Shocking! Gone down hill and i will never order again! Currys sauce is so spicy compared to how it use to be done. Chicken is either undercooked or chewy. Duck literally arrived in its own lake it was that wet and sloppy. Chips are burnt. Would it harm the people behind the counter to crack a smile and stop being so rude?

Asked for gravy, got SOME VERY sweet bbq sauce all over my food, so wasted, Orange chicken chewy & cold, prawn crackers ( even though free) were soft, waste of £18, clisr at 1145, but rang at 1130 too complain & ignored phone, very upset you would take £18 for this shambles & ignore phone

Nice sweet and sour sauce together with the chicken, not too keen on the rice, it seemed more like couscous.,Sorry.

Sorry to be writing this as I have used this place for years . Chicken fried rice was amazing every time ordered a few months ago and put it down to a one off, so ordered again tonight.the rice was shocking😳what ever you are doing can you stop and do the rice like you used to.

Years ago this use to be great Chinese takeaway. Unfortunately this is no longer the case. I will upload a picture of my prawn cracker, and you will understand how bad this meal was. Brown, stale and bendy. The rest of the meal was not much better!

Vile! The grease on the spring roll you could squeeze it out,the chicken ball batter was so burnt and the chicken was pink inside defo won't be using again !!

What a fabulous place. The portions are generous indeed the set meals for 2 are for 3 or 4. And the taste is great. Thanks for a fantastic meal. The lady on reception is so friendly that it's easy to talk to her. All in all a great experience

Original gave a 5* review but after my most recent visit. The woman behind the counter was very rude. Really enjoyed the food but felt massively belittled by her even called my girlfriend “fella” when picking up the order.

Excellent food at a reasonable price. Some of the best tasting chinese food in Nuneaton, very popular locally. Does home deliveries too. Would have got 5 stars but sometimes the waiting time is way too long recently.

Although this place not local to us we always use Saveway there is nearer takeaways to where we live but have Always enjoyed our takeaways from here Never had a bad experience so far. Always found them to be very friendly when placing an order & enjoyed what we have ordered.

Absolute joke of a place! Placed and order at half six and was told it’d be 45 minutes. Phoned again at half 7 and was told would be another 15 minutes! Then at 8 o clock phoned to cancel and that lass on the phone says “oh I’m sorry I’ll have a fresh meal cooked and brought to you immediately”. That’s what you should have done in the first place!!! So after an 1 hour and 45 minutes and sat here with no food. New oriental it is!

My Son asked for his to be made extra spicy and they obliged. I know this place gets mixed reviews like anywhere .. But Think In all the years we have been using this certain Chinese takeaway we have only been disappointed once. Always found the person taking your order on the phone very pleasant & helpful too especially if you need to ask any questions on what certain meals contain & always very pleasant when you walk in order from the counter .... No complaints from me or my family so far .

Absolute joke, waited so long ,we cancelled our order and won't be going back

Ordered food from here, firstly I was over charged. Food arrived and the chips were rock hard and cold ! Chow mein was terrible and soggy. Telephoned to complain about what we had received and was told they would knock some money of the next time we order. I explained that there wouldn't be a next time as food is so bad. The lady then replied saying that she is currently eating some food out of the shop saying 'it tastes fine and has been cooked for over 2 hours' a very unhelpful and sarcastic response. Stay away from this take away terrible food and manners from staff !!!

Absolutely horrible. Offered to knock money off next order when called to complain. Definitely won't be a next time. Staff sarcastic and rude when said won't be ordering again. Wouldn’t even give one star if it was a choice. We had a 2.5 hour wait for our food when it got here the delivery driver was rude towards us. The food wasn’t fantastic the prawn crackers were stale, the duck pancakes had lots of bone in, the chips were greasy and the curry sauce had a film over it. Would never order from here again absolute shambles of a restaurant. Very disappointed.

brute! Garbage takeaway shop! Garbage service, food stinky! Listening to the employees in the takeaway store said that the boss is very bad, insisting on squatting employees and hitting employees. These employees don’t have a passport, so they are really pitiful.

We have been using this takeaway on and off for many years. We have had the odd dodgy one but on the whole not to bad. That is until tonight. We ordered a thai style curry amongst a few other bits. First there was hardly any meat. 2 prawns and half a tub of saxa table salt. It ended up in the bin as it was inedible. The response on the phone when we rang to complain was" well the thai curry just has a bit of coconut in to make it taste like Thai"??? Wtf?? And we can give you 10% off your next order" Not a chance. I will save the other 90% and find a chinese with a chef that knows how to cook!!!!!

Just eaten from here and I'm sad to say that it wasn't the best, ordered for collection at a specific time and it was cold... also on this and the previous occasion the chicken balls were really stringy. I hope things improve as this was a really good chinese. 😌

We regularly use this take away and it's always nice hot tasty food. Pleasant staff that are always friendly. Never had a takeaway as i always collect mine. Well worth a visit .

Food quite nice when they can get ur order correct. Ordered in shop and drove home with my order. Order wrong yet again. Telephoned to tell them and they wanted to give me a credit note for my wrong order. Don’t think so I wanted my food that I paid for. Had to wait 40 more minutes for them to bring me the correct order I paid for and by this time the rest of my food was cold. Fed up with this happening nearly every time we use this place.

last night oct 12th 2017 food was being brought back, complaint after complaint, my daughter was sick all night. avoid like the plague, disgusting food.

First time experience and last!!! Ordered special curry with fried rice and a portion of chips. The chips were burnt and teeth breaking hard. Since eating only a small amount of meal as none of it was easy to digest I have become well acquainted with the bathroom i should have just flushed my tenner down the pan in the first place. The ordering and delivering was spot on though.

We have recently moved into the area and Saveway was recommended to us as a great Chinese Takeaway. The recommendation was well founded. Saveway provides good value with generous portions. Friendly staff and a fast service all add up to a lovely local takeaway.

Food is always very good and very good value, we always use saveway!Delivery times can be a little slow as they get very busy at weekends, but food is always hot when it arrives!Try the salt and pepper chips as they are lovely!
