Had a main course and found a long metal piece in the sauce. Took this sample to the shop and the chef managed to locate how this object managed to get in to my food. It was a metal piece of the scouring pad used to clean wok. I could of swallowed it if I wasn’t so carful eating my food.

Really is amazing food, fresh ingredients. Rice is cooked as you order not pre-done hours before. Very clean , husband & wife business. Also very cheap as Chinese go. Me & Mrs go regularly.

Salt and Chilli Box. The contents were fine. The Salt and Chilli!! Sod all Chilli had half a cup of salt. I like salt but OMG!! I has to put the food in a sieve and rinse it under a tap. I mean WTF! This place is disgusting. I can do Salt And Chilli way better than this. How does this place make any money other than avoid taxes by only accepting cash!! Avoid!!

I always get a take away delivery, as there is no where to park, being on a main busy Road . I don't know what has happened, but food is not hot anymore when delivered. Good job I have a microwave! It always was in the past. This has happened three times I'm the last three months!

Best salt and pepper squid I've found in sandbach.

Absolutely lovely salt n pepper chicken special fried rice pancake roll and battered chicken. Super tasty.

Second time ordering, the food is absolutely stunning.

Food, as ever, was good but disappointed that having order a take-away collection and been quoted 45 minutes when I arrived to collect they only started producing it after clearing orders for other people in the queue, including walk-ins. Ended up waiting a further 40 minutes. Annoying as I was originally quoted 1h30 for delivery, which I declined because it was too long. Ended up almost identical time and I did the leg work.

Ordered on saturday, friendly management and friendly person working on the phone, but the delivery driver showed up to my house smelling of mar*juana and i was missing £2 change! I love the food and usually the service of this restaurant but recently the delivery hasn’t been up to standard, and i’ll start collecting from now on.

Best Takeaway In Sandbach They Deliver On time! Never Been Disappointed!!

I walked in to collect my food and it was cold. I found hair in my chips and i asked for a new potion and the man inside was very rude on top of this i had to wait an hour to recollect it

I ordered at the weekend, and I am not impressed with the level of service I received, I ordered for delivery, for it to be over an hour’s wait, when my food arrived, the delivery driver was very rude and he dropped my food on the floor, which ment the sauce was tipped over everything. Very disappointed.

Chicken is slimey and on the verge of being raw! We ordered on Friday and found the delivery driver to be rude, there used to be a nice girl who did it who was lovely. Waited way to long for the food to come and the order was wrong but we just didn’t want to wait another hour for it to be rectified. Defo go oriental pearl from now on !

Came in to collect my order on Monday night, when i came in i was told my food would be ready in 10-20 minutes, i was waiting for 50 minutes for my food. While waiting i witnessed the manager being rude to his staff as well as being rude to me, when i asked to speak to the manager on why my food was taking so long. Even after receiving my food it was dry, and unflavoured. Not somewhere me and my family go often however this was definitely the last time we order from here.

Shab food cheap shab. If anything involves meat you want get much duck dishes are sparse compared to down the road in Middlewich. Dusty shop that's open or deliver when it suits. Probably not be trading this time next year. Lady ansrews phone can't understand any order then they wonder why got no satisfied customers. Chef needs go down the road and learn to cook

Years ago I used to rate this the best Chinese in Sandbach but recently the quality has gone downhill. Chicken plastic, rubbery and chewy - couldn't eat it unfortunately. Rest of the order was great however. Think I will avoid in future.

Used to be excellent. I gave 5 stars 3 years ago. We ordered last night and the food was pretty bad. Lumps of congealed fat in the duck dish, as if it had been taken out the fridge and barely warmed up. Avoid.

Quite the best Chinese takeaway in the area. Only observation would be the ribs which could be a bit more substantial but that's picking.

Ordered our standard Chinese that we get most weeks, They couldn't find one of the dishes on the menu so I had to physically go into the takeaway, despite trying to place my order over the phone. I then asked how long it would be for collection, since I had already driven to the takeaway, due to them, not finding the food item on the menu; i was told It would be 15-20minutes, i came back 20 minutes later and was told it wasn't ready, I then had to wait an extra 35 minutes for my food, taking the total waiting time outside the takeaway to almost an hour. Food was good, but the ordering process and wait time was ridiculous.

Long time customer of SanSan so had to leave a review after all these YEARS. Sansan is honestly one of the top chinese takeaways in Sandbach. A pound or two cheaper than others, with great portion sizes (we ALWAYS have leftovers), very friendly delivery and phone service and never have to wait longer than what they say. When closed earlier in the month we tried another local one, and whilst equally as good (but smaller portions and +£) we have gone back to San San. Friends who have moved away from the area often say their new locals can't beat it!

Ordered a sweet and sour chicken balls which was loaded with garlic and was disgusting when I rang to complain was threatened and they came to give me my money back and take the food away and continued to make treats

I had the Chicken Chow Mein. Was very delicious and cheap. Service was friendly and quick. Chicken was slightly dry but would still order again. Update 2 weeks later; got the same meal - chicken was perfect.

I have used San San 3 times, I have had the special curry twice and the red Thai curry once, the curry has always been very spicy and flavoursome, the egg fried rice and salt and chilli chips are excellent. The portions are large and the staff are friendly, also the service is good.

