Highly recommended.. we decided to have a takeaway delivered this time, food was great, very good serving and delivery was earlier than expected ...

A really great no frills venue for Chinese food lovers Food is fresh and hot and all you can eat served to your table Staff sometimes have an issue with English being a second language but they are always poilte and efficient A great go to place food is well worth the price decor and ambiance is a little lacking but if you having a craving for decent Chinese food get yourself to bucknall

The restaurant is a bit tired, little things like an empty fish tank, that needs tidying, chairs stacked in a corner, but the quality of the food is out of this world. Five times I have been there and every time it is tasty, hot and served quickly would definitely recommend

I had been put off by some previous negative reviews. Please ignore them. We were warmly welcomed and all the food is cooked fresh to your order. This is a little unusual for an 'eat as much as you like' restaurant, but, in my mind, so much better. This does mean a little wait between ordering and eating, just as in any 'normal' restaurant. The only difference is that you can keep ordering until you are full, all for a fixed price. In addition, the food was excellent. I will certainly be going again.

Booked 2months ago for my dad's 60th birthday meal.booked for 30 people waited 3hrs for main course.complained to owner to be told they are behind because people wanted different main meals.not acceptable considering they had 2 months notice.if they can't do it then they need to ask people what they want to eat in advance.

Set price, order food, eat food, order more, repeat! Good quality & freshly cooked, building a little shabby, but Staff wonderful & everything clean & comfortable. Great meal :)

Lovely wee Chinese . Doesn’t look much from the outside, but food was amazing. It’s eat as much as you like for a set price. You order and it’s brought to your table as it’s made. Fresh , hot and delicious.

Food is amazing! You can just keep ordering as much as you like, and the price is fantastic! The only feedback I have, is that the restaurant can be cold, so I found myself having to wear my coat the whole way through the meal! Put some heating on and warm the place up!

Found this on Trip Advicer and thought would try somewhere different. Well what a mistake never ever again. The service was awful. Asked for onion rings for 1 got 1 onion ring. Seaweed for 2 was a very small dish. Duck for 2 was enough for 2 pancakes but 8 pancakes came out. Ask for more duck sat waiting for over 10 mins and no one came too the table at all. Went to the bar and told them we weren't happy. Told them that we would pay for what we had eaten was threatened with police. Ask to see manager was first told he was busy. Then he appeared. Explained that we weren't happy. For him to say that they were very busy with takeaways and tables. There was 5 tables been used which were small groups. Paid £8 and left will not be going back

This is a different buffet from most , you order what you want and they cook it fresh for you . Food is nice the staff are polite . What more do you want for £14 a head ??

Had a meal here with friends. The venue was pleasant enough and looked clean. Food was buffet style but served to the table. Sadly a lot of the dishes were not to our liking. The chicken satay was a little dried out, although it was accompanied by a lot of sauce. The hot and sour soup was unlike other versions I have tried, and I wouldn't order it again. The "sea weed" was a different texture than normal, as was the duck in the duck and pancakes. However, the staff were very friendly and tried to do their best. I'm not sure if the restaurant has changed hands lately, the food here seems different than I've had here in the past. The restaurant only accepts cash as the method of bill payment.

Mucho mejor que un buffet abierto. Pero todo pequeñas porciones que se pide es recién preparada, si quieres un plato sólo pide una y otra vez. Una excelente selección de entrantes, opciones menos apasionante en los platos principales, así que teníamos más entradas y menos platos principales. Había algunos postres poco a servirte si me apetecía algo dulce para terminar con. 2 personal agradable haciendo lo mejor para satisfacer. En general, buena comida a un precio razonable.

This restaurant has been closed for the last few weeks. The notice on the door says it will reopen on the 12th (month not specified) but as it is now the 18th Jan it looks like there is a problem.

