Decent takeaway food-wise but on a Saturday it’s almost impossible to get them to answer the phone. It just rings out. You try again and it’s busy. Try again, it rings out. This evening I’ve tried them 10 times without success trying to place a large order. Literally giving up on these people and taking our business elsewhere. Message to the takeaway…..GET MORE STAFF!!!

We all had different food. I had Thai sauce husband had curry son had lemon chicken. All I can say about all of these dishes were they were so bland. Didn’t taste if anything. Even the prawn crackers had no flavour. This is the second time the foods been like this so I will definitely not be going again. Not exactly cheaper end either so not worth the money or the trip. Only put one rating as didn’t have option to put zero

I was persuaded to give it another go after not being impressed previously. I had the special fried rice, it was hot, but very bland and flavourless.

Moved to the area and used this three or four times but not any more, as the food is really a bit bland. I'm not expecting spicy hot like a curry but it really is difficult to know what you are eating. Its cooked OK just tasteless.

Service prompt , efficient and polite . Am glad they have reopened the waiting area so you don't have to queue outside to collect your order , not too bad in summer but no good in today's weather. Had crispy duck to start with( very nice) , followed by salt and pepper squid (just right ) , sweet and sour king prawns in batter ( prawns were big , batter slightly too thick) and chicken fried rice ( excellent ). Easy to park in side road.

Although on the menu it appears they will cater toSomebody with an allergy, upon phoning up it was very clear they couldn’t be bothered and make zero effort in their kitchen to separate foods ( they said everything is prepared all over). I haven’t had this issue anywhere else for the past 10 years. They need to get with the times.

We’ve been to this Chinese many a times before and they’ve always been very accommodating of my gluten free food intolerance but on this occasion it seems they didn’t really care! I placed a large order for family visiting whom was in a rush then at the end tried to place an order for a dish that I’d had many times before but gluten free. I got told we can’t do that and when I asked what can you do got told any vegetable dishes! I’m not a vegetarian so wanted some meat. Got put through to a man who said to me we’re to busy to deal with you, we haven’t got time to do something especially for you!! I then said I’d like to continue to place the order for my family as there in a rush and not worry about me and again got to told we’re to busy to deal with your order at which point he hung up on me! I rang back and the same gentleman again said we’re to busy to deal with you and hung up, following this they refused to answer to my number. I’ve never had an establishment speak to me and dismiss me like this take away have. There menu says let us know about food allergies which I did and they replied with we haven’t got time for you!! I will not be returning and don’t recommend them to anyone else as customer services is the worst I’ve ever had.

I am not sure why there are so many bad reviews recently. I ordered four meals last Friday and they were all really good. We had Chicken Satay, Pork Yuk Sung and mini spring rolls for starters and Lemon Chicken, Beef and Green pepper, Egg fried rice and all were very good as always.Not sure if this site is being trolled, but the Star Inn, also a very good Chinese takeaway has recently been closed for refurb. Hmmm.

My friend rang up last night to place an order whilst another friend was driving to collect it. As she entered she overheard the girl saying “UGH! I can’t deal with awkward people”. What a wonderful way to treat your customers. Made my friend feel very upset as she isn’t the most confident on the phone, and she was not just rude or anything at all! I recommended this Chinese to my friends, and now I wish I hadn’t! Will never be buying Chinese from here again and my boyfriend and I USED to be regulars. Also got our order wrong, so the food didn’t even redeem her nasty attitude.

We have been regular customers of this place for years. The food was always enjoyable and it was convenient. We've just had a rubbish experience here. We recently placed an order for two main courses both of which turned out to be completely wrong. We had to go back twice (a thirty-minute, six-mile round trip each time) before we got the replacement order right. The owner was very hostile, suspicious and completely unapologetic. He was basically accusing us of trying to get free meals. If you want basic, reasonably tasty, fast Chinese takeaway food, this place is fine. Although the Leigh Sinton Chinese Takeaway is more convenient for us, the Star Inn on Cowleigh Road is actually much better, and friendlier. We will be going there from now on.

Fairly disappointed as pretty much everything I ordered was bland had to add my own soya sauce and the best part of the meal was the chips. Maybe it was just because it’s veggie food I ordered but either way I wouldn’t bother ordering the satay sauce (watery) the black bean sauce has no strong flavour at all and the spring rolls are definitely Iceland’s finest frozen selection. Shame as it has so much potential considering it’s the only one in the area but I would make the effort to go to a Malvern based Chinese with more flavour

We have enjoyed some excellent food from this chinese before but unfortunately tonight my satay chicken and boiled rice were not good. The chicken was very tough and the rice only just cooked- I could have done better myself. On a positive note, my wife reports that her Cantonese sweet and sour with chicken fried rice was fine. Also, the young receptionist was lovely too. Tonight was not busy so no excuse for poor food really.I only write this in the hope that normal excellent service resumes.

