order from elsewhere - again they refused. By the time I had finished on the call, having not found a solution I was happy with as they would only refund the chicken balls, we then ate a cold Chinese which we had to supplement with food out of the cupboard. We were also told we were being rude which we absolutely were not being - we just couldn't understand why they didn't realise the problem. We were extremely disappointed to have wasted our money on what was supposed to be a family treat! I will never order from Sun Sings again.

I have been going to this Chinese for several years and I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal. It's strange to see such shocking reviews about the staff because they have always been super friendly and helpful everytime I go in (that's quite a lot) the only downside is it has to be over a certain amount to be delivered and I only ever order for myself so it doesn't meet the required delivery. Luckily it's worth the drive! Won't go anywhere else.

Been using this Chinese for 25 years. It's under recent new ownership I think. Was treated appallingly on New Year's Eve which unfortunately left my family with no food. The phones were not working properly (again) and everything was being diverted to a guy on a mobile. You could not get through. Drove down on spec and was refused what was called a 'walk in' order. I rang their phone again in the shop on speaker - could not get through. Greeted with a sour face and not even a 'sorry'. The shop failed to advise customers by notice that they were not taking walk in orders on new year until much later in the evening and only telephone orders. Was also stonewalled with a 'WERE BUSY'. All of you cast your mind back to when these establishments were crying out for tax payer money during covid because they were losing money. Remember that next time anything untoward happens again. I will never give my custom to these people again. Appalling customer service, lack of appreciation. They may well be sitting pretty when the drunks are rolling in later but remember your loyal customers who will be ditching you and advising their friends to do the same.Word gets around in small places like nantwich already someone has recommended Chopstix up the road.

This is by far my favourite Chinese however the staff and service of this place is really going downhill, I ordered for my sister this evening as a favour as she was working, said the name was Emily she then went in too collect her order then was told there was no order for her and she needed to order again.! For some reason the order was in the name Tracy( my name is not tracy) and this was only resolved when I rang to say the issue. The meal was finally brought out for my sister to be then told by the lady who works there (who may I add is always miserable) it wasnt her order even though the man had just read the order out to her. When I phoned to say that I wasn’t really happy with the service my sister had received this will be because she looks young the lady was very rude to me and suggested my sister was lying and there was never a problem in the first place, even though I had spoke to the man and resolved the first issue with the name! Disappointing!!!

Traditional takeaway with friendly staff, fast preparation & generous portions. Not a lot of room inside for waiting customers though so if it's raining it might be an idea to pre-order.

The service for a takeaway was absolutely rubbish. Came at the time we were told to and it took ages. Family & friends sat at home waiting for their tea.

We have been going here for many years. Tonight we ordered as usual and went to collect. My husband was made to feel very awkward when staff claimed we had not ordered. After a member of staff eventually remembered taking the order, they rudely suggested he order again. No apology at all, and no manners. The staff were incredibly rude. Needless to say we left without ordering again. We ended up going to another Chinese in town and actually had a much better meal. We won't be coming again.

Utter rubbish. If you like huge, overwhelming pieces of stringy meat then this is the place to go. Tasted horrible.

This is our favourite Chinese restaurant, it's ruined all others for us. The ribs are so fresh and fall off the bone, not chewy old meat. Really tasty fresh food. The special fried rice comes with giant king prawns in it and huge pieces of meat. We order regularly and have never been disappointed. We have the bbq ribs , salt and pepper ribs , curry sauce and special fried rice . We've had the duck and Singapore vermicelli too. All delicious and the people are so friendly

Very poor effort all round ribs tasted like old boots no taste whatsover,the main meals were like a starter portion no content to meal to speak of but I would definitely not eat there again,very poor quality compared to Chinese food we have eaten in the past.

