Best food ever. Special chicken and vegetable naan is the best. Whenever we visit the area this is the first take away we use

I use the Madina regularly and absolutely love the food and service but today when I went for my Saturday meal I have been left thinking I’ll never go again, I always pick up because I live 2 minutes away and on this occasion it was no different, I went in and waited, was greeted nicely and waited as the man, not the normal guy I must point out, finished his call and then waited as he took another call and then another, all as I stood in front of him. He finally asked me for my order but mid order he took another call and then another and at this point I left without ordering and will never go back

Absolutely love this place , they main man is so warm and friendly and there food is amazing and very tasty. I deffo recommend this place to everyone! Thanks for lovely Chicken Curry, Chicken Veg, lovely chips, Thanks a lot ! Visited 28.04.2024 7pm

Used Madina for 25 years and is my go to take away. Bhoona and Pathia my favourites, breads are also excellent. Always plenty of chicken in the main meals.

Absolutely bang on bhoona and phatia. And the chips were best I've had in a long time. Would recommend 👌

I do keep asking for tandoori chicken curry very mild and i get it the exact way i do without asking for it mild. Thats been at least 3 times now. I think i give up.

We ordered one biryani which was so dry and tasted of nothing . We had a vegetable curry no taste and looked like a plate of sick Chicken korma that was so dry total waste of money I won’t be returning again

Always nice food from the Madina. The staff are pleasant and quick with delivery. Sadly the prices have crept up obviously due to the current financial turmoil! Only be used for a special treat now.

Enjoy the chicken stuffed nan. Also the dish with chicken and banana in.

We have used the Madina many times, but since COVID it has been about 2 years. Last night we had some friends over and we had a curry from Madina. We were looking forward to it very much. Delivery was excellent… about 20 minutes even though they said it would be about 40 mins. We had complimentary chutneys which was a nice touch. Poppadums were lovely.However, the curry was very bland and tasteless. We all felt the same.I don’t know if the chef has changed since we used it last time? Such a shame really as the staff are very nice. On the whole it was disappointing.

Just had our meal delivered and the food was class it was piping hot and delivered in around 25 mins beautiful meal will order again.

Food turned up cold. I'm a regular customer and I said I'll have money back and not even want to give replacement of food Won't be having them again.

Chicken tikka massla tasted of beef pot noodle, and i have had enough of these from here over the years to know what they should taste like. Too many times now, this place is hit and miss, your now black listed on my takeaway list !

Tried a few currys from here over about 20 years not always the best along with the chips but they do have the best biryani ever! Never fails along with the special nann! So i just keep ordering those and always pleased, big portion as well keep it up👍

Used to be my favourite takeaway but just had to throw £40s worth of food in the bin.

We have been using the Madina for 16/17 years for our regular Friday night takeaway curry. The staff are all great, the chefs are excellent, the food is consistently good We usually have Tandoori King prawn starter, Nargis kebab, Chicken Madras, boiled rice and Saag Aloo for £19.70; excellent flavours and excellent quality and excellent value for money. My other favourite is Chicken Dansak with Coconut rice; that is gorgeous too. The chicken is always succulent and juicy and better than any other take away or restaurant we have been to anywhere, not the disgusting frozen cubes many places serve. We highly recommend the Madina to anyone in this area. We have our meal delivered, the delivery people are all really friendly and it is always delivered hot usually within 40 minutes. Definitely 5*

We have been eating takeaway curries almost every week from Madina for around 18 years now and the food has been consistently excellent throughout that time; they still serve the best succulent chicken than any other restaurant or takeaway that we have tried. We have it delivered free of charge, that usually takes around 40 minutes and it is always piping hot. We have tried a lot of different things from the menu that have all been good but more often than not we have prawn cocktail, Nargis kebabs and tandoori king prawn starters with mint yoghurt are lovely, Chicken Madras, Chicken Dansak with a boiled egg and coconut rice and and saag aloo all of which we can highly recommend. The food is always excellent quality, large portions and good value for money, the management, staff and delivery drivers are really friendly and helpful and I would recommend the Madina to anyone who loves curries.

