Absolutely disgusting and extremely rude on the phone when I asked them to come and collect the food the DELIVERY DRIVER TOLD ME I WAS NOW BLACK LISTED! 🤔 Excuse me I will never ever be ordering from GOLDEN HOUSE EVER AGAIN THANKYOU! THE FOOD WAS DISGUSTING THE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVEN WORSE!

Food is quite nice, some things could do with being better. Not keen on their sweet and sour sauce. Happy with the options available. The owner is really friendly and nice. The waiting room is very cold and not very comfoy but not many are to be fair.

Rang every 45 mins for 3 hours, and was told my food will be with me "in a few minutes" on the final call they say they delivered it to the wrong address very rudely and told me "if you want to go knock on their door and get it that's fine" ridiculous prices, shoddy looking establishment, terrible attitude to customers. Just don't use them

Waste of money, ordered roast pork curry with egg fried rice, no taste to the food and texture was horrible!

Ordered a roast pork curry with egg fried rice. No flavour, pork had no chew to it like other places, rice seems as it was cooked in a steamer rather than fried! Absolutely no taste whatsoever, ruined my appetite for the evening! Will continue to use heath road as my choice going forward!

Have used this takeaway for many years, last one we had wasn't great but we tried again tonight, it has gone in the bin, the meat was inedible just pure gristle.. the spicy chips were covered in black bits, the r8bs had next to no meat on them and the prawn crackers were stale.. extremely disappointed as until recently this was a really good takeaway... time to find a new one... I really really wouldn't recommend this place now, we enjoy a treat after working hard all week then to wait an hour only to find we have to throw it away makes us not willing to take a chance again and its not cheap !! ...

Good service, curry could have been hotter, very mild. Good delivery driver rang to say on way. All in all good , but do prefer hotter curry.

Horrendous service. First time trying this Chinese and will be last. Made order and after waiting 20mins a "regular" came in and they dealt with that person before me. Won't be going back. Example how to lose a customer before you gain one.

Ordered numerous times food great but they can't get the order right anymore and argue when this was questioned, we were loyal customers won't use again

Having had food from here previously I ordered with some confidence of the same quality. The food received was so sweet and luke warm it was inedible. When we called to enquire as to why this order was not up to standard, we were told it was our fault for ordering the wrong type of dish? Despite the fact we had ordered the same thing previously.,...I would not have ordered a sweet if I wanted a savoury dish. Waste of time and £25 wasted.....

I like the food but the outside needs a update also the inside the vegetable rolls are real nice the egg fried rich is so nice and the curry chicken balls are some times to chewy but over all this place is good the staff great and the delivery driver is the funniest gut ever. 👍

For some reason the main chef has really long nails and they are always yellow, it’s really disgusting. I would avoid ordering from there, Don’t know where his nails have been. eww, I only noticed when i ordered for collection.

,,,,,,this was THE best Chinese take-away in the area. Sad to say this is NO LONGER true. Standards are not what they were. The last chicken curry meal we purchsed here was diabolical. The spices used have changed beyond all recognition, making the meal almost bitter and virtually inedible. The chow mein was just "OK". The bag of chips we ordered was fine - but NOT a good reason to use this takeaway. Sadly after many years we will be trying other places.

First time at this place tonight, very polite lady serving and got the order to perfection, place appeared very clean. Food was lovely could not fault it.

Great food (in the most unlikely of places 😁). 1st time today and we had the following and we have rated as follows: - Singapore chow mein 9/10 - sweet & sour chicken balls 8/10 - plain chow mein 9/10 - garlic and chilli chicken wings 10/10 (overlooking a few feathers that needed plucking lol) - shredded beef 8/10 - banana fritter 10/10 The prices are also good and competitive. The staff are really polite and lovely. Overall, this was a great meal and I will definitely be ordering there again in the near future.