Food is good, all you can eat at a set price. Not a buffet, you order dishes from the menu. Good parking. Ambiance does leave a little to be desired.

if i had done this review a year ago it would have been 20 out of 10 it was always crazy good food and brought to your table very fast.....things have changed....arrived at 5.30 on a Saturday with the open sign turned on, walked in and thought it was closed, no one around, just as i am about tap the bell a woman showed up and took us to a table and got my daughter a highchair....ordered drinks and got them very quick, there was only one other person in the restaurant so made sense there wasnt a delay....i began to ask if i could have coconut shrimp its not on the menu but in the past if they had coconuts in they would do them for me(naked prawns in a coconut glaze, very yummy!!), the lady looked at me like i didnt have a clue what i was on about so i asked if they could do steamed buns, and at this point she asked the chinese lady that was chatting to the other patron that was there and as i explained what i wanted she looked at me as though i was asking for a Mexican item rather than a Chinese item! even the steamed buns she hadnt a clue.....we eventually established that its no longer owned by the same people as it used to be which is fair enough, just very strange that a Chinese woman doesn't know what a steamed bun is.....so we ordered what we have had in the past my wife had a few starters and i went for the mains, the waitress was a bit funny saying 'we do starters first' which is fair enough, if you want something on the starter list, which i did not(again have been here at least 5 times in the past and never had issue if i wanted a main)....food arrived very fast, almost to fast considering it is 'made to order' nothing is as it was, food is alot spicier than i have had before and not just from here from Chinese in general i thought there was alot more heat, which my wife agreed with, so we had to becareful what to give our kids....the chicken satay on skewers i swear was cooked last week and just tossed in the deep fryer to warm up, so tough and gross, the satay was super spicy....the crispy shredded chicken was also very strange and never as i have seen it before, it looked more like it was boiled strips rather than fried and crispy then slapped with a very weak soya sauce, which again was weird as never had a soya based sauce for crispy shredded chicken its normally a nice sweetish sticky sauce, every restaurant does it different but this was the first i have ever had it like this....not all doom and gloom though the boiled and egg fried rice were very nice and i found a new favorite and a reason to maybe visit again....the smoked chicken was fantastic....i have never had it before so not sure how it is at other places but its strands of chicken cooked and tossed in a salt/sugar like coating, and my god that was to die for, so although other dishes were below par i would HIGHLY recommend this chicken....dessert was a joke, very bland cakes and profiteroles...jello was nice and refreshing though. bathrooms were well cleaned and smelled lovely, no soap in the mens which is a bit gross.....probably wont go again with the food changing as much as it has and the prices still the same, but will 100% get some take out of the smoked chicken :-)

Never been before and was getting to late , didn't want to venture into Hanley so called here, was pleasantly surprised , food was lovely well cooked and nicely presented. Tried lots of starters and a few main courses we would return and recommend not to dear as well which is always a bonus .

The staff were absolutely lovely. They bent over backwards throughout the whole service and were extremely pleasant, polite and attentive. They also went out of their way to accommodate me as a vegetarian and the Chef even cooked me a vegetarian dish especially - really delighted!The food was piping hot and full of flavour. I will definitely be visiting again: great people and a great place A very full and very happy customer I've not had better service anywhere.

Very friendly, nothing is to much trouble. Cannot believe the amount of food you get for your money, and it's really nice. Eat as much as you like buffet, different though because it's cooked to order. We start with soup, followed by selection of starters, 9 each in total followed by crispy duck. Then choose your mains as any as you like followed if you can squeeze anything else in dessert. Serve is quick and all drinks brought to your table. Well worth a visit you can try all those dishes you've wanted to as all included in set price. Good for couples, family or friends

We visit here regular and everytime the food is freshly cooked and pipping hot. The waitress is always very pleasant and helpful. Xx

Went here for a family evening meal. All you can eat buffet, which was reasonably priced. All food fresh cooked to order and brought to the table piping hot. Very friendly and helpful staff, who advise what dishes you can eat dependant on your dietary requirements and allergies. Well definitely be visiting again in the future.

Regular visitor to Bucknall China. Food lovely and fresh. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Celebrated my mums birthday, the staff made it extra special.

Lovely hot and tasty food, everything on the menu tastes so good, friendly staff nothing is too much trouble, great value for food you defiantly get your money's worth here.... Having read many reviews on this restaurant good and bad, I decided to try it. I'm not a huge fan of buffet style food due to hygiene reasons and also a nut allergy. This buffet restaurant came as a delight when I was told all the food is cooked fresh and brought to you at the table. I explained to a staff member that I had a nut allergy and she explained what I could and couldn't have, which was very welcomed as a lot of restaurants don't care. My husband had soup to start which he said was very tasty, we then shared a mix starter which was very tasty, all nut products put separate for my husband. Choice of main courses was good, we decided on only 2 dishes with fried rice but again very tasty and presented well. Deserts were nice they had a choice of different flavoured ice cream, choc fudge cake, cheesecake, Victoria sponge cake, this bit was the only help yourself section. All 3 Female staff were very helpfull, and they looked liked they actually enjoyed working here, which was very pleasant. Overall I would definitely recommend bucknall China it's not a looker inside or out but it does good food and very pleasant staff, and it was busy on a Saturday night at 8.30pm. Will definitely be back.

