Very rude and nasty young female staff not bad food but staff as that bad and rude/nasty I won’t be back which is sad as older manager is nice lady shame what happens when she’s is not anoit

Always previously had lovely takeaway food but last night we were very disappointed. The spares ribs were very chewey and almost impossible to eat. The crispy beef was soggy and the lemon chicken was slightly unpleasant. We normally pick our food up at about 6.30. However, yesterday we decided to eat early - about 5.15 - they open at 5.00. The food felt like leftovers from the previous day.

Total waste of money. Absolutely rubbish food. Won't go there again. Everything tasted stale and it was all dry as old boots

Ordered 4 meals was ready in 5 mins. Not surprised all of them were awful. Nearly £40 to put in the bin.

Had a takeaway last night, huge portions that I ended up still being full this morning. It was lovely

Collected meal this evening ,travelled back home only to find the wrong food ,did eat some of it but it was very greasy,I no I should of taken it back but I live three miles from town.very dissatisfied

Absolutely beautiful food. The salt & pepper chilli king prawns are just amazing! Beef in black bean sauce is also a firm family favourite. We have yet to find a dish we don’t we like!

Very bad food ,the fried rice has a burning smell And chicken ball cook to hsrd ,very disappointing and not as good as commented.

I bought chicken chow mein for two.The containers were full of noodles, a few bamboo shoots and onion . No other veg in it so I can't get very excited over this meal.Probably won't go there again,sorry.

This takeaway does the usual Chinese takeaway staples and also some Thai dishes. Everything was cooked really well, ready in 5 minutes and the portions were HUGE. It is hidden away on the eastern edge of Ludlow (just off the A49) but worth seeking out. Overall a very good experience, I recommend it! No website, see photos of the menu.

The food is always really quick and always tastes great never had a bad meal definitely the best one in Ludlow!

We were amazed at the full waiting room and realised what a popular place this is. The menu is exensive, the service very quick, and the servings enormous. We'll be back.

The food was great, definitely worth 5 stars- and the money. The service was impeccable, greeted by a lovely young lady who definitely deserves a pay rise! Very professional staff, and quick and easy food service. I’m impressed!

Great food and great price. What is exceptional about this restaurant is the speed....I wish they were slower...I only get to about page 5 of the daily paper before its ready.

Quick service, convenient location with parking, good value for money. As with most of these places it could have a few more vegetables in the meals.

Whilst staying at a travelodge and experiencing a bad meal for two consecutive nights at the Squirrel restaurant located next to it we did some research online and found this great little Chinese take away which was within walking distance. What a find! lovely food, really fresh with crunchy veg and very tasty dishes, you can tell they take pride in what they cook for their customers, no wonder it was so busy.

so nice to come back here. always excellent food. served fast even considering how busy it is... i love my chinese food and this is one of the best i have had. again worth the 400 mile trip...keep it up guys...

Pensamos que este lugar, fue y ordenados y todo estaba bien. Luego nos fuimos a recoger el pedido y fue entonces confrontados con una mujer gritaba diciendo que tenía que pagar un extra de £2. 40 como el chico no nos cobraron por él (ya habíamos pagado) así que dije que está mal y me tuve que ir hasta el punto efectivo para conseguir algo de dinero entonces ella comenzó a gritar que sólo cuesta 2 debe tener dos libras. Después de conducir hasta el punto efectivo que caminamos en la comida y todavía estaba sentado en el mostrador y ella tiró las fichas en mí. Luego intentó cobrarme de nuevo por toda la comida! ! ! Nunca jamás volveremos! ! ! ! ! ! !

Oriental City is our first choice for Chinese takeaway. The food is always great and we've never yet received any issues with our food, so cannot complain. Decent waiting times, never seem to be very long to wait for our order.

Always good here, the food has never taken longer than 15 mins even on the weekend, definitely recommend!

i come to ludlow 3 times a year and the highlight is getting my friday and suday takeaway. it is simply fantastic. fast. quality ingredients. and it aint expensive. lovely staff too.. always a pleasure... triple crown or 4 seasons dishes are mouthwatering....

Very polite young lady behind the counter. And that was a massive difference from the takeaway I had from a different Chinese last week. I recommend the duck in plum sause. Chicken balls we cooked beautifully as was the whole meal. As take away food goes, that was right up there!

Was staying in the Travelodge in Ludlow Wooferton and fancied getting a Chinese for tea, luckily had researched online before we came away so I knew where we could get one from. Arrived about 8pm one evening and ordered our meal from the nice lady behind the counter who was very friendly. Had about a 10 minute wait for it to be cooked, then we took it back to the hotel where I must say it was really enjoyable. I had special fried rice and chips which was very tasty.

We often purchase a meal for 2 and it feeds 4 people. Beef or Chicken Satay or Chow Mein are also favourites, portions are large.

Do note, this is a takeout unit, not a restaurant. But if you're looking for good quality Chinese takeout food, served speedily and with a smile, look no further. Hidden away a bit, but well worth seeking out. Now on our list of regulars!

Loads better than the Chinese in town.

Just spent £30 on a Chinese that has gone in the bin! Even the prawn crackers were inedible! Tasteless, dry and all tasted 'funny'. Last time we'll be visiting.

We use the takeout on a regular basis. The food is hot, tasty and good value for money. Always a good end to a busy week, along with a glass on wine.

Me and a couple of friends ordered from here instead of the local in town. It was OK at best, the food was hot but everything had a sort of funny taste with too much salt. The prawn crackers tasted different than I've ever had before and they're usually similar wherever you go. The chips also had a green tinge to them which were off-putting. I would try the food again to see if it was a one off though.

Having been disappointed with the offerings from local Chinese takeaways I thought I would try Oriental City. Clean and modern with friendly helpful staff.
