meal was over cooked. I won't be ordering from here again

whe I got my food it's was warm and was not fresh seem it was warm up in a microwave will not order form ever again

The food arrived 30 mins past the latest suggested delivery time and nearly 2 hours after our we ordered with no update or apologies from the restaurant.

The lad who delivered was polite and courteous, a credit to the restaurant! Wii use again!

lovely food as always but spent 31 pound and didn't get the prawn crackers even though was over the 20. but can't fault food at all.

Terrible food. Weird dry over salty crispy shredded beef, sauce was on the side? Not flavour to anything especially the salt and pepper chips. No prawn crackers given either. Wouldn’t order from here again

absolutely delicious and delivered more quickly than the app suggested! I had requested ASAP and it arrived ASAP. The food was hot and really tasty!

The order was cold when delivered, the crispy beef was tastless just batter, and no prawn crackers other Chinese we normally use you get a lot more value for your money and is warm and tasty

First time using Angel House while we’re staying in the area temporarily. Food was gorgeous, and delivery time good for a Saturday night. Nice friendly delivery driver as well. Generous portions, highly recommend the crab claw and pork foo young especially!

Have never had problems before but hugely disappointed today. Took almost 2hours from payment to delivery (including an update on delivery) Food was not particularly warm in comparison to previous orders. Paid £72 for the privilege. Not sure we'll order again 😞

ordered at 7ish stated that delivery would be latest would be 21:10 food finally arrived at 10:45pm, cold and inedible, went straightin the bin. won't be ordering from ever again

Opened the bag to a mess of curry sauce and black bean sauce everywhere. Rang the restaurant to be told next time you order we’ll give you free prawn crackers, spend £50 and didn’t even get any with my order. Disappointed to say the least

I had an excellent meal from here. Food was clearly fresh and well prepared the meat was so tender. The chow mein was the best I had in Lichfield. Service is friendly and price is fair.

Food was delivered in less than 15 minutes it was not fresh the onion was sprouting thrown all away I've never left a review anywhere before this place must be the worst chinese takeaway in lichfield it's awful ! Cold food and it's definatly not fresh !

Arrived an hour+ over the original estimated time. Appreciate it being new Year's Eve but no compensation was offered and was told on the phone after calling the first time that they would prioritize our order, but still received nothing after 40 minutes. Disappointed as this is our usual takeaway and the food is great otherwise

Dragon and Phoenix with egg fried rice was excellent. Huge prawns and plenty of chicken breast. Will deffo have again!

The food was awful. The chips were stale, the duck was all breading and the sweet and sour chicken was inedible. We had a family of 6 at the table and no one could eat it. Feel cheated out of our money.

Had king prawn and cashew nuts nuts were totally blackened and old prawns okay but only 6 no mushrooms no baby corn not worth what I paid spring rolls were not spring rolls had chicken or pork in not sure which I would never order from here again

Piping hot, fresh and absolutely delicious food. Had the satay chicken (not spicy if anyone is wondering) but so tasty, and the seseme chicken and plum. Will definitely be ordering again!

The food is usually excellent. Unfortunately a mistake was made with my order last time. My brother ordered a vegetarian sweetcorn soup. He had already eaten some when he realised that they had sent chicken and sweetcorn.

I've contacted the restaurant via email! Got bloody food poisoning! Not happy, not feeling well and very upset *update - in reply to the comment below I've got in touch with food standards, chicken was red in places and the beef was incredibly soft, very bloody in some chunks. It's not cheating to eat, its eating then realising you've been given food poisoning.

Arrived 20 minutes early, food hot and well presented, really nice food i enjoyed it, had one of the all in one meals, couldn’t eat it all so I’m sure my son will eat it when he comes home lol, delivery guy was polite and friendly. Thank you

Disappointed that the chips were missing from the order and the salt and pepper chips had very little salt and pepper. Sichuan chicken was excellent

Food was OK and served hot. curry lacked a little Heat for me but that is personal preference. Banana fritter syrup had leaked all over everything in the bag due to the cardboard sleeve having the corner cut out of it so fritters were without syrup.

the food speaks for itself... that's if you know and understand flavor.... even though there was a mistake, they quickly rectified my order.. 5⭐+

Look tonight I had a delivery for the first time that wasn’t as good as normal food is usually great. So I rang them and he sent it out again and swapped it can’t fault the place to be honest. But first time I’ve had a problem like I say banging food

I left a review over 4 years ago unhappy with the customer service but it really is one of the best take aways in lichfield and I haven’t had a bad meal there and we are huge lovers of Chinese food after ordering from most in lichfield ! Really amazing and huge portions

Ordered salt and pepper fish (delicious) Thai veggie curry (wow 5 stars 🌟) peking beef, salt and chilli chips, it was all amazing! Thank you for being the only Chinese to really cater to a pescatarian! Definitely ordering again 👌👍👍

It was our first time ordering we have ordered from many chinses places and paid less for the food the sweet and sour sauce smelt like gone off wine the pork balls were undercooked the chips was cold the crispy chicken had more loose batter in the tray then any chicken in them for the price I'm disappointed by the meal The delivery driver was very lovely and friendly

Wow, I’m astounded that Chinese food can be this poor! Yuk Sung swimming in soy sauce, unheard of. Singapore vermicelli with dried out chicken and pork. Sweet and sour sauce tasted like cherry. Chicken and noodle soup is my youngest son’s favourite and he couldn’t eat it. I could go on but nothing was even acceptable. I can only commend them for ruining my birthday dinner. WELL DONE YOU!

The seaweed was in edible, the amount of sugar on it literally hurt my teeth. The prawn toast was so dripping oil and the chips were dry as though they were reheated.

Just had a very expensive but disappointing take away. The delivery driver rang the doorbell and left the food on the floor outside & the dim sum combo looked and tasted as if reheated from another day. We have used Angel House many times and so far it’s been great but this was not a great experience

Black bean sauce is to die for with the satay sauce close behind. Great veggie options
