The best restaurants serving Chinese food in West Midlands

What a lovely experience! I booked a table for 10 people on a Monday night for a family birthday celebration. We opted for the all you can eat menu in order to be able to try a few different dishes. The staff were amazing, so helpful, friendly and efficient. The owner was very attentive, checking everything was ok and laughing and joking with us. The food was delicious and plenty of it. We didn't order more as we couldn't even manage the initial food served, for this we were offered boxes to be able to take what was left home, so I now have tonight's meal sorted.....the gift that keeps giving! I would highly recommend The Ruby restaurant and we will definitely be back soon :-)

We went party of 5 for my daughter 12th,the food was dry,well over cooked and some stuff was just to spicey for children,I also have autistic child so she ended up hardly eating anything,the oldest female memeber of staff then proceed to shout saying the kids have wasted to much food even though the bill was about to be over £100 we explained why she shouted again for a fair few people to hear that we should pay more for the 2 plates that wernt touched due to taste and spice,she then shut up when we told her to go and give it to the homeless as the bill will be paid anyway doesn't matter if we wasted food we can't eat,I still paid for it all,again like I said it was my daughters 12th so she obviously ruined the atmosphere we left after that,it's disgusting place got worse over the years and that staff memeber should not be serving specially to children,nasty women.

We have been here 2 times this year including Valentines Day. Always great food and good service. The food is fresh and cooked to order with excellent tastes. Nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant is always busy, the staff work hard and no real waiting, just be realistic when busy. Will always keep going back here.!!!

Una vez más... un viaje hasta allí para que se cierre esta vez parece una renovación. Había comprobado si había un día que estaba cerrado, y su página decía que se abre a las 5 pm. Llegó a las 6 pm, a todas las luces en un salto casi lleno en el estacionamiento y el interior despojado. Solo deseo que actualicen la página esta es la tercera vez que llegamos cuando dice abierto... Sin embargo, he llegado en el medio y están abiertos También disfruto mucho de la comida cuando está abierta ... por lo tanto volver. ¡Estaba regodeando pensando en costillas de repuesto cantadas y sus fideos!

El servicio fue sobresaliente y ninguno invasivo La gama disponible era impresionante, sí teníamos el bono de la tarjeta de descuento de alimentos. Esto es solo valor añadido. Teníamos una amplia gama de delicias, algunas viejas y otras nuevas. devolveríamos la respuesta sería un rotundo sí, sugiero que más hagan

Tried Jumbo house for the first time, can’t speak for any of the meat/fish dishes as I am vegetarian, but the quality and flavour was great! Vegetable noodles, vegetable curry, rice and chips

Arrived 24/12/24 6pm table booked no issues showed to our table drinks starters mains coffees £151 quid now people will say that's steep but the quality of food that was served potion sizes everything was pipeing hot it was money well spent have been back 2x since xmas eve plenty of veggie options wife a veggie again potion sizes very good will we go again to right

There’s a few different Chinese restaurants to use in the same town and we feel like we’ve found a gem here. Beautiful food, great quality and service with a smile. We had a set meal for 2 and each item of food was tasty and both my wife and I commented on how impressed we were. Will certainly be going back again.

¿Quieres una noche en durante nuestro fin de semana fuera y consiguió una comida para llevar entregado. Entrega rápida y comida muy sabrosa. El pato literalmente se derritió en tu boca. Rollos de primavera gratis que fue un buen toque. Porciones de buen tamaño también.

Arrived to find only take away part open not good . Don't know if it's permeantly closed or not !! Can't say anything more !

After coming here numerous times, we’ve always had a lovely Chinese. My family come over from America for xmas, I’ve bought them here the last three years. This Xmas get together can only be described as appalling, family still waiting for their meals while other family members had eaten there’s. Some food was cold, numerous cock ups. Was offered 40# off the next time we came, very poor customer service, all teenagers working the bar & serving tonight. My family have refused to come back. Shocking!!

I don't understand the other reviews here. I've been here twice and planning more trips at the moment, although at the time of writing this it is temporarily closed (not sure why). I've been there with my parents and my boyfriend on different occasions and the service was lovely. Food tasted amazing, everything was clean and the plates were warmed. We also enjoyed some of the chocolate fountain. The price is completely reasonable.

From going in to leaving, the whole experience was brilliant. Great service, tempting menu and not too expensive, a real delight, will definitely be calling in again

Just had a takeaway from the Ruby. Absolute dire food lacking in any taste whatsoever !!! There was nothing of note bar the prawn crackers. Triple crown. No bean sprouts. Barbecued spare ribs. Cold sauce and could have substituted HP brown sauce. Szechwan special. Aka as sweet and sour mixed meat. Will not be spending any more money here. That’s apart from the hour wait !!!!
