Really good Chinese takeaway! Had been recommended by a friend but was a little hesitant as some poor reviews but largely complaining about the price. It isn't super cheap but I found the value for money to be good. Fresh ingredients and decent portions. Pork Yuk Sung a particular highlight. Will definitely be back. FYI cash only.

Just order 3 egg fried rice Chicken curry Sweet sour chicken balls Chips Vegetable spring rolls Chicken chow mein Prawn toast £45.20p 😮 think this is way to over priced food was not the best hardly any chicken in the curry rice was like mush 4 samall piece of prawn toast used this restaurant quite a few times but will no longer sad times as i know prices of everything has gone up but when quality gose down how are we ment to be happy enjoying our meal you lost customer though gread.

Usually the food here has been delicious We’ve been regularly customers for years however the last couple of takeaways have been enough to put us off The chips are awful There dry cold tough and horrible taste The sauces have been watered down a lot and thickened with cornflour also tasteless Please go back to the way you were

Completely messed up the food order. Despite repeating my order when I collected the food ,when I got home I found it to be something different that I did not like. I won't be going again.

Been ordering a chinese takeaway from Lee Fung for a couple of years now and we love their food. The Singapore chowmein is delicious, chicken balls and their chips! My partner loves the deep fried chicken. We don’t go anywhere else now and they deliver for a reasonable price! 100% recommend!

Just had a takeaway from here as our usual Chinese is closed. Most was inedible, 1 piece of duck and the rest was fat, beef chow mein was mostly fat and gristle, and Cantonese sweet and sour chicken was dry. Needless to say we won't be going back again.

I’ve always had great food up until last night. The food itself at the time tasted fine, but I have hardly been able to move today with food poisoning. A friend who’d had the same dish as me has also been Ill today. I’ve hardly been able to manage as much as a plain cracker today. Usually absolute brilliant food but I can’t forgive how I’m currently feeling 🤢 Unfortunately I won’t be returning. Put me off of Chinese food altogether at the moment 😤

This is a takeaway outlet not a restaurant. We had a meal for two from there on 16th April and it was disgusting. Will never use it again. The food was cold and glutinous and there were about 5 nuts in the chicken with cashews. It was also expensive. You would get a far better Chinese meal from M&S for less than half the price we paid.

Really Disappointed gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back again second time food was worse than the first chicken in the chow mien rock hard and tough kids chicken balls were burnt and hard the chicken chop suey I emptied it out of the container on the the plate and it just kept the shape of the container a complete congealed mess staff are polite but food is terrible will not be returning

20 minutes late.nearly cold.steak so tough my steak knife would not cut it.veey poor.

Horrendous meal, used to have a meal from there every wk about 10 yrs ago but moved away so thought we.d give them ago as we were near by. Chips were so hard almost broke my tooth, flat and rock hard ,meat was tough and chewy, will never have another from there...

A disgrace, I got told 1 hour for delivery, 3 hours later not even a call. Please if you don’t want my order or cannot for fill it tell me and I could have gone elsewhere, didn’t even have the courtesy to call me, so we ended up not eating

Food was nice, really tasty and ready quickly. Only grip is they don’t take card. Closes cash machine is about 1km down the road. It’s 2021 get a card reader!

Had a lovely meal called in on the way back one of the best Chinese meals I had highly recommended

Amazing, this is without doubt the best Cantonese I have tried - no need to look any further! Staff always welcoming and friendly. Generous portions, wide ranging menu and I love the Duck pancakes.

Terrible food! Chow main was bland and the vegetables tasted cold and raw. They also gave me a dish that tasted nothing like special fried rice. When calling them to tell them of my disappointment they acted surprised and unwilling to rectify any of their mistakes. Stay well away! These guys are the worst I’ve ever ordered from.

Had a takeaway from here last night (first one for years) and it was as good as l remembered. Friendly lady at the end of the phone, delivery was spot on, and as l said the food was delicious, best Chinese in Shrewsbury!

