Noble House in Dudley

This is my local Chinese - I have been using it for years and have always had excellent service and great food - a lots better than many others I have tried in the locality

The salt and chilli chip is superb .

the curry is exceptional ,also comes at a large portion . definitely will come back again .

Placed order and given the food but when I got home it wasn't what I had ordered so I returned to be told I had been given the wrong order! When I actually got home and ate it - I wished I hadn't bothered! I have never tasted anything so bland - this was supposed to be Thai Chicken Choi Mein but it was tasteless and the chicken was dry. I also had some slimey lettuce in my meal and the mushrooms were also slimey. It was a busy night but that shouldn't excuse such poor food and service. Definitely won't be returning.

Food is the best around good old traditional Chinese food perfect 👍

Use noble house regular close to home sometimes have delivery as well the food is always lovely the beef curry is georguous and staff very friendly and polite would highly recommend.

Avoid this Chinese at all costs phoned me asking for me to remove review no chance feel I have to let members of the public know do not order unhygienic and fail to deliver previous owners were excellent so sad how bad the food is and if you look at back of shop rats running around feeding off waste.

This is my favourite Chinese in the Halesowen area! Tasty food at a good price! Now they do delivery too.

Tried this chinese as my normal was closed for the summer holidays, after reading the reviews i thought id give them the benefit of doubt. Sorry to say this was the worst meal ive had. Chips where dry, chicken tasted like it was days old and had no flavour, ended up in the bin. Sorry to say this food was very bad for an established takeout. Changes need to be made.

Lovely food, pity that after all this time you still can't pay by card in the takeaway.

Sadly this was the worst meal we have had from the noble house in 28 years . Beef n mushrooms beef so tough couldn't chew the juice was thick .The chicken balls were over cooked and crammed into a small tray so mushed together straight in bin and they forgot to send beef curry so had to wait for driver to come back so meal was cold total waste of good money

I have to say to say that the quality has much improved since my bitterly disappointed salt and pepper squid, it's back to perfect food and no complaints.

Used this place for some time before covid, prices have increased and food quality is poor and over cooked with less quality ingredients, shame really because in a nice area and very local people will not return.

This place has really gone down hill sadly, in a nice area and quality of food an ingredients is poor with a lack consistency, prices have gone up which is fine if the same is provided in return.

Used this place for sometime went down so took a wide birth. Thought I'd give it another go but so disappointed won't be returning.

BBQ ribs are nice and there was a good amount of them too, also thank you very much for the extras it was very generous of you and will be ordering again 👍

Ordered from here lots of times and always been satisfactory, tonight thou I was very disappointed. Fu young was very bland and contained quite a bit of egg shell and the curry tray hardly had any curry sauce and chips were very undercooked. Waste of money

Just ordered a House curry and very disappointed with it. Did not taste like a curry at all! Beef and pork was not nice. Beef was chewy. I'll stick to a chow mein instead. Sorry Noble.

I have bought food here for 20years!! I have friends and family who have enjoyed it so much when visiting, they ask me to bring some. HmmAfter the last 3 purchases I can say it has hit rock bottom!! This makes me so sad as since lockdown, all I have wanted was a nice Takeaway and they have left me so disappointed. I struggled to come and leave this review as I have been a loyal customer for 20years, buying chinese food NOWHERE ELSE!! They know my food and even use to know my voice on the phone before lockdown. I tried to give them a chance by trying again, hoping it was an off day, but sorry to say, FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE OR YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED! REST IN PEACE Noble House!

This Chinese is one of the best in Halesowen, always fresh cooked and tastes great, good portions and now home delivery as well as collection i cannot highly reccomend enough

Ordered food at 6pm now 9.45pm and still ain't here tried calling the restaurant but the phone is off the hook won't be using again

Terrible, food delivered incorrectly and the prawn foo yung very watery, hardly cooked and absolutely stunk - very fishy.... straight in the bin. Owner has now refunded in full

The staff are always pleasant and easy to talk to, that’s makes it good if you want to try something different, always happy to advise. They’re also good at tailoring your favourites, eg making it hotter or omitting something you don’t like. Yes, they aim to please.

A nice atmosphere and good food

We ordered a takeaway as my Mother’s Day treat due to our restaurant cancelling due to the current situation in the country. When our food arrived I was very very disappointed my prawn balls were completely over cooked and the batter was so thick and hard I couldn’t get my knife and fork into them and prawns? half the balls had nothing in them at all! (See picture below) I was bitterly disappointed as I’d been looking forward to a lovely meal. Noble House is not the place it used to be at all it has gone from a takeaway with superb food and great service to a place with awful service and adequate to poor quality food. We will be certainly not using Noble House again.

We order from here once a week and Food was Lovely as always, chips were really nice this week. Delivery driver is always happy and friendly.

We've been going here for years, I love the food... but sometimes, depending on how is there, it can be a bit overcooked/ tasteless. Out of 5 meals, one wasn't nice but they accepted the feedback and sorted it. I like that the rice is light and not oily. The springrolls are lovely, and the yung chow fried rice is full of meat. The owners are really nice people who care about their customers.

Horrendous!! we have only just ate this Chinese and I feel I need to leave a review immediately as I was so bad. We’ve always used this Chinese and has always been so good!! but have moved to rubery so haven't been in a while thought we’d treat ourselves to a top Chinese tonight but didn’t realise it had changed ownership, it was so bad the prawns were so chewy and over cooked I could only eat a couple of spoons and just didn’t taste nice and my other half who is an animal left half he would usually eat the lot plus mine. He’s chicken was over cooked and chewy also!! Definitely won’t be returning unless the old owners are back.

