Didn't even order. We really wanted a Chinese but when an order for 2 people came to £40 we were that disgusted we went completely off the idea. We could sit in a restaurant and have drinks for that. In fact if you're in the area Southport has an amazing Chinese restaurant with fresh beautiful food for less than here.

My daughter’s takeaway made her sick…I’d say avoid this place! We only went as the usual Chinese takeaway we use in Alsager was closed. Was surprised the food was cooked so fast (5 minutes) so should have thought!

The food was nice and came quickly 30 minutes great for a Saturday evening the main thing for me is it was very hot .My only criticism is too much salt used in the dishes especially the sweet and sour sauce less is much better I will use again hoping for a lot less salt added next time 👍😁

Tried this place last night for the first time after having a few beers in Alsager, Decided on Set meal B, it was lovely, fresh and plentiful, finished it off for tea this evening, Highly recommend

Fantastic take away!!! You have to pay cash as no card machine and they are not on food hub so have to call HOWEVER it is worth it!!!! Best chinese in the area 5☆☆☆☆☆

I don't understand how reviews can differ so much, I know everyone has their own taste but in my opinion this is the best Chinese/ Cantonese food around. Shame they don't offer delivery and only accept cash which means a trip to the cash machine but the actual standard and quality of ingredients are top notch. Everything we have had to eat from here has been tasty, fresh and reasonably priced. Give it a try of you haven't already, I'm sure you'll enjoy it, but if you don't enjoy it then you don't go again, simple.

I stopped going last year, but my son suggested I try it again, I have to say we had chicken curry with fried rice, it was shocking, don’t go here for food, it is rubbish.

Very good tasty food. I've not ordered for a while due to a bad experience in the past around some chicken that tasted off. But we all make mistakes its about recovery. It also can depend on the mood of the chef, how busy it is ? And the pressure on them, or the supplies. So there is always a reason behind bad reviews/ mistakes we all human . Tonight it exceeded my expectations. Always love the man who delivers in a white hat always very polite treats you like royalty. 5 stars well deserved got to give credit where credit due.

We decided to go n get a takeaway at our local Chinese restaurant. Out of all the ones in Alsager, Kam Fai is the best. The food is cooked before you and is always fresh and tasty. We spend about £30.00, but that will do 2 people for 2 days, and that's with huge portions as well. We love kam fai, and will continue to use it for many years to come.

I wasted £11 00 at this,establishment, the food was inedible, smelt awful, and after 1 mouthful it was consigned to the bin terrible. Never again

Pretty standard Cantonese-style takeaway. Dishes are a bit bland but good portions.

Stopped over for a takeaway while travelling on the barge. Food was quick and amazing! Big portions and good tasty food. Can’t ask for any more!

Had a takeaway from here last Saturday.We had a variety of dishes but it was all so bad that most of it went in the bin.Suprised we didn't get dodgy tummies after.Will not be wasting money in here again.Shame

Visited a friend in Alsager and had take out. Delicious. Eat Lemon Chicken, special Foo Yeung and chicken with cashew nuts. Easily as good as our take outs at home in Winsford. Recommend.

The crispy shredded beef sauce is so intensely sweet/rich it was very difficult to eat, I put it all over my chips so I couldn't actually eat the meal I paid for. What happened to nice sauces? It seems like a super cheap bulk buy sauce and it's literally not ok for humans

The best Chinese food in Alsager. Good choice of food on the menu, they are always polite and efficient over the phone, the delivery is usually fast so the food is always hot and fresh and of course delicious. I would definitely recommend.

We had a Chinese from here tonight and had it before and fine . Well tonight our chicken balls where grey inside and our sweet and sour chicken dried out . We also had the salt and pepper chips well they where hard . So I phoned to advise them in a nice way and no apology said they could make more , well I was done and put off by grey batter in my chicken. So asked for just a refund on those dishes . I went in to collect refund and she asked have u brought the food back ... No it in my bin so she reluctantly gave me my money huff and puffed and gave it to me with no apology again. Never ever will I step foot in there again . Customer service shocking . 👎👎

The inconsistency of food quality and service is an issue for me here. This was my third visit, fortunately, this time the food was good and tasty and looked better than my previous two visits. Food ordered in store rather than over the phone so was cooked there and then perhaps made a difference, previous orders were phone orders and were disappointing. I think staff and management (maybe be family business) could perhaps be a lot more welcoming and thankful for their customers, an occasional smile wouldn't go amiss. Improving...time will tell. Normally I'm three counts and they're out. The last visit saved the day for KamFai. Can't afford to be complacent in Alsager, there's always plenty of other places to eat or go for food.