Have always rated Lee Fung as the best Chinese takeaway in Shrewsbury... but this is the second time food was not not up to scratch. Tonight's being the worst. Food arrived late (forgiveable as very popular) but stone cold. Chips re heated. Curry chicken full of fat , skin etc. & beef stringy gristle . Chow mein stodgy and inedible . So very disappointed. Staff generous with £5 discount off next meal, but doubt I'll be ordering again. apologies for negative feedback, but necessary!

We have used this Chinese numerous times and the food has always been excellent. If you like Chinese food give it a try.

The food is good, cheap, ready in 20 minutes. When the dish arrives you think: "Wow, this is a small dish" But like a small diamond it is compact and satisfies every woman P.S. They only accept cash (pounds and not NIS)

The food is Delicious from here. We always order from here. Just had a take away now and it was piping hot. Very pleased. Great service as always. Thank you.

Good food and friendly staff. Very busy when I was waiting, the phone never stopped ringing and there were others waiting too. Worth the short 10 minute wait though.

Little bit of a wait, but as a vegetarian, they do some awesome dishes. Customer service is good and have take out as well as collection from Lee Fung House. Very good options on many different types of noodles and all cooked fresh. Recommend the BBQ sauve they do!

I lived locally 15-13 years ago and it was without question the best takeaway in town..so all these years later I decided to give lee fung house another go over my now regular and local takeaway..plus points,good telephone and delivery service,but that’s it..soggy and measly portion of king prawns chilli and salt,nearly any cooking of the vegetables and greasy and bland...sweet and sour pork balls which were obviously left over char Sui pork and rock hard..over cooked chips and the curry chewy beef..dry chicken,soggy mushrooms and I could name the sauce!! I’m disappointed as I really wanted to enjoy this after all the years but it was awful..go back in time lee fung house and reboot..oh and the prices!!

Ordered from here many times and can't fault them! Always been lovely food! I'd recommend anyone to give these guys a try!

Service to slow ,and now small portions,time to move on .

We ordered a meal for a special family occasion and waited 2 hours for it and never came. We called them twice and both times they just said the delivery driver was on his way. After an hour and a half, we told them we wanted £20 taken off the bill for the inconvenience which they agreed to but the food still didn’t arrive. In the end we cancelled our order. They gave no apology. Very poor service and spoiled our evening.

Chicken chow mein, as dry as dry could be, sweet and sour balls, absolutely vile, would never recommend..... Full stop 🛑

Lee Fung House has always been my favourite Chinese takeaway in Shrewsbury. The meals are always delicious, tasty and piping hot. Delivery service is always very fast too.

I've been coming here for years. Tonight we were really really disappointed with the special chow mein (dry, hardly any meat and just gross) so we called up to let them know hoping to just get it changed. The lady was so rude; not interested at all in what we had to say and got quite defensive. I'm gutted because I used to love this place but we won't be coming back.

Slightly expensive chinese take away... But not the best!! duck very dry & chilli & salt ribs, not like ive ever had before.. Maybe just a bad day at the office.. Only used as my local is closed on Tuesday..

It is my local Chinese takeaway but I've tried lots and this one really is the best. Only negative is their crispy duck needs to be more crispier. It was better when they used to serve it on the bone and not pre sliced (better when you shred it yourself)

Idiots. I ordered food for delivery at 18.45. at 19.30 I called them and asked if it was possible to get this delivery. They repeated my number, correctly, and said they hadn't been able to call me. My address is 2 blocks from their place. I had to ask 5 times if it was possible to get the food, and the only thing the idiot woman answered was that she hadn't been able to call me. Not "yes, you can have it in 20 minutes" or "no, we do not deliver to people we can't call". I slowly raised my voice wanting to know if I could get food as per the order. The only thing she repeated was that she hadn't been able to call me. Not why this was important, not if I could get any food today. Never ever using these idiots again. What else have their limited brains gotten wrong? I ordered from Regent Garden next doors and service and food was excellent

Lovely food and you can tell it's freshly cooked. Our experience is a fast delivery but we might have been lucky, I can imagine they would get busy. No complaints here! :)

Best in town. Not greasy like all the others. They are so good be prepared to wait a while as they are so busy.