After 12 months of poor Chinese takeaways, we have finally found a takeaway that ticks all the boxes. Good service, friendly delivery and excellent gfood. We are so happy we got that leaflet through the letterbox. Wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Best Chinese takeaway in Nantwich

Booked early for a delivery in just over an hour. Delivery was late and when I rang to ask the reason why I was told sometimes they are late and sometimes they are early. No reason at all given. When I explained I paid the delivery charge and asked again the reason it was late I was hung up on. The Lady on the phone was abrupt and a little rude and obviously not happy with my questions. The special fried rice was ok but not great. The salt and pepper chicken tasted like it had been dipped in a vat of salt so went straight in the bin. The duck was edible but that’s about all, the beef curry was well below what you would expect from a Chinese restaurant. Would not recommend it based on the meal I had tonight. I rang to inform them about the saltiness and I was told I asked for it with extra chilli (which I did) and they had put more seasoning on it. I was also told I was making it up as it was late and have now been told as I complained I will now be out on a black list. Definitely would steer clear of this restaurant as if you complain you go in a black list. The Chinese lady on the phone is very rude and obviously does not like any form of feedback about the food if it is not a five star review. I gave this a one star as I had to give at least that but in my honest opinion it does not even deserve that.

We haven't been here for over a year because the food went from really nice to absolutely terrible. I don't know if they had a new "Chef" or what on earth happened but it was so bad, I even taught myself how to cook Chinese food at home from scratch and it ALWAYS goes down great for all the family. We've not had a great day today and time ran away from us. I was so hungry and needed to eat quickly so I could take my medication so I suggested picking up a simple chicken omelette and hips from Sun Sing Nantwich out of convenience because we live so near, surely they couldn't screw that up I said out loud to my partner who laughed! What I've just received is disgusting, no exaggeration whatsoever. There were 11 chips in total, that was it. The chicken was grey, full of ventricles and other gross coloured stringy bits. As sure as the grass is green I will NEVER order from here again, not as long as I have breath in my lungs will I even entertain the thought! Not if all the Chinese takeaways in Nantwich and surrounding areas were closed. This place has gone so far down hill it's closer to hell than anywhere else.

So lovely food best Atmosphere

First time and really disappointing. Usually go to Chopsticks but thought I would give them a go. Their crispy duck was more crispy than duck. The crispy shredded beef was soggy stodgy beef. The chicken sweet and spicy was just sweet and stodgy called to give an opportunity to perhaps put it right was told everyone has different tastes apparently my fault for not liking their particular take on Chinese food. Disappointing as a local restaurant and I really would have have liked to support.

Called for a delivery of food to the house at 18.15 I was told they would be a slight delay but we will be with you with 1 hour 15 mins called them at 19.50 I was told we're very busy I've checked with the kitchen its on its way at 20.15 I called back the response was we're very busy I will check again with the kitchen it will be another 15 mins but in way of an apology we will send you some drinks At 20.35 it arrived I call it as it was cold greasy and there were no drinks for the delay I rang to ask why was the food cold and where were the drinks again I was told we're very busy , at this stage I lost it with them asking why are you taking orders if you can't deliver food on time or even warm, I also asked for somebody from the management to call me back still waiting for the call STAY WELL AWAY !!!!!!!!!!!!! I will never use this place again rated 0

Been struggling for years to actually find a decent take away and a friend recommended Sun Sing, I can now say we have finally found one 😀... The staff were really nice both on the phone and in person when collecting the order. The food was piping hot even after A5 mile drive home... The food was the best I've had from a take away for many years and would highly recommend to anyone. All the dishes tasted delicious especially the duck in black beans, 😀😀😀... Great place which I will be visiting again in the near future 😀😀👍👍👍👍👍👍

No stars. Zero. Service was awful - 45 minutes late. Food full of vinegar. Awful - absolutely awful. Tried this place to make a change and try something new. Really wish I hadn’t bothered or wasted my money. Stay away is my recommendation

We got a delivery last night, easy to order, pleasant helpful staff, arrived when promised, lovely and hot, beautiful clean food. We got special chow mein, full of chicken pork beef and prawns, gorgeous. Yung chow fried rice, also really good and prawn crackers, delicious.

