Picked our food on the on line menu , called to place the order and was told the order was £12 more than the on line price. No compromise so we order from Wok and Roll which was lovely and the price stated online .

Used a few times for takeaway meals. So far they have been very good.

Order a vegetarian dish and found chicken in it! 🤢🤮

i have ate from here before and it was cold and tasteless. not all of my order arrived and refused to send it so do not get it delivered. just tried to order and they refused to order and put the phone down on me. overall shocking experience.

Very nice Chinese food, especially the chicken, my children really love them. Very quick delivery service! Overall, good food and nice service. Would recommend!

If I could give 0 stars I would.. both my daughters are very poorly after eating from ere they have food poisoning called Bacillus cereus, its a bacteria from rice, tried to speak to manager who was very rude and kept Changing subject to her kitchen is very clean and how rice is cooked in batches well that's how bacillus is caused. . Case closed Do not waste your money and poison yourself or children. I've emailed trading standards and other agencies to take this matter further as I felt she was rude and not even an apology

Best Chinese I’ve had in a long time was unreal

Ordered a meal tonight as soon as they opened at 4.30. At 5.30 I called and they said they would be any minute, 20 minutes later I’m calling again because it still hadn’t arrived. They said the deliver driver left ages ago and he had 4-5 deliveries, they called him and he said traffic was bad. When he got here he explained that he didn’t start until 5 and he came straight from the Chinese to our address. The poor review has been given because I don’t appreciate being lied to and they were not honest from the start. The food was warm enough although the chips weren’t and they were extremely dry to the point of being inedible.

Our go to take away in Barnards green and we are spoilt for choice with 3 Chinese takeaways. This has always been my fave. However new front of house staff have no manners! Rude and not at all helpful with things slight off menu! Please get some better front of house staff with manners!

The food here use to be the best, quality was excellent. It then went down hill which was apparently due to a new chef. Then the lovely front of house person changed and the most unhappy woman seems to have taken over that gives the impression she really dosen't want to be there or serve you. So I've taken my business across the road and the food has been great. Sad that the chef seems to have left as well as the lovely woman that was front of house / owner.

Waited over 20mins for specials trays, treating myself for my birthday. Food in plastic containers rather than foil so not as easy to heat up. Sauce was very minimal so Food was very dry. Disappointed x

Ordered whilst staying at a holiday let in Malvern. Though the food was tasty, got loads for what we paid. Delivery was quick despite us staying out in the sticks and the delivery driver was super helpful even offering to carry our food down the steps to our place.

Vile taste ,even the dogs refused the food. First and last time I go to Hong Kong for a Chinese, back to malvern link 1000 time better.

Worst Chinese ever! Rubber shredded spicy beef with zero spice. Hong Kong special about on par with a microwave meal with rubberised prawns. First and last time will ever order from them.

Was like eating rubber with zero flavour. Both dishes ordered were vile and nearly unpalatable. Hong Kong special was tasteless with rubber prawns and spicy shredded beef was also like chewing on elastic and absolutely tasteless

My opinion is the best Chinese food in Malvern!

Absolutely superb food! Tender meat, crunchy veg and snappy crackers. Second takeaway and wanted to make sure it was consistently good before writing a review!

Food is Great however be warned the delivery driver will turn up without change thus you have to decide whether to refuse the food or pay extra ie no change, don,t bother phoning the shop them will only say sorry or ask you to pay by card over the phone.

We ordered a Hong Kong last night because we were in a Chinese kind of mood but our usual place (Wok n Roll) was closed. We would order from them again, but likely only in the same circumstances. Although, the delivery option is fab and the food arrived in 45 minutes without any issues. Delivery man was lovely. All of the dishes here were much sweeter than is my preference. Rice was nice and everything was hot. We had the set menu B for 2 and supplemented it with some other items. The set menu is cheap but not necessarily great value. The menu includes 4 spring rolls but orders over £25 receive another 4 spring rolls... Tried the deep fried chilli beef, despite other poor reviews. Very sweet and absolutely no spice but, beef itself was nice. Winning dish was prawn in ginger!

Staying on the three counties showground as security we ordered food for me and my wife the food was absolutely disgusting the curry sauce was like gravy the metre was half cooked and the rice overdone and I was missing other items so my wife rang up the takeaway and told them and it was like they did not believe you and we had to wait nearly 2-hours when it arrived it was cold I will never use that takeaway again.

Great food as usual. Lady on the till always really kind. Definitely recommend, even gave us a Christmas Gift which was a calendar

The worst take away ive ever had, it was disgusting... sirloin was like shoe leather Deep fried shredded beef was hard and like chewing a rubber band i wouldn't recommend it to anyone + waited 3/4 hour for it. Waste of £14 it all went in the bin i wouldn't even give it a dog 😡

We had almost given up on getting a good Chinese takeaway in Malvern. Tonight we had a really great meal from the Hong Kong. Arrived on time and everything tasted fresh and delicious. Thanks to you all.

Staying at one of the Caravan sites in Hanley Swan, and they recommended this take away. Glad they did, had the meal for two, which was more than enough for us. The food was very good. I’m told they will deliver to the caravan site gates.

Lived in Malvern for 18 months and this is the best Chinese takeaway we have tried!!! Absolutely lovely food, not too salty and really nicely cooked. The delivery driver was also so friendly! Highly recommend this place!