Visited bucknall China on Christmas Eve. We opted for the buffet menu where you order from the menu & the food is delivered to your table, not like the usual buffets where you help yourself to Luke warm food. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience at bucknall China. The food was exceptional as was the service of the young lady waiting on who was efficient, polite & had a very good sense of humour that I managed to bounce off & have great banter withSo a great night made possible by good food, service & banter & I can't wait to return for more of the same Thankyou

Went as we were hungry after moving into a new house in the area. Staff were amazingly pleasant, food was if a high quality and the choice was extensive. I mean duck at a buffet! The lovely thing about here is your choice of food is cooked fresh and brought to your table.

The food here tastes lovely and fresh and very good prices. however the staff and service let this place down completely. Talking Chinese at the bar whilst waiting to be served, didn't look as though they wanted to be there. we were sat down in the empty restaurant but waited for about 15 minutes before we were served. This is not an open buffet, food is served to your table. the selection was good however, even though it is all you can eat, you almost feel embarrassed to keep asking for different things. Also you get a full portion when you order so after 1 or 2 you are full! I prefer where you can have a little bit of everything, but each to there own. Would I eat here again, No, But, I would have takeaway from here as the food was lovely.

Came to the Restaurant for a family birthday meal and found the new staff to be very friendly, helpful and a vast improvement on the previous staff.The Buffet food was piping hot as its made to order and brought to your table. Although the restaurant was almost full we found that we didn't have to wait very long for our food which was the nicest selection I've had in buffet. Everyone in our group enjoyed the food & service and we all said that we would definately be going again.

Under new management. Lovely food with excellent choice of dishes eat as much as u want for £14.99 on Sat aandnd Sun or £13.99 rest of week. Food was piping hot not greasy or salty like some othe chinese restaurants. Service friendly and quick but not rushed. Will definitely visit again

Been goin lots, but under new management. Duck was chewy with strange taste, meals just about warm, fruit in the pudding section was days old but to my shock the waitress kept my change!! I paid my bill and waited 20mins for my change, I asked the waitress where it was, she looked at me and said "I took change as tip!" Cheek of it. It was £6. I asked for my change, she tutted and walked off. When she gave me my change, she slammed it in my hand!!! Will NOT be goin back here NEVER

Eight of us just turned up and didn't have to wait for a table we were seated straight away. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. When it came to ordering it was hassle free they were happy to help when we had a selection of starters to dip into all hot and very tasteful the mains were just as great piping hot and full of flavour the deserts were a little limited but by the time we had all eaten it was quite late so not to much to grumble about. Very good service and food and would definitely go back and recomend fab value for money thank you for a great night.

Shocking customer service. Ordered a takeout. Took ages to come. They were busy to be fair but when I got the food home the chips were frozen in the middle. The Singapore chowmien was unflavoured and the beef and chicken was undercooked. Well I say that it didn't taste right. I poored the contents back into the pots and bag took it back and they were unapologetic and didn't offer a refund. I hadn't touched the food. I didn't pressure them and said I would be leaving negative feedback. The manager didn't care. Disgusting treatment to a customer who has always gone there. Never again...they arw under new management and you would have thought they would keep a valued customer. Rip off merchants frozen chips. ..

We heard that this restaurant was under new management so decided to give it another try. We were glad we did. We once had a take-away meal from here (previous owners) and although the food was good, the staff were off-hand and didn't make us welcome, so we never ate in the restaurant. This time was a different matter altogether. The waitress was really welcoming and friendly, was attentive but not intrusive while we were eating and we had a very pleasant evening. The food was freshly cooked, good quality and piping hot, and came to table quickly, The desert menu was a tad limited and I would like to see some authentic Chinese beer in stock - always like to drink beer from the same country as the type of food with our meals . The decor could do with a little updating but this no doubt will come in time. Overall a really enjoyable evening