Once you have ordered something the phone rings and it takes ages for the food to come and the food is terrible

Went in for spare ribs and honey yes the meat was nice of what there was over £5 for a few ribs with not meat on not dirty but doest feel clean needs an serious update and menu price review should get what you pay for I do hope I change this review to a positive one soon

Very dirty in the shop. Dust on the tv 1 inch thick. Paint hanging off and smells horrible of dirty grease

The salt and pepper ribs are the best you will get anywhere in the area. The speed of delivery is so fast you assume they knew you were about to order. Sweet and sour chicken balls are fantastic. Some other dishes need work. Vegetarian options are not great and all end up similar.

Good portion sizes however the bbq is like glue really horrible consistency won't be ordering again

Used these guys for years, After ordering food tonight (salt and chilli ribs) I was greeted with what can only be described a coloured bones !!! When we rang to question the remains of some ancient beast we were told "that's the chance you take with S/C ribs" I wrongly assumed that the only gambling on Saturday nights was the lottery but it turns out you can know do it with your takeaway as well!!!!! last order from us im afraid.

En primer lugar, este ya no es el San San. Ahora Lees jardín. La calidad de la comida es ahora muy pobre. En particular, dulce amarga pollo. n pelotas Llegamos quemados fresco poco o nada de pollo. Cuando nos quejamos hizo de acuerdo para sustituir el orden pero, desgraciadamente, que mal. Chow mein se convirtió en Singapur Singapur arroz frito. No será con ellos de nuevo.

No trate de tener a muchos locales de comida para llevar, pero cuando tenemos una China que vamos a San San. A lo largo de los años hemos probado la mayoría de ellos en Sandbach, pero siempre parecen volver a San San. La comida siempre es deliciosa, los precios son razonables y el personal es muy educado y agradable. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

This is the Chinese we use if neither of us can be bothered to drive to our favourite takeaway (they don't deliver) The food is always very tasty, great choice on the menu and reasonably priced. I never know how they cook it, pack it and deliver it so quickly!! You won't be disappointed I'm sure.

I only ever order the same thing from here, as it is simply delicious. The crispy shredded chicken in salt and chilli.The meat is always nice, never chewy like some other places. And they are not afraid of using spice, and putting enough chilli on to give you some real heat!

Our usual Chinese appeared shut and as creatures of habit reluctantly decided to try sansan as they had put a menu through the door. We chose our usual so we could compare standards. We were delighted by the quality of the meal. We ordered a home delivery. It arrived within 20 minutes, was hot and was better value and tastier than our regular. We will be using San San from now on.

If I could eat in at the San San I would, but as it's a take away and delivery service only I have to dine in my own surroundings. Even at peak times, I've never waited more than 25 minutes for San San to deliver, and often it's under 15 mins. And that includes a 3 minute drive....The cooking starts as soon as you hang up the phone. I'd recommend their hot and sour soup, just delicious, Szecuhan beef and kung po beef also. For something absolutely not Chinese, try the spicy chips with salt and chilli.Positives : Fast, hot, great menu variety including Thai dishes.Negatives : parking is terrible if you are collecting. Get it delivered, and TIP the driver as he's FAST!

Went here tonight after a fabulous day out on the beach at Hoylake - so we were both ravenous and hadn't eaten as thought we were going to be enjoying a real feast.To be fair when we ordered at about 6.00pm, the service was good and the food was ready in good time. They were also really busy (which is normally a good sign), with lots of customers coming in along with telephone orders.We chose spring rolls and crispy won ton for starters and duck in plum sauce and fillet steak with with Cantonese Sauce for mains and a banana fritter for dessert.The spring rolls were tasteless and the won ton was one very small prawn hidden behind far too much deep fried (greasy) filo pastry. The fillet steak was over cooked and leathery and the duck was okay but a little under-done. The egg fried rice had virtually no egg in it and the noodles were greasy with a strange after-taste. The banana fritters were covered in a thick soggy batter and the bananas were soft and mushy.As you can see from our previous reviews we try to look for the positives, but in this instance, the food was possibly the worst we have come across. It wasn't as hot as it could have been and it was also pricey for waht we had.Our German Shepherd however, thought it was delicious - need we say more!

Over the last few years I have ordered for delivery countless times. San San are helpful, concistant and and above all else friendly, whether it be from the young, hepfull lady on the phone (that's how she sounds, always reassuring) to the especially chirpy guy who delivers (the boss I've been told). Everything is fantastic..... Absolutely LOVE this place

An absolute gem of a Chinese takeaway. From the lovely lady who takes our orders to the super fast delivery, fresh food and great choice I cannot fault the San San or recommend it highly enough, definitely the best in the area.

This is our Chinese takeaway of choice - the food is always really tasty and they are quick to prepare/deliver. Favourites are the sweet and sour pork balls and the beef in szechuan style sauce which has a real kick. Recommended!

Don't let the slightly tired looking exterior discourage you, everytime I have bought from this take - away I have never been short of delighted. Always a speedy service, whenever I order over the phone to collect, the food is always ready and waiting a few minutes later when I arrive. As an added bonus, the food does not taste as fatty as many other Chinese restauraunts. In addition the prices are as cheap as you will find anywhere.Undoubtedly this is the best Chinese take - away in town.
