Who doesn't love Dragon City. One of the older take aways of Middlewich. Always great food and service from this collect only chinese.

You couldn’t pay me to eat anything from here again. Awful ribs, made me feel very poorly very quickly. Everything is bad quality. Even the rice is terrible and hard. Avoid and don’t waste your money/risk being unwell.

Ordered a takeaway with Just Eat. Food arrived on time. However the food wasn’t good. Everything was far too sweet. Hot and Sour soup shouldn’t be sweet. Chicken with ginger and spring onions shouldn’t be sweet. Beansprouts shouldn’t be sweet! It’s a shame it isn’t authentic at all.

Not the Greatest! Edible but nothing to rave about!

Been here twice. First time was lovely so thought would try again. Second time the food was horrible. Also ordered spring rolls and was given something completely different - and they wouldn’t refund for the incorrect item. Never again.

Spent ages phoning only to be told that they don’t deliver! Yet it is showing delivery service!

Best takeaway around. Travel from Sandbach because no where else compares.

The usual Chinese takeaway, would be good if they actually paid attention to the customers who support them. Try updating things.. like price changes.

Had a take away from Dragon city Middlewich ususally lovely tonight the salt and pepper chicken was just full of sugar! And didn’t taste at all like it should also salt and Pepper chips the same covered in sugar sickly! And all burnt waste of nearly 30 pounds and you don’t even get a sorry from the young staff member who answers ! Rude especially as I am regular customer!!!

We had been on a canal boat holiday and were dye to drop off out boat early on the Saturday morning. We moored in the centre of Middlewich and looked on TripAdvisor for local takeaways. Lots of cuisines were catered for but we chose Chinese. We ordered for 4 adults and 1 child. All our meals were met our high standards and, if we are that way again, we will definitely call back.

Really delicious food. Never disappointed. I wish they had a delivery service but they are really busy just doing takeaway. They have never delivered in the 24 years I have lived here so don’t understand some of their reviews. Unless reviewers have confused them with someone else.

We got 5 different meals last night.. Cannot understand why all main food components were covered in batter. Hard, over cooked duck which is then put in to batter, then cooked again. Awful really. Nil taste or moisture remained in the meat. Sauce was also sweet as hell. Our opinion, dont waste your money.

Best Chinese I’ve ever eaten! I’m extremely fussy with Chinese food, and me and my partner come here time and time again as the food tastes so great. Fairly quick service, decently priced and our go-to for chinese food.

We order from dragon city every weekend its by far the best absolutely gorgeous, we've tried most dishes and never had a bad one yet the satay chicken, beef curry, chilli Shredded beef & prawn toast are definitely our favourites 👌

My absolute favourite Chinese in Middlewich - I love it here and would definitely recommend. The chicken pagoda is my favourite dish as well as the Singapore vermicelli. Its cash only so just bear that in mind if visiting! 5*

Lovely! First time trying Dragon City…and it was great! Very fresh and very friendly inside Will definitely be back Only thing I would say is the salt and pepper dishes aren’t great and some better places locally for that For anything else it’s spot on!

Ordered take away , the taste it was ok but wouldn't buy it again , i think they fried my food in old oil cause all the food i ordered it was brown and tasted like old oil

Lived in Middlewich for years, often try the competition but none are half as good as dragon city. Just had one tonight and was probably the best Chinese I’ve ever had. Chicken satay was on point. For any newbees to dragon city there salt and pepper chips are famous.

Low quality food and took over 2 hours to arrive, we recommend you go else where. Cant get over how horrible this was. Waste of money and time it was that vial🤮🤮 Wouldn't go back if you paid me

One of the best Chinese take aways in the area. I use them as my go to chinese take away. NEVER had a bad meal from there.

I never write reviews but the food from this place was so bad I feel I have to warn others. Greasy disgusting food. Binned the lot and it cost me 30 quid. Never ever again.

Made an order of around £25, my partner ordered 1/4 hoisin duck which he said was horrendous, was hardly any meat on the bones and what meat there was, was slimy. I also order curry sauce, which had no flavour and was really watery. And salt and pepper chip, which looked like they were already hours old before they got to us and were soggy and cold. None of the food was bot when it arrived. My partner then called to complain and asked for either something else to be sent out or a refund as the only thing edible that we ordered was the egg fried rice, to witch the lady who answered the phone told him that there was nothing she could do, as the shop was closing in half hour. Overall, i am not impressed with the customer service or the food from here. As somebody who works in hospitality myself, i am absolutely disgusted.

Salt & Pepper Chips!!! Amazing!! Best I've eaten from anywhere!!!

Ordered from a couple of times recently and haven’t been disappointed. Can recommend the salt & pepper prawns, spare ribs & beef in black pepper - we haven’t tried very much so far but we’ll definitely be returning. It is slightly more expensive than other take outs but it’s worth it in my opinion......

Good takeaway portions ok and food tasty . Staff very friendly food hot and quick delivery. The spare ribs were a bit fatty but the sauce was delicious

Not been for a few months and won’t be returning again the food I ordered this evening was very poor to say the least. It came with hardly any sauce, was cold and tasted disgusting.

Ordered chinese takeaway today. When brought it home, I have noticed they mixed my order up and gave me spicy chicken thai style instead of what I have originally ordered. Can't stand spicy food, so had to throw it away. Never coming back there again!!!

Ordered a banquet for 12 people last night from dragon city. Despite me changing almost everything on the set menu they got the whole order exactly right and the food all taste very good. Well done dragon city!

Had food from this takeaway for over 29 years and everytime its always been fantastic. I especially ially enjoy the sweet and sour chicken, salt and pepper chips and seaweed.. amazing and very tasty.

Ordered as usual a big order for 11 sets of orders and had them coming out the kitchen in different orders and food missing. Food sat in the side for over an hour getting cold. Will never use this place again. The worst service ever and had to tell them to redo the whole order

We've been getting takeaways from here for the last 7 years, food always tasty and service great. However a couple of months ago we were very disappointed with the quality and taste so we stopped for a while. Two weeks ago we tried again and the food seems to be back on track, hopefully will continue.

Having used Dragon City occasionally over the last few years and not been too disappointed, it was an unpleasant surprise to get home and eat. My order of salt & pepper ribs was replaced by salt & pepper chicken, the duck in plum sauce was unrecognisable as duck or plum sauce, the crispy beef in chilli sauce was one solid lump, the chicken chow mein was the worst chow mein I have ever tasted, the special fried rice was easily the worst I have ever had, lacking in content ( one prawn and slivers of chicken and pork), the only half decent dish was the prawns in oyster sauce. Unfortunately, I will cross this off my list and never go back.

Absolutely love Dragon City food, best Chinese food I can find since moving to Middlewich. However, they don’t deliver which is quite a pain for lazy people like me. Totally worth getting in your car for though.

This doesn’t look like the best takeaway from outside but it has a great menu with plenty of choice. I selected chicken and mixed vegetables with boiled rice and it was far better than most takeaways, well worth a visit 😊

For the last 20 years this Chinese has produced the best shredded beef in OK sauce ( Chilli Sauce/ Peking sauce) I have ever tasted in the North west. It is a shame they do not deliver but may be that is a good thing for my waistline, as I would be ordering twice a week if not more. We also love the Beef Shardee ( a rich thick satay type sauce) it is no longer on the menu but the Chef kindly cooks it for us whenever we order. Fantastic service fantastic food.
