Regular customers here and the food is always great but today it was outstanding so thought it was worth another review! The food was perfectly cooked, ribs fell off the bone and prawns were so juicy while the veg had a nice crunch. Keep it up 5*

Absolutely awesome food. Once you have tried the food from new capital you won't go anywhere else. Portions are more than enough and the amount of meat you get is amazing. I dont eat chinese/cantonese pork from anywhere as i had a bad experience once, but from here i absolutely love it. 5 stars everytime

Best Chinese in the Midlands or even the country. So much meat in every dish and it's soooo tasty. Honestly if you try new capital you won't want to go anywhere else.

Best Chinese in the area, highly recommended. The salt and chilli chips are perfect with fresh onions and chilli. We love the crispy chilli beef too and the staff remember us by name which is a nice touch.

I’ve used these for years now. Just had a takeaway and it’s ended up in bin. Chips where dry. And could see they had been warmed up from night before. Special chow main had big chunks of pretty tasteless meat. Wife’s was no better. Never again

I lived up the road from this takeaway and we’d always order from here. No other Chinese nearby has topped New Capital. You get what you pay for and the food is absolute quality. This is and will always be my No.1 CHOICE for Chinese takeaway. Also the lady over the phone who I give my order to is one of the nicest I’ve met through delivering food. Friendly amazing food, big portions 7 STAR if I could give it.

Just ordered from here for the first time as we’ve been unimpressed with our usual takeaway. The lady was lovely & polite on the phone, delivery was prompt and food tasted fresh and piping hot. Probably one of the nicest Chinese meals that we’ve had. More expensive than our usual one but worth every penny.

Me and my whole extended family have been going to this Chinese for years and after moving to uni I have been dreaming of new capital. The Chinese food in Manchester is nothing in comparison. Finally got to have my favourite Chinese again and the food tastes just as good as I remembered. The most delicious flavourful food with amazing portions.

The place is not so clean , I had better and cheaper food elsewhere.

It states on the website that orders over £22 get free spring rolls, but didn't receive them. Called the restaurant to be told its only ordered over £24 now and they couldn't do anything. Disappointed

We order a takeaway most weekends from the New Capital. Food is tasty and plentiful, arrives in reasonable time and the delivery drivers are efficient and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Just had the food delivered started plating up and everything was over cooked I rang to tell them and they said I could have a refund if nothing had been taken out the boxes and plated up I told them I could put it back in the tubs and return it but they wasn’t happy about it and refused my refund so now 30 pound down and no food absolute joke

This must be the best in the area, I only wish I did not have to travel from Oldswinford to Dudley to collect my order. I would recommend to them to move to Oldswinford, it’s much nicer and closer to me.

Im allergic to onions and dont like the carrot or peppers. So i put in the notes i didnt want any for the 4th time they didnt do anything. I am fed up of it. It annoys me as i like the food but i feel like im not valued as a customer. Why should i have to pick my food when ive explained to leave it out. Update 12.12.2021 Yet again more peppers and onions even after calling the restaurant

Best Chinesetake away in the midlands

Was a bit skeptical ordering from here as it was our first time, but the reviews were showing 4/5 stars so can’t be bad! We ordered, 1/4 crispy duck pancake, sweet & sour chicken, small egg fried rice, small noodles, small curry sauce and chicken satay. We got free vegetable spring rolls & prawn crackers. Order came to £31 and was ready under 30mins. Staff were wearing mask and called me into the restaurant to collect my order. We was quite surprised how much they’ve packed into the boxes as it was full to the brim! For two people it was more than enough. The crispy duck was quite a lot considering we only order a 1/4, duck was cooked to perfection with plenty duck left over. The sweet & sour chicken was very nice along with nice & crunchy vegetables. Chicken satay was also very nice. The spring rolls, rice & noodles was also very nice. Now the curry sauce was a bit salty for my liking so didn’t have much of that. Overall enjoyed this meal and will definitely be ordering from New Capital again. Hopefully they’ll do these boxes full of different starters which I’ve seen other restaurants do.

I haven't had a take away from here for a very long time but my daughter comes here and suggested that we give it a try. I am glad I did as we had an excellent meal from here. I just wish we had come back to it sooner.

Best Chinese takeaway within a 10 mile radius. We live in Netherton but if we decide to have a takeaway with my mother in law who lives in Hagley we will drive the 8 miles to New Capital. Whenever I call they know who I am and what I'm going to order. The salt and pepper chilli chicken is a favourite of ours.

Can't fault the food, it is amazing. However, their website has been down for weeks meaning you can't order online, they don't take payment details over the phone and they only accept cash in the shop which is a huge inconvenience. The owner was a bit short with us last night when we called to say the website was down yet again, which is disappointing considering we usually receive excellent customer service from them. Please get the website fixed - you are losing valuable custom!
