Been going here for years excellent food staff so friendly and food is always delicious and hot never had any problems in probably 30 years

Nice looking place, had a few bits of metal bits in my chicken curry and many bones, otherwise tasted great. (Taste is probably a 4.5 had to knock it down a bit since my mouth got a bit cut up with the metal) Good portion size for the price

I've tried most if not all chinese take aways in the area and always keep going back to New Kee as the food is lovely especially the curries and Singapore chow mein etc. Only downfall is no delivery but when collecting there's always someone there collecting or another walks in while you are collecting so very busy and popular speaks volumes always 30+ years I've been delighted with the quality food produced here and good portions also nicely priced too Service always pleasant and respectful Excellent Chinese Take Away, if not the best around

Im.sat here with 2 disgruntled females reading the terrible reviews , they were planning on getting absolutely hammered tonight and its ruined their new years eve . I personally have only ever had the curry n chips trays but was too drunk to give an honest review. They want their new years calender:) Ps what happened to the little old lady always in the window sat in her wheelchair i miss her

Telephone order and its ready to collect in 15 minutes, two meals that is. i have been ordering from here since it opened in 1982! The prices are very competitive to surrounding area chinese . The meals are tasty and filling. The food is packed well to keep it warm. Superb! NB This is shop is a takeaway.

The staff are friendly and there is plenty of choice as you would expect in a chinese take away. The food is ok and blows away the other nearest Chinese, which is not difficult to be fair. There are better Chinese though in the area and the chips are just ok. Not recommended its just ok.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Beef curry is like water and taste like bad grease with no meat. Egg fried rice with basically no egg. Called before to ask if they had salt and pepper chicken which they confirmed and then gave us a wet dish not dry which is NOT what we wanted. Burnt spring roll. Dry chicken. Noodles disgusting and dry. 4 oeople heavily disappointed with food.

been going here since a little girl i am so angry they don’t know the difference between pork and chicken how is chinese style chicken a dish that comes as pork i don’t eat pork this has made me very ill will never use again needs shutting down

Ived lived in Halesowen off long Lane for over 20 years and this is by far the best chinese takeaway. Fantastic food, large portions, large selection and they will always do your own special or make it "hot" to meet your taste. Just ring and collect 30 minutes later. Situated just off shell island on the way to blackheath... Try it trust me you won't be disappointed and the prices are very reasonable. Thanks adrian

Chicken curry fried rice was vile compared to competitors like eatwise. Chicken was vile and mushrooms too.

I have used this Chinese restaurant since i was about 8 years old its taste has good now has it did years ago love the chips which are not frozen they are real potatoes my favourite is the number 50 try it it’s so nice

Very poor food we had sweet and sour with pork fried rice witch as wet with no rice there was more bean sprouts the rice with 2 pieces sliced pork on top of it it all went in the bin had no flavour

We've been visiting this takeaway for too many years to remember. The food never disappoints. We especially enjoy the curries and chow mein dishes.

When imoved to Rowley Regis in 1996 i got my takeaway from here,and many more time and still as goog today as it was then i have moved about and had many chinese meals but still when am about i alway go there.

Good food good value 3rd generation I have been using it 30 years recommend to anyone wholes Chinese food quality at a very reasonable priced

Absolutly discusting! Ordered chicken curry and egg fried rice. Ended up in bin. The rice was over cooked and sticky. Chips looked refried from last month. The chicken curry was oil with mushrooms and a couple over cooked stringy chicken. Gave my plate to my dad who loves mushrooms. Hkwever even he couldnt eat it. Avoid like the plauge. Never again

The most FABULOUS thing about this Chinese Takeaway is that it is open for business at lunch times!!! This is the ONLY Takeaway (Chinese or Indian) in our immediate area that we know who opens in the daytime!! We generally order for a party of people and drop our order in the day before with instructions when we want to pick it up!! They are VERY obliging and always have our order ready for us with quite a few 'complimentary' extras as well!! They do not deliver - which is a little disappointing - but we manage as we are reasonably close to the shop. It's a pretty basic Chinese Takaway offering all the traditional dishes at reasonable prices. Some of the dishes that we have had have been the best in the local area. Definitely worth a try, lunch time or evening. I urge people to keep using it at lunch times so that they will continue to stay open for a good while to come. We are VERY HAPPY customers and will continue to use The New Kee on a regular basis.