I have used this takeaway on and off for over ten years and the food is always good. It is worth the car trip to collect it.

Have and numerous takeaways from here as we often have family get together soon at the mother-in-laws. The food is consistently excellent but.....how I wish if they say it will be ready at a set time I don't then have to wait 20-30 minutes when I arrive to collect. I know Saturdays are always busy (that's because the food is so good) but be realistic in your timings please!!!

Ordered from here several times , and each time the food is gorgeous. Large portions beautifully cooked . The staff are all really friendly and polite. I have told all my family and friends to order from here and all of them say the same , very impressed

In fairness, I haven’t had a takeaway in a long time and so it’s difficult to compare this one to others, but having decided to have a takeaway and being in the Leigh Sinton area I called in at this takeaway particularly as I love Thai food. On entering I was immediately asked what I would like, perhaps the lady thought I was a regular? I asked if they did a Penang curry, but from the vacant expression on her face I guessed she wasn’t Thai and no they didn’t, despite having quite a few Thai meals on the extensive menu. I eventually opted for Thai chicken with cashew nuts and a boiled rice, and whilst it was a good sized portion with a reasonable amount of chicken, it was distinctly average and was effectively just the Chinese equivalent with some chillis added by the seems of things.

Having read the poor reviews of the local Chinese restaurants we decided to have a takeaway from Leigh Sinton. Chinese is not my favourite cuisine because quite often it is bland, barely-cooked meat in a bland, sweet sauce not dissimilar to washing-up water. This, however, was really well-cooked, fantastic flavours and plenty of it. My wife had ordered several dishes and they were all pretty good. My favourite was the salt and pepper crispy shredded beef. Don’t be put off by the condition of the building this restaurant is housed in, the chef knows his trade!

We decided to try a different Chinese , and we are so glad we did , it's a good 20 minute drive from us , but well worth it .

Since I last reviewed this takeaway, it's upped its game in my view. Consistently good food, generous portions at reasonable prices and pleasant service too. Give it a try!

Been using this chinese for over 3 years now and never had reason to complain or be unhappy. Plenty to choose from and a good vegetarian range to keep the wife happy.

Me and my partner love this Chinese we come EVERY week but had one tonight and they changed their noodles to those horriable super thin noodles. Why?? It sooo nice with the noodles they useally use. The thin noodles I hate and it totally ruined my meal for me I hope they don't continue to use these noodle because I will have to find somewhere else But overall a every good Chinese just please changed your noodles back to the old ones!!!!!

This is without doubt the best Chinese takeaway in Worcestershire , it is in a small village but on the main Worcester - Hereford road . Normal extensive menu ( about 200 dishes ) but quality of all items we have tried over the years has been first class , good size portions (particularly the rice dishes) . Everything well packaged and clean. Even the Thai dishes are upto scratch . Normal Takeaway prices but good valueNever been disappointed

We were visiting the area and took a chance on this takeaway. The outside isn't exactly enticing but the food is good and tasty, reasonably priced and you get good portions. We would certainly use them again.

We always go here when my husband has decided to cook! He orders a set meal, altering dishes to suit the occasion and we have never had a bad experience. Food is tasty, freshly cooked and generous in portions.

We use this takeaway reasonably frequently and find it generally OK without being amazing. The food is very standard takeaway stuff. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing which would make this a stand-out takeaway. It's not somewhere which makes us think "yes, we must have a meal from there", but neither is there any food issue which would stop us using it.The main issue with the place is parking (on a main road) which is very tricky indeed at busy times and sometimes simply being able to get to the counter and collect your order from the single person handling both walk-in business and phone orders. If you simply want a chick Chinese takeaway without driving too far, this is adequate.

Was staying nearby for a family gathering and we did not want to cook on the Saturday night. We drove past on the way to where we were staying and thought we give it a try. First impressions were brilliant nice clean waiting area and comfy seats. Ordered a selection of items which was made quickly and was piping hot. The young lady who was working did an amazing job, taking orders on the phone and from people coming in as well all with a smile. If we are back in the area will definitely be back go visit if in the area.

Very delicious food. A friendly staff, found out the answer of my questions. The new ownership from 2010 made a lot better than before! Must try again