Lovely Chinese food and quick service

Had a takeaway from here on Friday night because we had heard that the chef from Jade Chinese that we love and gone to noble house. Ordered all the things we usually would have and either that isn’t the jade chef or they’ve completely changed their style of cooking. Everything was overly fried, didn’t taste right or good. That night I had severe IBS and vomited 6-8 times. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Didn't realise noble house has changed hands... But noticed tonight with the difference in portion size and quality. Lovely to see introduction of more varied veg, especially water chestnuts! Love it tonight, yuk sung, dry salt salt chilli chicken, special chow mein and special curry.... All very nice.

Have been very loyal to this takeaway for over 10 years. The food was excellent in the past. Today the food was of the lowest stand I have experienced in. Chinese takeaway locally. The chicken was very hard and seemed re cooked. The spring roles felt over fried. In short since changing hands, the new chef has a lot to be desired. Sadly will have to find another Chinese takeaway. I strongly do not recommend the quality of food I had today for anyone.

Ordered our takeaway ( baby sitting) 45 minutes before collection was due, arrived in a taxi , hadn’t even started to prepare the food ,was told to wait with a taxi on the meter asked how long to deliver if we carried on to our baby sitting duties was told 1.45 hrs what a total shambles this place is and probably reading the reviews a lucky escape , do not USE

I had a really great pepper beef from here; the food was great tasting and wasn't greasy like other chinese takeaway food I have had. My only gripe is that the service wasn't as good as it could have been - pretty slow actually - but I think that may have been because of credit card payment problems. Certainly worth visiting.

Yummy, I was passing by when I found this gem on google maps, food is taste, I’d definitely recommend it.

We’ve used this takeaway for the last ten years and not once have we had a problem. We’ve ordered recently for collection and noticed dishes tasted different (curry dishes), but edible and ok. After walking past yesterday and realising they now deliver we decided to order tonight for delivery. We noticed the prices had gone up which we were ok with as we expected the same standard food, just delivered. We ordered two mains, the chicken fried rice was absolutely fine. The canton special (something that we’ve ordered lots of times before) was awful! Completely tasteless and absolutely nowhere in the same league to what we’ve had previously. I called Noble House and explained that never have we once called to complain but tonight it was just terrible - and for extra cost! The man I spoke to is the same man we have spoken to when placing orders over the phone many times before, he recognised our name and explained that he would pass on our comments to the “new chef” and would speak to the manager and call us back. We haven’t had a call back and I doubt very much we will. I now understand it’s under new management and I guess that explains the poor service as we never had any problems before. I will not order again from here and it’s such a shame as it was always so good. Such a big disappointment.

An absolute gem of a Chinese, great food with great staff.

Same owners for more than 20 years. The old man has now retired, but the rest of the family still running the place. Excellent food again. Recommend the beef and ginger (and special fried rice).

Unfortunately what was an amazing well established chinese takeaway has now been sold on to new owners. This evening we have waited 1 hour & 30 minutes in the shop before having to walk out with no food. We placed an order over the phone and was told 20 minutes. Unfortunately we will never order from this takeaway again which is an awful shame as we have ordered from here regularly for the the past 15 years. What a disappointment.

Was driving to brum stopped for an in car takeout. Not good. Boiled beef and onions stir fied flat taste. Egg fry rice no egg. Seriously. That was my first and last. Looks good does not taste good.

Appearances can be deceptive - Chinese takeaways often tend to look one of the same, and when you see a menu that looks as unflatteringly generic as they come you'd be excused for thinking the food wouldn't be anything to write home about either. This place doesn't do delivery, they don't even supply menu leaflets (a first), they're obviously not looking to collect awards. Hang on though, what about the food; well, it's pretty good considering, surprisingly good in fact. Ok, this was my one and only visit to Noble House, and I happened to order one of the 'specials' (cantonese style chicken in sweet and chilli sauce, a take on sweet 'n sour if you like), alongside egg fried rice, but despite the fact that this was likely one of their more touted dishes, I really enjoyed it all the same, and the fried rice (£1.80) wasn't bad either. In fact, for the price you pay (£6.50 in all) you're getting seemingly good quality food for very good value, particularly if you weigh up against the likes of say Ki Ban a bit further down the road, which is around a couple of quid more for a meal of a seemingly similar standard (albeit slightly larger portion there). China Restaurant on the other hand, further still down the Hagley Road, is comparable in price but the food is of a lower quality. I wouldn't want to begrudge the portion size too much though; ok, most places you'll get a bit more but for me it was actually nice to be able to eat it all (rather than have to leave a quarter of it for lunch the following day).

Love the food and its my regular, had a few problems though recently when I call in ,the lady who answers can't make out the order and you have to repeat yourself a few times, and I have had incorrect order once home due to her not understanding my order. Otherwise food is brilliant!

Collected our food as no delivery.Tried small starter which consisted of spring rolls X2 spare ribs X2 and crab claws X2 all were very greasy which dripped down my t-shirt.The prawn crackers were burnt and didn't taste that nice.Curry had no taste chips were fried to death.Wont be wasting money here again

We have been using Noble House for at least 30 years. The family are lovely and very hard working. I recommend wholeheartedly.

Primera visita a casa noble y fue simplemente mediocre. Nada especial. El pollo en salsa de chile sal y estaba bien, pero el huevo frito arroz era un poco seco y el asado de cerdo sólo le faltaba algo chow mein, pero sin saber qué. Además, el cerdo era muy duro y parecía preparado un tiempo atrás. En general, probablemente no volvería.

Tried this place as not used it before and needed a decent Chinese takeaway. I was very dissapointed the food had an odd taste and the veg was not cooked properly.

Extensive menu, good to telephone order. Very pleasent owners. Never had a bad takeway. Very tasty sweet and sour dishes. Excellent pancake roll.

The food is always tasty and the staff friendly. The only thing stopping this takeaway getting five stars is the lack of a card payment facility
