The best restaurants serving Chinese food in West Midlands

Las papas fritas eran finas y secas, el pollo duro e insípido y el arroz frito (marrón!) estaba seco e insípido El buñuelo de piña estaba empapado y mojado No recomendaría o utilizaría este lugar de nuevo

Poor prawns inedible in fact shope wanted me to leave my house and return prawns for a refund but I couldn't get there so no refund

Unfortunately I ordered a take away so my family could enjoy a nice meal once my wife return home from an exhausting day. The order was accepted, and via an app was told it was on its way. It never arrived, but rather than apologising and offering to sort and make sure my family received the order, they just told me it had been deceived and then kept hanging up on me when I started to complain. In the end they claimed it was my word against theirs; obviously not understanding my rights and their responsibility. I have now submitted a refund but my family has been left hungry and upset by the incident. To add insult to injury when I asked to speak to the owner they refused and hung up again, obviously more interested in stealing our money than having a satisfied customer.

Been a while so thought would try again , food just horrible , frozen chips that stick in your throat , all dishes we’re so full of sugar and a cloying fat it made us sick , never again

Absolutely the best Chinese takeaway in bridgnorth always excellent food and service and bigger portions than others don't bother with the rest go to the best

Very rude and nasty young female staff not bad food but staff as that bad and rude/nasty I won’t be back which is sad as older manager is nice lady shame what happens when she’s is not anoit

I love this takeaway due to it's traditional feel. The food is acceptable but the price is a lot cheaper than other Chinese's. Lovely couple that run it too.

We ordered via the website and received the wrong order. The mains were meant to be a chicken curry, a prawn curry and crispy shredded beef. What we got was two prawn curry and a Szechuan beef dish. We tried to log back into the website but couldn’t log in. I tried to change the password to get back in to the order but the website would not work !? I called and spoke to the shop and they read out the order as had been delivered. We DEFINITELY ordered correctly but because they had down the wrong order they said they could not do anything. We will never order here again. The food we had wasn’t even nice and the starter meal was almost cold. Big disappointment.

Decent takeaway food-wise but on a Saturday it’s almost impossible to get them to answer the phone. It just rings out. You try again and it’s busy. Try again, it rings out. This evening I’ve tried them 10 times without success trying to place a large order. Literally giving up on these people and taking our business elsewhere. Message to the takeaway…..GET MORE STAFF!!!

If you follow my reviews, this is my third in a week - one 5*, one 4* and sadly this is a 2* Our son was visiting and he wanted to get a takeaway here as it reminded him of when he used to get food here 20 years ago. Great service - we telephoned the order and collected 15 minutes later at what we thought was a very reasonable price. Let's review the dishes Teryaki Chicken - definitely the best of the bunch. Very enjoyable. Dry ribs - fried to crispness. Almost inedible as they we so well cooked Chilli Ribs - again very overcooked so dry and tough Beef and black bean and green pepper sauce - enjoyable although beef was a bit chewy but for some unknown reason all the peppers were red. Didn't spoil the taste Singapore rice noodles - a big lump of noodles with 4 small prawns, 2 bits of chewy pork, 2 small bits of chicken and a few onions and carrots thrown on top. No attempt to mx the "bits" into the noodles. Mostly went in the bin. Sweet & Sour Pork - the worst of all. Very tough chewy pork in thick batter served with a lump of gelatinous sauce - no kidding it came out of the pot in one lump. We all tried it and it went in. the bin. Prawn crackers - HUGE bags enjoyed by all. In summary we may have made some poor menu choices but definitely stay away from the sweet and sour pork and the ribs. We'll be going back to China City in Ombersley where we've never had a bad meal

Today we went for the Prawn Wonton soup and were rewarded beyond expectation! Service was excellent and more main dishes included the Black Bean Beef and the totally white boy sweet and sour pork which we are not ashamed to order.

Last time we used the Hong Kong house the food was really good, but not good this time. I had a duck with mushrooms and when I opened up to eat struggled to find any duck, the few bits I found were dry and tasteless. The dish was really mushrooms carrots and onions. So we won’t be returning

Never had a bad takeaway from here and we use them almost every week. Alway hot and tasty. Staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Would t use any other Chinese. No need to

To be very clear, I am reviewing the Leicester Square branch as they don't appear to have their own page. This place is absolutely awful. We walked in, said hello, requested our order and the woman at the till had the most disgusting attitude. Not once did she look at me from under her baseball cap, she barked the chosen waffle didn't have ice cream and despite me requesting vanilla, i found when receiving the order she didn't listen. I asked for a small waffle only to be barked at that they only have large. There was no please or thank you, and the till was slammed in temper. Once we got the order the ice cream was salted caramel. But my son, knowing I was agitated by her attitude decided it was likely best I didn't complain. When being barked at that the order was ready, they didn't even offer a spoon. Whilst sat eating, the woman in the baseball was constantly slamming around and the atmosphere was awful. As she got up to go behind the scenes she gave me the most disgusting look and slammed the door. If it wasn't for my 14 year old son waiting ages to try the waffle, I would have happily left it on the counter and left. We did in fact just get up and walk out. When we did walk out I realised it was only one flavour of ice cream uncovered so she clearly put through what she wanted to use it up as it was nearing the end of the day. I dont understand how someone can have so much attitude over what was a bog standard waffle. So whoever she was in the baseball cap, she is vile and should not be allowed to serve customers. We sure as hell won't go back and I really do hope she receives a wake up call soon. Never again.
