Found this place a few months ago and loved it but tonight the food had clearly been rushed! Beef chow mein dry and had no flavour. And salt and pepper chips were plain. It was 22:20 when I ordered so they must just leave out any flavouring to get out quicker. Disappointed.

I can't fault the quality of the food. Good menu with new meals that I have not seen anywhere else.

We order from here regularly, ordered tonight @9.45 .. the food was dry not warm.. I payed &8.00 for 2 potions of chips and they looked and tasted like they had been cooked multiple times.. hard and both potions went in the bin… Very disappointed what a waste of £25.00

I went here on a recommendation from a friend, I was so disappointed when the food came , the chicken balls were all soggy batter. turn the heat up on your fryer or use less batter, sorry I used to work in a chip shop , the chips were perfect, chicken curry was gloopy although it was very tasty , the sweet and sour sauce tasted like chemicals and the rice was dry , sadly the menu they sent to me will go in the bin .

Had house special chow mein and king prawn balls delivered tonight first time in a while .won't be having again .chow mein dry and tastesless ,the duck in it was dry and hard and the king prawn balls were soggy not crispy .spent over £21 and very disappointed as we have had many times and was always loveley but really awful meal .I rang to let them know that the meal was not good and was told what do you want me to do about it .no sorry !!! I won't be ordering again customer service terrible arguing with me that there was sauce in the chow mein .I think the pictures show no sauce

never had bad food from here, just had the salt & pepper chicken wings as we hadn’t tried them before and wow 👌🏻😁 the salt and pepper shredded beef is a favourite and there hot & sour soup is amazing.

Recommended from a friend , not used them for a while ., As not great reviews, so ordered one 2nd September 2023 , not great food was bland ....still the same really , stick to " lotus blossom " in future. Spent nearly £15 ....& They couldn't even be bothered to put any prawn crackers in !!! Sad !!!

Very disappointing. House special chow main, tiny pieces of meat, overcooked. It was a bowl of mush. The broccoli was so soggy it stained the noodles Green. Never again. The only got a 1 because the chips were edible. The chow main was definitely a zero and went into the bin.

This is the best food weve ever tasted,the staff are excellent very good maners and prompt delivery we are very impressed with the service,we love Wangs theyre second to none,Highly recommended.

Excellent chinese takeaway in chell heath. Never had a bad meal and always arrives on time and piping hot. Think they have the red bull pit stop crew cooking there it is regularly 15 mins from order to knocking on door. Excellent delivery service and always piping hot. Keep up the great work.

Unfortunately my first experience with this place is not a positive one. I ordered chow main. I've no idea what I received . Chicken balls were hard. Spring roll not cooked. Money wasted

Just moved to the area. Chosen Wangs based on food safety rating. Everything was clearly heated up in a microwave. Curry was cold and thick in the middle and burning m/watery on the edges. Chips appeared reheated. Salt and pepper squid was soggy and more akin to fat rind than squid - doused in oil with a bunch of onions and maybe 4 slices of pepper. Honestly without a doubt the worst takeaway I’ve ever had. Wouldn’t be shocked if they bought those pre packed super market takeaways and just microwaved and delivered - would probably improve the food. Genuinely, no hyperbole used.

Had sausages, chips and gravy. Sausages were OK as was gravy but the chips were so bad even the dog wouldn't eat them

I wasn't very impressedat all. The chips were vile and went in the bin. The chicken curry wasn't very nice. The fried rice was OK. But had no egg in it. The plain noodles were fine. Won't be ordering from here again. A waste of 15 quid.

I once seen them chasing my dinner down with a knife while it barked at them. Sad to say I wasn't satisfied with the red lipstick on my plate!

ordered 2x chicken balls sweetn sour 1x pork balls sweet n sour.. arrived cold.. rang up didnt want to know.. spent over 20 quid not even a free bag of prawn crackers given .. gone down hill.. an expensive... wont be using again.. batter was rubber...