Heard this restaurant was under new management, so gave it another try. Previously had a take-away from here but the staff didn't make us at all welcome so never ate in the restaurant.New staff have made a world of difference. Waitress was welcoming, pleasant and friendly, was attentive but not intrusive during our meal. The food was good quality piping hot and quickly served. Would like to see the dessert menu extended and a choice of authentic Chinese beer in stock as we always like to drink beer from the same country of origin as the food.I would recommend this restaurant, and will certainly be going again

This was our third visit to bucknall china and every time the food has been excellent and great value. I thought I should write a review now as the place has now been taken over by new people but although the food and drink remained the same the service is now a lot friendlier although I never had a problem with the people before I notice a lot of people did and I could see why some people would think that the previous staff were rude and not very attentive this didn't really bother me as I like to just be left to it sometimes but the new staff are so much friendlier and attentive making sure everything is fine but not too much which can be annoying sometimes so although the food was the same the overall experience was so much better and I'd definitely recommend this place to anybody who is looking for a Chinese restaurant with great quality food and nice pleasant atmosphere.

We have been to this restaurant before and have never had a problem. We went for an early family tea on a Sunday, the staff were not welcoming at all, in fact really rude! Very limited drinks menu,I asked for a glass of water and was brought a warm one, we were the only customers there, but the food was really quite nice, however the staff seemed put out that we wanted to try a couple of choices from the mains.We did eat all our food. The deserts however were limited and frozen solid - tiny cheesecake and mini cream cakes. We will never go again, which is a shame as we dont live to far away. The staff made us feel really uncomfortable.

Staff were so rude and me and my friends just felt uncomfortable then the bill came and they charged 11.20 for 2 cokes and 2 soda waters!!! Rip off!!! We were freezing and staff took our plates away as soon as we put las bit of food in our mouths !! Never going again!!

Well, this isnt the first time we have dined at Bucknall China, and again the food and service are second to none, if i was being over critical the venue seems to be missing something, back ground music it seems to lack atmosphere somehow, but the menu is full of mouth watering pleasure. The all inclusive menu is our choice and for £14.95 is a very good value choice.

I have always found the food to be brilliant, the staff are friendly and make a fuss of my 3 year old son. I have never had a bad meal and have visited a number of times throughout the year. The food is freshly cooked.Can not recommend highly enough.

17th oct 14. Having read the reviews we decides we would ignore the negative ones and decide for ourselves. Really pleased we did. We went early evening and had an excellent meal. There is a very good selection of dishes to choose from. Those we chose were well presented and of a very good quality, and freshly cooked. The Pawn toast one of the best I've had. All the staff were friendly, helpful and very polite. The price was good too.We will certainly dine there again.

Attended for Family Birthday food very good and hot well presented sweet choice very poor but main complaint is the staff very abrupt poor english hard to understand continually asking for eating utensils all seemed too much bother for the staff what did not look good was a child whose mum a member of staff was allowed to play with eating untensils ie forks etc which then were given to another customer!!!!!! No tips left!!!!!!!!!

Food was amazing, we normally eat at Arch or Bauhinia and this was just as nice for a cheap and cheerful place!Service was the slowest I've ever encountered. We sat with my debit card on the table for 20 mins getting ignored. We finally got fed up and went up to the counter to pay.Great food, terrible service!

Always enjoy visiting Bucknall China for the all you can eat buffet. The buffet style is different where the food is cooked fresh and bought to your table which is great. There is a great choice and would certainly recommend the chicken and sweetcorn soup and the spring rolls. Great value at £13.99-£14.99 a person. Great friendly service, certainly recommend it as one of the best buffet places I have been.

After reading other reviews we were wondering what to expect. We visited this restaurant as a party of 7 for a birthday celebration. The menu was set at £14.99 per person as this was a Saturday evening. The starters and mains you can choose as little or as much as you want, soups were bought first, followed by various small plates and then crispy duck. This was followed by a selection of main courses so we all could try a bit of something. The food was very good and served politely and respectfully. One of the staff members even bought out a cake with a candle for my dad which we thought was a lovely touch. We were all very happy with the food and with the service.

Came here for meal out with hubby after visiting the sister restaurant in Norton and found it delightful in both food and service. However we found Bucknall china really strange...and empty! The staff are so uncommunicative its unreal, other than the English waitress who was lovely and seemed embarrassed by the attitudes of the other staff. Despite this the food is excellent and good value for money. We have occasionaly used it since for takeaways (you have to pick up yourself which is fine for us as we are local), but the rudeness of the staff remain...a little pleasantness and a please and thank you goes a long way. I would never take a group of my friends there because I would be embarrassed by the reception they would get from the staff. I don't know why this still hasn't been addressed as it's the same complaint that runs through the majority of the reviews on here!