This Chinese is our go to takeaway. Staff always so helpful and courteous. I completely understand in this unprecedented time things are tough but when you order a takeaway and they state up to 1 and a half hours why does it take 2 hours 50? Either say up to 3 hours or offer a call to the customer once the food is on it’s way. Unfortunately today’s meal took the latter and after the crispy duck starter the main will have to wait til tomorrow as it’s rather too late to eat now.

Been going to this Chinese for as long as I can remember! Always get good quality food and tastes amazing! Staff are nice! My favourite Chinese around! They do the best seaweed I’ve ever had!

Amazing food and comes hot when delivered

The dishes were mediocre as you can see. They are simply cabbages and thickened corn flour sauce. Could barely taste the oyster sauce and the meat was not exactly very fresh. Not for the price and the quantity provided. Sad decline from how it was in the past.

I'm a vegetarian and have a takeaway delivered from here at least once a month. It's invariably, quick, hot, and tasty. My favourite takeaway in Nantwich by a mile!

This place is an old fashioned Chinese restaurant and the decor is a little dated. That said the staff have a old school charm and the food is really good, it’s a staple after the football or on a night out to call in and grab a table, the food never lets you down and is always good. We usually get our take away from Sun Sing but this time decided to eat in the restaurant. it is not fancy but very clean and well laid out with plenty of space. Staff are always friendly, happy to wait while you read everything on the menu. The food was fresh, tasty and definitely tasted even better eaten fresh from the kitchen compared to served up at home. Drinks very reasonably priced. For an everyday kind of treat this is a good choice.

Not tried this chinese before , previously had from oriental magic .. wasn’t impressed if I’mHonest . Had beef in black bean sauce with fried rice . Beef was tough , sauce bland with no spice or kick and fried rice , resembled boiled rather than fried .. all in all disappointing and pricy , compared to other local Chinese takeaways . Wouldn’t go again or recommend.

I always use Sun sing for Chinese takeaway. The food is consistently of a very high standard which i find is not always the case in other takeaways I've used. they're also good and dealing with food intolerances/allergy's. Prices also reasonable.

Called in for a takeaway over Christmas time but were shocked by the price for what we usually have.

We have visited this place several times but our last visit was not the most memorable.

I eat chinese food a lot and this pla s is the best around. Always delivered on time, hot and super tasty.

Had to wait 2.5 hours for food that I was told would be an hour and I that I had already electronically paid for. After waiting 2 hours I then rang and cancelled the food and was told I would have to go to the restaurant for a refund as their card machine couldn’t do it?! The delivery driver rings me 3 times asking where I live, 10 mins later food turns up and it’s freezing and inedible - All thrown away. I go to the restaurant the next day to receive my refund to only get half... Absolutely disgusting!!

Great food at a extremely reasonable price myself and 5 other diners had starters mains and several beers each for only 150. The lady of the house, we called her mother, because she looks after you like one, was fantastic. Great food, Great service, can't go wrong. Beats Chopsticks hands down.

We went as a group of 7 and the food was excellent. Prices are very reasonable and there is a good drinks choice too. Plenty of options for vegetarians and many set menus also. Staff were very nice. Handily located in welsh row just a short stroll from the town centre. There are a few Pubs close by.

Average food. Ordered takeaway which was obviously pre cooked and heated. Beef was stone cold. Not much flavour and they could put a bit more veg in and not raw onions. Sesame prawn toast was good but overall i will not return. In an easy position to get walking trade from bar and club. Walk a little bit further to a better Chinese in the town.

It's not often I lose my rag on the phone but tonight Sun Sing have had it both barrels. I've felt ill for 2 days and couldn't face cooking tonight so I ordered a takeaway - set menu A for 2 plus a vegetarian main dish.