Orderd chicken tikka masala from here after a night out it was absolutely shocking to say the least it was not even chicken tikka it was some banged up junk swimming in oil literally made me feel sick chicken was sour and tasted awful I will never ever use this place again worst £21 ever spent PLEASE TAKE NOTE

The food tastes great but it's the cost of the rice the food used to come with rice chips now separate at a extra cost meal without any rice / chips still the same price as with ??? Keema nan little circle in middle you might just as well have a normal nan . Being greedy you will lose customers. Sort it out .

Have been using the madina for over 5 years nearly every Saturday having same curry never had a problem both curry and staff were fab ordered curry Saturday gone over phone for collection as do not deliver to us in Cradley the curry was the most disgusting taste of salt did not look like the normal curry we have could not eat I rang madina to ask if different chef to be told no explained how bad curry was they offered discount next visit also emailed them no reply will never use again lost a very loyal customer

Lovely food and friendly service

Amazing authentic food. The Keema naan is the best have tasted across the country. The food is made to order with alterations. Honestly some of the best curry I have ever had.

Whilst most of the reviews for this place are amazing. What I had tonight.. every bit of it.. was utterly tasteless!! The chicken meat in the curry was proper quality meat but every other bit tasted of nothing. The keema naan had all the right colours.. but no flavour.. the curry.. no flavour.. even the chips and rice no flavour?!? Never eat here!! Not worth the risk of catching the chefs 'off' night or the back up cook!!!

The lockdown has meant that I have been trying a few takeaways to see if I can find a good one. For me the restaurants seem to do a much better job. The meal I had from the Madina was unlike anything I have had before and quite difficult to describe. Was it unpleasant? - No. Would I have it again? - No

I am a true curry lover and I know my food very well, I normally don't rate any restaurant 5 star, there is always something wrong, but I had to rate this restaurant 5 stare and eat every day whils I am hear for work, Excellent customer service, Food is 10/10 and very cheap wish this restaurant was at london.

Awful food. Order was definitely not what I asked for. The whole order was inedible. Meatballs in tandoori chicken balti ? Absolutely swimming in oil. Keema naan looked like mashed up meat and just put a circle if meat in the middle. Nothing near the the edges at all. Will definitely not order from there again !

Always beautiful food and very efficient service staff are lovely

Being new to the area we thought we would give this place a try, 30 mins from placing order to delivery. Not a good sign in my opinion. Opened bag,items missing chicken looked like last Sunday's dinner and tasted bad. Garlic bread was like eating a slice of bread, after a few forks full it all went in the bin. At least I can cross this one of the list.

We have been having curries from here for over 20years, we have tried different places but they don’t live up to the Madina... food always fresh,they always use chicken breast and not the frozen cubed chicken like a lot of places.. friendly staff, good service... we have recently moved to Cookley but still travel back to the madina... highly recommend!!! Have been having takeaways for years from here but review is on recent orders, always a great reception on ordering at shop but also on phone ; food perfect; the only little niggle was on New Year’s Eve (we ordered early 5:30pm ) the quantity wasn’t as usual perhaps they thought they were going to be really busy or different chef and thought they could get away with it ; the food was good but had better the week before, delivery was bang on time and delivery man very pleasant, good prices look forward to normal service after Christmas quality and quantity

Left a bad review last year. Clearly it was a different chef and the food went downhill. We asked many times but were told there were no changes etc. We finally gave up and went elsewhere. Tried so many but nothing like our old madina. A few weeks ago we were told the food was lovely so we tried it again. 35 years we ordered from here and can honestly say nothing came near to it but sadly it did go bad. However, have ordered about 4 times since and our lovely Madina curry is back. Please don’t change again, the food is beautiful once again. The keema nann does need cooking a little longer though so it ain’t so sloppy. On the whole, the best curry in sedgley by far 👍

I have been using this take away restaurant for some 25 years now, the food is top quality and the staff extremely helpful and will advise if needed. Would certainly recommend to anyone who fancies an authentic Pakistani meal.

Been ordering from here since 1984. Was easily the best around but sadly is no longer. Tried it a few times this year but is not the same. Maybe the new chef aint up to the standards of the last one.

Ordered for collection and when we got home the curry was swimmimg with oil and so was the carrier bag it came in. Plated up the lamb pathia it was defiantly not lamb it was beef.

