By far, the BEST chinese takeaway I've found since moving to Birmingham. Great tasting food, excellent service and they've even cooked me food which is not on the menu. Incredible! I've ordered well over £100 orders, and they've always got it right! So pleased to have this takeaway!! Munchbox is great! Lemon Chicken is very good!!

Jade were incredibly accommodating and SO TASTY! We rang and asked if they could do a couple of dishes that weren’t on the menu. They graciously accommodated us and charged us fairly for the items. The food was delivered early and HOT, and so so so tasty! Special mention to the Wonton Soup, the sweet and sour is actually sweet AND sour and very well balanced and every pork dish was sublime. The “munch boxes” are great for the kids / lover of beige foods. All in all an absolute winner. Thank you. Strongly recommend…

Just had food from here worst I’ve ever had chow main was just laced in grease ribs were cold and chewy Used to be a nice Chinese don’t know what’s happened I may as well of just thrown £15 in the bin Not happy !! Wanted a treat at the end of a long week 😢

Foods great however they’ve got Thai rice and fried rice mixed up couple times which has affected the experience as it’s the main thing I order. Even after repeating it back to me it sounded like they said Thai rice yet fried rice arrived. This has happened to me twice now. Their pronunciation difference between fried and thai isn’t clear. Blaming customers for ordering wrong doesn’t make sense. Why would a customer intentionally order incorrectly to then go through the hassle of chasing after the correct order. Will just read out the number on the menu instead then there’s no confusion.

Had a break, as usually order every week, due to late deliveries..Started again, rude driver, rang bell left on floor by door..Had chicken chow mein, hardly any chicken🙄

Great takeaway the salt and chilli fish is a menu highlight along with the Jade Noodle which is packed with veg.

I used to order here regularly years ago and it was amazing, must of changed owners because it's really bad now. Ordered through Uber because they had 25% off, big mistake! Food turned up 35 minutes late after 1 and a half hours, was all freezing cold, chips dry, hard, over cooked and not edible, prawn crackers stale with yellowing in patches. I'll be sticking to kungfu kitchen down the road, a million times better

Ordered via Uber Eats last night, been in hospital 2 days early this week so hadn’t had time to get any shopping in so “order in” it was. 2 hours later it still hadn’t arrived so checked on the app & they’d cancelled my order as too busy. “Too busy” to be bothered obviously. Too late to order from anywhere else so went to bed hungry. Thanks for that!!!

Best Chinese according to Jakky boy but to me I'd say a great option but definitely not the best

Contacted the restaurant as our food was over 30 minutes late, only to be told the driver had knocked our door, rang the bell and flapped the letterbox for 5 minutes before leaving as there was no answer. We have a ring door bell that didn’t detect any motion, fresh snow with no footprints, 5 people in the house and a dog that barks if someone walks past, let alone knocks the door. Refused to admit their error and pushed the blame on to us. Woman on the phone couldn’t even keep her story straight - gave the wrong house number and incorrect description of our drive/front door, but then said she’d got muddled up and the driver did give the right information when we pointed this out. She said she was ‘confused because she’s working and doing other things’ - so perhaps it was her who gave the driver the wrong address in the first place. Incredibly rude, no apology or offer to redeliver following their mistake. Best thing is we don’t even use this Chinese; it’s our back-up as our usual wasn’t delivering! Just as well I suppose as I won’t be ordering again.

First time ordering from here. Ordered only a special chow mein and collected. Quantity overall and quantity of meats was good - quite tasty. Had to add some chilli and sesame oil at home, but often do with most Chinese. One of the better Chinese takeaways I've had recently.

Waited 3hrs for food only to find things missing veg inside when requesting no veg wouldn't mind only ordered 3 items and 1 of them were chips gave free prawn crackers which were soft and stale don't think be using here again

Average Chinese food I won't rush back it's been there for years.

Preordered for 20:10 as I was at work, food was delivered at 19:00. Then when I returned from work to my food that had been sat there for over an hour, the chicken fried rice (I had requested NO veg) was full of veg. This is so annoying, I requested for both and this should have been noted! The food overall was very bland and I did not enjoy my meal tonight. Have used JADE so many times but will never be using them again after tonight.

The worst curry sauce I have ever ever tasted, no spice more sugary than anything. I could never go back after that experience.

DO NOT ORDER! Absolutely appalling service Order was three hours late, ordered 18.50, called multiple times to be told it’s on its way, by 21.40 cancelled the order and requested refund. Food shows up with half of it missing at 21.50, after us cancelling it and left at doorstep. Refused refund because “we accepted the order”.

After waiting for 2 hours for the food to arrive I would have to advise everyone to avoid at all costs!!! This was the worst £25 I have ever spent!! The food is disgusting and inedible... I would have rated 0 but you have to give at least 1*.... Put me off Chinese food for good...