They delivered the wrong order and then agreed to send out some of the correct order and expected us to pay for both! When questioned, the delivery driver stated that ‘just because we made a mistake doesn’t mean you shouldn’t pay’!!!

Have visited Sun Sing a few times, and also had a few deliveries. This place is unclean and battered. The decor is outdated, and the place looks like it needs to be shut down and deep cleaned! When visiting the restaurant we were rather shocked to see staff just walking around the place, on their phones, eating food, practicing nasty habits!!

Fresh fresh fresh and so tasty. Friendly staff great service . Superb food and not expensive not busy when we went and staff sat in room with us packing boxes we didn't mind and it made for super service but maybe not ideal when a bit fuller ?

We live out of Nantwich and tried a takeaway from these last weekend. Suffice to say, we are ordering again this weekend. Food was delivered hot and it tasted excellent. The gentleman who took the order on the phone was charming and very friendly. Great food and excellent service.

Called here a Saturday early evening had crispy lamb which was so dry and tasteless followed by schezwan chicken which to be honest I've tasted a lot better, did comment to the waitress to be told I'll tell the chef ! I won't be going back .

Went here tonight been going for years , but not anymore ,we waited an hour an half for our meal 3 customers​ walked out 2 more where about too my meal wasn't hot told him i expect a discount and got £3 which I thought was an insult,there excuse was busy with takeaway and delivery,we pay more to eat in so they need to get there priorities right they have lost a few customers tonight

Visited many times, and always had delicious food. My family and I love it. Young girls are hard working, and have good customer service, but seem rushed off their feet!One thing about this establishment is that they need to sort out their timings. Visited the takeaway on Saturday, and was told 40 minutes for collection. I arrived after about 35 minutes, so obviously it wasn't ready which was fine. But 25 minutes later, it still wasn't ready!! If the staff were honest I could have gone for a drink, OR HOME! I got my food 30 minutes after the previously agreed time of 40 minutes. THIS WAS UNACCEPTABLE! Staff working in the takeaway seemed very stressed, after dealing with many calls from customers chasing up their orders. They just seemed to be offered soft drinks for free!Food is always lovely, although once they missed out a few of my items (which were quickly brought to me after I called to chase them up!)Would recommend when it is not busy, and hopefully managers are able to realise there is a problem and sort it out soon!

Ordered a Chinese at 6.45 pm and was told 1hr 40mins, which a bit longer than you would normally expect, I thought ok that's fine.. very hungry at this point thinking could of cooked myself! . Called again and chased at 8.25 and was told the chef had underestimated the orders and maybe another 20mins !! Called again at 9.05 and was told still a problem with the chef it may be at be at least another 20 mins but wouldn't want to commit... I spoke to the manager and she said and I quote "what do you want me to do " ..... to which I said deliver the takeaway 2 hours ago !!! And she said I can't guarantee when you will get you food"... so I cancelled the delivery after 3 hours of waiting and apparently they do do not have the facilities to refund over phone and you have to be there ... !!!!! bearing in mind the last food we ordered was awful (2 years ago)... we thought we would give them another chance but hey...don't get passionate about much but this game place needs closing down... they are not sorry, they are ignorant and do not compensate, as they do not see that you need or want to eat. Apparently they think that the chef is to blame! She said they have 3 delivery drivers!! We are very very disappointed.... and getting very hungry after 3 hours!! This is the second time we have been let down very badly by them, the first time was no beef in shredded crispy beef in Szechuan sauce. It really was just batter... I rang to complain, as we were weekly repeat customers, was told this is normal, OH NO WE EAT IT MOST WEEKS we would be a better judge in that, APPARENTLY NOT.... she said there is usually some beef!!!! Shocking they do not give a monkeys about quality or service... MONEY is their only drive..... I say and I will now go to chopsticks, lovely, u just have to pick up... but definitely worth it and great people to do business with.