When takeaway came everything swimming with grease including the bag it came in.. food bland and unappetizing just awful won't be ordering again

Got order completely wrong, tandoori chicken instead of chicken massalla the cubed frozen chicken that tastes like rubber was used and clearly tastless. Lamb bhoona turned out to be tinned stewing steak and was as far from A LAMB bhoona dish as you could get with no tomato used at all, plain nan instead of peshwari I mean how can you even get that wrong you would have to be doing all this on purpose... food was disgusting worst tandoori restaurant I've ever ordered from AVOID AT ALL Costs you will regret wasting money here the chips were like hard lumps of potato nasty 😷

Since my last review of the Madina, I have tried to become more adventurous and have now tried all of the Biryanis with chicken, prawns and best of all King Prawns; they let me have them with Saag Aloo instead of Vegetable Curry as I love that.

New to the area thought we would try the food. Chicken was nice big chunks straight off the bone and mushroom pilau rice was really lovely but that's the only positve points really. Chips look like they have an cooked and gone cold for a few days then reheated and they smell strange and the curry was half a tub of grease which left my plate swimming.. Could not eat it all as the grease made me feel sick and left a coating in the mouth after. Do not reccomend and we will not be returning...

Ordered a take away and they messed it up so i rang and they just slam the phone down on you terrible customer service .the chips was just inedible and discusting and the curry was so thick you could stand a spoon up in it and the chicken was very dry had to throw the lot away in the end as it was just discusting will never use the madina again and will also tell all of our friends and family

Food nded up in the bin chicken was tough poppadoms tasted burnt and was greasy will not order again. Shame because other reviews for this place are good.🤔😐

Ordered a Special Nan and a Tandoori mixed grill. been having the special nans for the last 30 yrs and last nights was very bland no taste or substance they have also shrunk over the years and the tandoori mix was very dry and really not worth the £10.50 and if the nan bread with it was made on the premises then thats the worst rip off ever as it was very soggy like it was frozen and microwave heated. Maybe this quality was normal for a Monday but sadly i will never try again as when called up i was just fobbed off and this morning i have the runs. I have never ordered from another Indian takeaway in Sedgley but after this i will sadly start looking around for better options

La comida es fabulosa. Nos registramos con el personal el nivel de sequedad/hotness de otros platos. Fuimos para Ceilán como de costumbre Jalfrezi pollo platos eran fabulosos y fresco y sin duda era Pollo lo que no como en otro sitio que no intentamos ir a otro lugar se pegan a lo que es el mejor. No espere demasiado tiempo o un viernes por la noche son siempre lleno de gente que entraba y salía y el teléfono nunca se detiene mientras estás esperando lo que significa que es popular. Servicio fantástico, también con chico simpático que lleva los pedidos,

Really nice curry and the man who takes the orders is always immaculately presented. I wanted a Fahl but got warned off it so went for the Vindaloo instead, stunning.

Tried many takaway restaurant in the area but alway come back to the Madena the food is fantastic plenty of it and good prices. The delivery is also good never have to wait long and always piping hot. Worth trying. !!!!

Been having the special man since I was a child, love it every time, only fault is that sometimes it can be a tad bit greasy, however I love the food and will be visiting again in no time

Ended up throwing half of the meal in the bin it was that bad, the are much nicer curry houses I suggest you look elsewhere!

Been eating here ever since I moved from gornal to Wolverhampton this place is superb and the tandoori mix grill is absolute amazing service is great the guys are friendly only think I would say is expect a length wait but well worth it for the outcome !!

If you ask for a Red Tikka Masala you will not regret it. It is beautiful. All the curries I have had from here have been lovely. I wouldn't order a curry from anywhere else.

My family have been using the Madina for 20+ years. We all love the food to the point that my brother lives in Stourbridge (def out of delivery range) and orders takeaways to be delivered to family members (within range) and collects off them!! Had my favourite, golden chicken curry, again tonight!! Cannot fault it!!! FANTASTIC!!

If you want to stay ok do not eat at Madina, i have often seen rats and alike running around at the side of the building and the food for delivery is often taken out in dirty cars in tatty look boxes. the food isnt nice and made me ill.