Cold and bland food ordered duck chow main and it was Grose cold chewy boiled duck with absolutely no taste noodles tasted like a fish stock i had it delivered rang the take away to complain about the food taste and I was told to deal with it and not to order again shocking tasteless food and even worse customer service avoid it don't waste your time and money

1st time i use this take away and i was very impressed with it ..like how they put what going in the food on the menu ..cooked well to looks fresh very pleased

Early opening from 4.30pm which worked really well for the type of day we had had. The staff were friendly and the environment was very clean. It was great to be able to see the staff cooking the food freshly to order. Both the staff were well presented, clean and tidy cooking, an extra person was hovering around the kitchen, who entered from outside, not appropriately dressed and was allowed to bag the food up which we felt wasn’t a good reflection on their service. We ordered Roast pork chinese style ( that contained no extra vegetables which was disappointing), sweet and sour king prawns in batter ( the ends of which were a little rubbery in places), mixed curry, bold rice and fried rice. Overall it was reasonably priced and an ok takeaway.

Been 3 times and the 1st and 2nd time were really nice but was disappointed with the last order just no where near the same flavours..... not sure if there's more than 1 chef?, or the chef had a off day!....

Great Chinese food and have had many a great meal here. The salt and pepper spare ribs are fantastic as is the Singapore chow mein.

First time I have ordered from here, I can safely say it will be my last!! First they only delivered part of my order so had to phone them back up as this was my sons food they had forgot! As for the "food" the curry sauce was lumpy and thick, reminded me of mushy peas! Chicken balls were bland & tasteless. Waste of money as no one in my family really ate their food!!

Absolute worldy! Food arrives hot and fresh and tasty every single time! The best chinese weve ordered from by far. Delivery drivers are very polite and friendly and when ive been to pick it up so are the owners. Highly recommended.

OK, so I get that the woman who runs Wang's can come across as somewhat abrupt but she is one of the hardest working and most focused owners I have ever seen. The food is fresh and interesting, I'd like there to be a bit more heat in the hot dishes myself but I don't have an issue with sprinkling on some extra chili flakes when I get home. Superb value food and always consistent. That's what I'm looking for in a Chinese takeaway and these guys (and gal) always hit the mark. There are so many other Chinese takeaways in the area that one by one they have let me down one way or another and so I end up thinking why bother trying to find somewhere different when I have Wang's down the road??

I have NEVER EVER dealt with such a rude individual in all my life!!!! We ordered nearly 2 hours ago and called 30 minutes ago to see where the order was, only to be told nastily that the driver was on the way!!! Then tried to call back 10 times and kept putting the phone down! Unfortunately this is not a one off occasion, so you have been warned!!! DO NOT ORDER!!!!

Never had a bad meal, tonight exceptional, beautiful, owner could be a bit more friendly and polite but chef fabulous.

Terrible delivery service-refusal to leave their car and was extremely rude on the phone.Owner was also less than helpful who just ended up shouting at me when I tried to politely complain.will never use.

chinese is ok if you want a quick munch but other than that i would not recommend last meal i had was terrible food was tasteless.

Consistently one of the best Chinese takeaways I know of in the area. Whilst, in my opinion, the chilli spiced dishes could do with more chilli to make them hotter (which is something they gladly do when I remember to ask) the other dishes (I've tried many) are superb and always freshly cooked to order.

One of the best Chinese takeaways I've had the pleasure of ordering. The dim sum is amazing. All the meals that we've ordered are always full of flavour and always piping hot. If you order direct rather than just eat it's a lot cheaper to.

Great food. Delivery times are generally quite long but the food always arrives hot. If you are looking for food to be delivered in super speed then I would look elsewhere. Good meal if you are willing to wait.

Everything was great until the simplest of items like chips were missed out of my order ,meaning the delivery driver had to make another journey to get some and drop them .luckily I live around the corner If I didn't live so close this would of been a massive let down more so

The food was very tasty and the delivery time was quicker than estimated time so no complaints there. My issue is the delivery charge of £3 when they are only 3 miles away and on the menu it states £1 delivery charge in a 3 mile radius, so why was I charged £3??