I ordered a takeaway and was informed that there would be an hour wait which I was OK with as it was Saturday evening. When the food arrived they brought my Wife's food but not what I had ordered. I phoned up to complain and the chap who answered the phone hung up. I should add at this stage I was very polite. I phoned again and was told he would have to check what I ordered. I told him exactly what I ordered and asked him if he considered the possibility that he hadn't written the order down correctly as I was unlikely to order one meal for 2 people. I hung up after telling him no to bother. He phoned me back saying he had checked my order and that I had only ordered 1 meal. Worst customer sevice I have had anywhere. Didn't record my order then phoned me up to tell me I was wrong. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. MEDIOCRE FOOD. SIMPLY AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.

10/10 would eat again. The taste was heavenly, I was extremely excited to eat my food. The food was mouth watering; absolutely outstanding! I don't know what I would do without this, I just keep on coming for more!

This was the first time we had eaten here as we normally have from another but we didn't want to collect a takeout we wanted it delivered and these fit the bill. I was pleasantly surprised the food was lovely and fresh, it took about 45 mins to come which is about average for a Saturday night. I will order form here again when I need a Chinese delivered.

We wanted to try a local Chinese as per previous reviewers comments the choices local are poor...well this goes down the list from the one I thought was terrible. Where to start, 1 king prawn in the house "special" fried rice, pork that tasted sweaty...the highlight was the runny...like water runny...sweet and sour, had four dishes all poor and I have to be honest I'm not that picky, one to avoid

Although this takeaway has been in Alsager a long time me and my wife had never used it before this week. I happened to play golf and by the time I'd finished it was too late to cook so decided to try here as I was passing. The chicken in Garlic and chilli sauce was absolutely Devine I have this dish from most Chinese takeaways but this was definitely the best as it had a nice spicy flavour which I like as most tend to air on the side of caution where the chilli is concerned. My wife had the chow mein and also said it was excellent. I will definitely be using Kam Fai as my new Chinese.

Bad Chinese all round,the curry has no taste to it what so ever,all I can say the food's good if you haven't been to the toilet in a week have a kamfai curry and you'll have a seat on the toilet next morning for sure.

hi,just moved to alsager so wanted to try Chinese take away,in the past when here I used Chinese gardens restaurant for sit down meal on many occasions but thought for take away I would give kam fai a try,what looked positive was it looked quite modern and clean also open kitchen which is always good,i thought it was a tad pricey for a take away but they say you get what you pay for.at best some of the dishes were bland and tasteless,but I cat hold that against them as everyones tastes is different just because I didn't like the taste doesn't mean you wont.but where I do draw the line is food poisoning !I ordered several types of food for family members and we were sick ! salt & chili ribs were dripping in fat,chips were soggy and undercooked,and I still don't know if it was beef or not I ate,the only thing that tasted ok were the prawn crackers,and there normally prepacked so no credit to them personally,you may likebut as for me I wont be back.

We use kamfai for home delivery of chinese food generally on a Saturday. Always great food and great service!

Average food but if you are in a hurry it's the place to go. Open cooking area so you can see what goes in your food which is adequate.

We use this place occasionally as the other local options are poor. However, the quality of the food at Man Fai is nothing special. It certainly is not cheaper than other Chinese take a ways. We order fairly large orders but to their credit the waiting time is reasonably short. Another area that is not good is the lady that takes the orders. She is one of those people who should be dealing with the general public. She definitely lack charm. In addition she told us that the bill was £90-30. I gave her 5 £20 pound notes. Most people would call the bill £90 but she would not let me off the 30p and counted out £9-70 in change!!!

Visit regularly, food excellent, friendly staff and very quick even when busy great when your hungry highly recommend!

Have used KamFai for years and they never fail to disapoint, prompt delivery food is always piping hot and very tasty! Highly recommend!

We've been using this restaurant for years and service is usually quick (avoid New Year's Eve!) and if you call in then it's incredibly quick. Food is always good and we consistently return so it's obviously good enough to recommend!

Food is generally very good but not consistent.

We ordered a range of items both on menu, and a few off menu but we had enjoyed from other local chinese restaurants. The on menu was nice but the off menu wasn't, so this is a learning point for us.