A great little place only minutes from my house, friendly staff and lovely food.Little disappointed eith the fact they take the menus away after one order of mains...not really all you can eat. This may lead to us ordering everything on the menu to prevent going hungry....which then may lead to a lot of waste food.A nice place, will go again but the process needs to change.

Booked Bucknall China as friends had been and raved about it and we wanted to go to somewhere special for a birthday party. We arrived before the others to put the balloons on the table and had a drink, the wine was disgusting so only had the one, not like me at all.The taste of the food was ok, don't appreciate having the plates and dishes more or less thrown onto the table. Not having been before didn't know how it worked so thought you ordered more after you had eaten your main if you wanted to but the menus had been taken away and were told to help ourselves to dessert.

Went here as a last minute thing so we booked literally 10 minutes before we arrived. They fitted us in with no problem which was god. We got there and were quickly seated to a table and attended too, the person on the bar however was really miserable and didn't seem to care less. The waitress came over and took our orders but she looked so confused and didn't really know what she was doing. The food came out from the all you can eat place and it was fantastic. The food was really good and we both enjoyed it. The food was really tasty, hot and presented well. When we finished the meal we went to pay at the bar, when we got there the woman there didn't even acknowledge us until I spoke to her. She just said the amount we had to pay and didn't even say please or thank you either. I was absolutely shocked at this. Its such a shame as the food was gorgeous, its just shame about the staff who couldn't care less.

Firstly, the positives.....we went with a party of 22 and the food was ok (not bad, just average) and came out quickly after ordering, The negatives....This is a strange all you can eat, it's not a buffet you order from a menu as much as you like. But you are made to feel embarrassed if they think you are ordering too much and they question you to check it's just for you. All the staff but one were miserable, never smiled, no pleases or thank you when serving at the bar. The staff passed you your plates and didn't place them in front of you, one of our group burnt there fingers when passed a plate as it was so hot. Another had ordered a pint and held there hand out to take the drink and the staff member placed it on the table by there hand, very rude!!!There are other similar all you can eat Chinese's in Stoke on Trent around the same price that offer much better value and service.Would possibly go again but not if I had a choice, we only went as it was a family members birthday and the food was nothing special.

Found this restaurant by chance while staying in Stoke to go to Alton Towers. Lovely food and very friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed our meal so much that we left Alton towers an hour earlier the second night to make a return visit. Once again a lovely meal and staff were very good with very hungry teenage son who ate his way through the menu. Restaurant and facilities were spotless. Obviously didn't eat in BBQ/hotpot restaurant, but have to say we could not smell any smoke/fumes coming through to main restaurant and anyway, what sort of person would want to wear clothes two days running and not wash them - not the sort of person I want to sit next to. We did not pay for tap water - it was supplied free in a jug and more brought to table when it was empty and the drinks were reasonably priced. Great Time - thanks- shame we don't live closer.

Very happy with the food however the service was not satisfactory from the Chinese staff as I did not feel they understood English very well and their manners left a lot to be desired. The English girl working there was especially helpful and I would recommend eating there when she is on shift.

I have just come on this page and it has annoyed me a little bit I work at this place and I agree on most points that people have said especially about the customer service but about the other people who work there but I try my best to make every single customer happy who comes into this restaurant maybe if you come on a day that I'm working you will change your mind not to sound big headed or anything but it's upset me a little bit I just hope people don't look at this and think oh I'm not going there because you don't know what it's like by just going off someone's opinion just come down and see I'm happy to tell you the days that I work so you will have good customer service so please come down and try it I will try my best to make every customer happy and feel comfortable!

I went to this restaurant twice in this month because of group gathering and my friend's birthday. The most attracting features of this restaurant is the BBQ/hotpot which is quite rare in our town. However we suffered from unhappy experiences after each visit......Firstly, the ventilation system here is not good. If you go you should be prepared to wash your clothes you are wearing after visit as even after two or three days my t-shirt is still having a smokey smell. If you cannot bear the sooty environment, better avoid this and not to go.Secondly, the drinks here is even more expensive than a pub. It costs £1 per pint if you require tap water. Also the price is unclear and misleading too. In the menu it says the price of soft drinks and juices are £1.5 but do not mention the size. Some of my friends and I ordered two because of such a cheap price. When it came to bill payment, the outcome was that we were charged for £3 per glass of drink we ordered. And the waiter said the price of £1.5 was for small glass only. But the menu also stated that the bottled drinks would cost £3 at the same time. Then why did you give me the large pint when we pointed to the menu and made an order? What is the point behind this? I understand you want to recover the cost of all-you-can-eat food and this is the open secret of buffer restaurants in the UK. But how come you can tricked us like this? This the main point that I decided not to come again.