Ordered from here several times, 50% good, 50% pretty dreadful. Friday had early doors, delivered at 5.15pm. I had Hong kong style king prawn sweet and sour - prawns like bullets, reckon they were from a previous days left-overs and reheated. Egg fried rice not much better. Other half had a chicken dish and duck fried rice, he said his was nice, just my luck. Usually get a 2 nd days meal out of it, but even the cats wouldn;t touch it. Will find somewhere else - if they get it so wrong there are plenty of other places to go .

This is our go-to Chinese takeaway. Food is always cooked to an exceptional quality and bursting with flavour. Delivery to your door means you don't have to venture out on that cold evening when only Chinese takeaway will do. Highly recommend Thai rice and Thai beef if you like your food spicy. 👍👍👍

Ordered a takeaway from Jade, the food was exquisite, perfectly cooked and utterly delicious. Mu daughter had chicken fried rice, in which she absolutely annihilated. Really fantastic food and even better service.

Iv been to Jade a few times since I moved to the area . The food has always been fairly average but its the closest take away to my house. Its a bit like the dark ages in there as they dont take cards the few times iv been which get annoying. Went on Sunday and they got our order totally wrong, chips looked like oven chips that were cooked 2 days ago and went to bed with a stomach ache. Not going back

Although I was not happy that delivery took 1 hr and 20 mins the food was delicious. Will order direct to the shop rather then online next time.

After 10 years of ordering food from Jade vertually every week tonight will be our last!!! The food has gone down hill over the last few months but tonight took the mick. The whole lot has gone in the bin it was not at all edible. The salt and chilli chips where pure salt, the salt an chilli king prawn was days old hard and rubbery, the young chow chow mein had no taste and had translucent shrimp in. Total waste of £27

Ordered chicken omelette and was horrified to find a sharp bone in it that cut my mouth. When i called to complain the first reaction was that he called me a liar and they dont have bones in their food and then he said i could only have a refund if i took the whole order back untouched. Unreal!!! I will not be returning here again and i would not recommend Jade to anyone. There are plenty more local Chinese takeaways in the area that know how to use their manners!! Noble house being the best!!

A good sign of a good eatery is when I use more than once which I have done. Wide range of food, quick service and the food is good and consistent.

Awful food very bland and a lot of the ingredients were raw, meat tasted very cheap. Almost all £20 of it went in the bin. Never again.

First time we ordered tonight, as we have not long moved into the area. Food came quickly but that’s the only positive. Extremely bland. Vegetables were hard, chicken rubbery. Waste of almost £20. Will not be ordering from here again.

Food was nice & hot when delivered & tasty - veg nice, fresh & crisp, only disappointment was the slat & chilli chips which were not much diff from normal chips lacking in onion & chillis which kind of defeats the object.....

The food was tasteless. The chicken in the curry didn't taste like chicken at all. The only thing that was nice was the sweet and sour chicken balls however I've had much better and will not be ordering from here again.

worst service, ordered at 19:15 actually received it at 20:45 that’s an hour and a half waiting for food from a 4 and a half star restaurant. when the food FINALLY arrived it wasn’t nice opened the lid and the sauce was that cold it looked like jelly, the noodles were cold I was not impressed.

I’m one of those people that sticks to a small number of dishes in any one cuisine, so wherever I eat or order from, I tend to stick with a safe bet. I have to say, out of all the establishments throughout the country I have eaten this particular dish at, without a shadow of a doubt, this was the best. I will be making this my go-to Chinese take-away from now on. Exquisite.

collected Chinese due to bad weather, so wasn't delivering to our area ( not there fault just gave one because first time using jade and didn't have delivery ) food was brilliant, one of the best I have had.

despite the weather when I ordered my food the restaurant rang me letting me know they may be abit later the. expected, my order expectancy was 9:50 it arrived at 9:10, I asked for a few things to be taken off but was rang to be asked if I want the other extras kept which was lovely to be asked, and then the food arrived steaming hot and delicious, the price was fine with what I ordered, hats off best place to order from, food is perfect and the service is brilliant.

Tried here as stopping in Birmingham with work during the week. Food not spectacular for me but above average - to rate as 4 star maybe a bit flattering, then again, anything less would probably be doing them a disservice. The battered chicken pieces I thought were a bit small, otherwise fairly decent sauce and veg with the main dish. Fried rice was ok, if a tad mushy. Cost I thought a bit on the high side. Might call there again, but not before trying a few other places

we ordered around £100 worth of food on Saturday evening for a party, we had an estimated time of 1hr for delivery (I didn’t expect it to come that soon) but I was very shocked when it turned up after just over one hour, especially due to it being Saturday night and also due to the size of our order so a BIG thank you!! With regards to the food, everything was piping hot, extremely tasty and large in portion size. our family were very impressed with the food too. I have eaten from many Chinese restaurants across the county and this one is one of the best. having Just moved to the area, I was apprehensive about finding a new Chinese all over again, Jade was the first one we ordered from and it did not disappoint. you now have a customer for as long as I live in the area! thank you very much! :) p.s, can I have the curry sauce recipe? BEST CURRY SAUCE EVER!!