Must try out their hotpot/BBQ buffet ! Delicious and very tasty indeed ! The price and service is also good, as you can eat-all-you-want ! I've been a few times now so I would highly recommend this place to anyone ! They also have karaoke at the back with simple group games etc. :D

I have been to this place a few times with my friends since it recently opened, we usually go to Norton China, the sister restaurant a few miles further afield.The food is tasty and there is always plenty to try, I recommend the duck pancakes, the chicken satay sticks and the prawn toast!Having said that the format of the restaurant doesn't quite work somehow. You order your food by ordering from a menu, like a traditional restaurant, the portion sizes are standard. The trouble comes when there is a big group and they usually bring out everything for the starters, whether you ordered it or not. Once you have ordered your starters the menus are all taken away and then brought back out for the mains. This has never been a bad experience but it just wastes time, they should just leave the menus and then come back to take your mains order and desert.When you order your mains it is more individualised but you can share your dishes if you want. As you are going along you have to keep in mind the portion sizes, for example if you had some chicken satay and enjoyed the first piece and then decided to order some more, just make sure you are asking for it for yourself or they will bring enough for everyone which can lead to wasted food and a feeling of awkwardness.But don't let this put you off, if you enjoy a selection of food and don't mind paying a little bit more for it then this place is fine. The portion sizes are a little more accommodating for groups than for a couple (you may just get one piece of prawn toast each) so invite a few mates and head there.

A renovated pub that is tiled to the ,max. The shiny ones in the restuarant are treacherous if you've got wet shoes from a snowy night....There's no protection from the icy blasts coming in the front door every time it's opened and unfortunately they seem to have stored the red wine outside in sub zero temperatures. A request for a room temperature one was met with a blank stare and we just popped it on the radiator for a bit - unfortunately this didnt do anything for the lack of depth, tannin or quality.. The house white was tasteless - avoid. The wine list is awful. Service is a mixed experience.The food is hot and frshly cooked and not left in trays like the normal buffet. Unfortunately it's bland.Not unusual for mass market chinese, particularly in this price range. It's ok, no more no lessThey do seem to sell authentic food though, there's a flyer in chinese characters, maybe worth a try and see if the staff can translate to English.

Stoke is full of bargain eateries. This one is OK but not very great to my mind. Nothing wrong with the food if you like basic take away type Chinese food Rather pinched portions and "flat" service. Some softer lighting and textiles would help.

Standard buffet menu like all others. The starters are good but the mains can be pretty bland however the dishes are prepared to order and are served hot. Bottled Chinese beer is excellent.

I have visited here on a number of occasions but most recently went last night, the food was fresh and very tasty, there is so much selection, the prawn toast was quite possibly the best iv ever tasted!!

I have visited this restaurant a few times and have never been dissapointed, my daughter and I particually like the king prawn curry!!

all you can eat menu at a very reasonable price, and excellent food. our group had prawn crackers, soup, mixed starters and duck pancakes, all piping hot and very good. plenty of choice for main course and a variety of rice and noodles. desserts not very good - jelly ice cream, marshmallows, tinned peaches and pineapple, choc gateau.... give it a miss.service was pleasant and prompt. atmosphere ....sadly we were the only diners, the surroundings were clean and had attractive elements, (lighting, cleverly folded serviettes) but overall seemed lacking something - its an old refurbished pub and although completely modernised, it has no soul!I would go again for the food,

Buffet all you can eat £15.99 per head , waiter service just ask and they served all that you wanted. This was for a special double birthday, the food was good and the service alright although the young lad who served us was in his first week or just nervous and kept bringing other tables orders. The atmosphere was like a transport cafe that was overcrowded and spoilt the night and for four with a drink each came to £70 odd so not a cheap night. Not a place for couples or a family meal as smaller groups are put in one end and sqeezed in. The main area which is open and used for the larger parties would be the best option, but alas for us not a return visit .