Every Other Week i have this Chinese takeaway and i love the chicken curry without mushroom and onion and i have egg fried rice and chips and its so nice So Welldone

This is the best Chinese,Ever. I live in Ledbury and no Chinese here, can touch this. They do not normally deliver to Ledbury, but if you offer to pay the delivery (petrol) then they are more than happy to deliver.over the years we have tried so many things from octopus to crab claws. Every thing is cooked individually and delicately and the flavour shows this. The portion size is also bigger than other Chinese. You will definitely have some leftovers. You even get mushrooms onion and peas standard in any curry,something that many charge extra for.like I said, BEST CHINESE EVER. Lovely friendly people, excellent customer service. Thank you all and stay safe.x

Food is amazing. Generous portions, brilliant service and they are quick. There are 3 Chinese takeaways in Barnards Green and this is by far the best. Their special friend rice is fabulous. We have had Chinese all over Britain and Ireland and I cannot recommend this place enough.

We were staying at the Malvern Hills motorhome club site for a couple of nights and decided to have a takeaway, we came across the Hong Kong takeaway and after reading the reviews on TA decided to give it a try,we were not disappointed the guy on the phone was very polite and professional he took our order and identified were we were located this can be a little awkward with camp sites we were clock watching to see if the food would arrive on time and it in fact arrived 10 minutes early which was a bonus we were starving. The food was hot and tasted delicious it was very plentiful much more than we could eat and all for a very reasonable price to include delivery we couldn’t ask for more, well done HK.

I religiously order my Chinese from here. They understand vegan and have a range of options, I fulllly recommend mixed veg and tofu in black bean sauce, the salt and pepper chips, vegetarian yuk sung and a pot of satay sauce so tasty, consistently good and one of the cheaper options in Malvern. I don’t go anywhere else as the food has always been bang on!! Vegans if you want a delicious reliable Chinese with out worries of meat confusion then go here!

On holiday for a few days down in Hanley Swan we took a drive into Barnards Green and after reading other reviews decided on Hong Kong takeaway from the other 3-4 take ways shops in the area. So glad we did, my Beef Satay was superb, and the chef did a special Curried mushroom dish with extra onions for my veggie wife. The egg fried rice was excellent as well. Only down side was the chips which were obviously cooked from frozen. We weren’t offered salt & vinegar, the food comes ready wrapped and bagged from the rear kitchen. Lovely food though and we would recommend this takeaway.

Simply the best chinese takeaway in Malvern

Have had 2 take always from here over the last 3 weeks.The food is very good and plentiful.We have it delivered and we are about 4 miles away, I feel the £5 delivery charge is a bit steep.This is the reason I have not given 5 stars.

Ordered a meal for four. My particular order, all in one meal of crispy duck rice, curry sauce and chips lacked any flavour, the sauce was watery. The other meals faired better but what you get in portion size it lacks in taste.

I’ve been a regular customer to Hong Kong for nearly 4 years now and have never had a bad word to say about it... until tonight. I ordered a Spanish omelette with no meat/shellfish as I am allergic to shellfish, and yet when it arrived (an hour and a quarter later) it was filled with prawns and meat. I immediately noticed the little blighters (thank god) and threw the prawn infested omelette in the bin and rang up the takeaway to ask for a refund, especially since we had waited a considerable amount of time for the food AND if I hadn’t noticed the prawns I would have spent the night throwing my guts up in hospital. The young lad from the takeaway apologised and said he would refund me straight away, and I thought that was the end of it and I’d just have the chips for dinner. However, nearly 2 hours later I had a phone call from the I assume ‘owner’ of the takeaway demanding that I give back the omelette as proof of their mistake before they could refund me a measly £5.10. I told her it was in the bin, and she said I would need to provide the whole bin as proof. I said that was madness and she said someone will be there to collect it in 10 minutes. They arrived, and I had to fish the manky thing out of the bin and give it back to them in exchange for the refund. Apparently they have had 4 complaints tonight for wrong orders and mistakes which is just shocking. She then rang me back afterwards and asked if I got the money, and didn’t even apologise, given I could have been seriously ill.

Used Hong Kong Garden for a takeaway tonight for the first time and was really impressed.The staff were really friendly and helpful,and the food was fabulous.As vegetarians,the choice was great,and for once I really enjoyed the bean curd.If you're vege then this place takes some beating!

Pregnant partner requested non spicy crispy shredded beef and egg fried rice. Arrived spicy, very spicy! Egg fried rice was warm. I asked for a tray of chicken balls with black peppercorn chips and chilli with a side curry sauce (which was going to "cost extra"). Fine. £12.90. Mine arrived as a tray of chips, again warm, some chopped onion inside and a very small amount of green pepper! I rang to point out we had received the wrong order, but no, I was told the chicken balls would now be extra and the chips did have chilli in, they checked. No they didn't. I offered to send them a photo. They gave me a Facebook profile, which does not accept messages. The young lady (Maggie) went to the kitchen, as I was not happy this and it would now have costed nearly £18. "But you're getting free delivery and a new free chips". I pointed out I had already paid and therefore it was not free at all, if anything it was now very, very expensive. Maggie then told me that she had my card details written down so I needn't give her them again!!! I just wanted to eat at this point! I am diabetic which didn't help my hunger and I needed to eat! You do not keep card information written down. Put those details in and process whilst the customer is on the phone or immediately shred that customers vital bits and pieces, don't write it down and keep it! Never been so disappointed and frustrated ordering a take out. Sending the chips back with the driver! Last time I'll use them for sure. Shoddy, very shoddy. Now been waiting 55 minutes since I made the call to "complain" and nobody has shown up. Was told 30 minutes when I placed first order! Arrived after 45. 20:43. Just cancelled order, no offer of refund, Disgusting. Just "Are you sure it's just been finished and cooked". I told them to give it away.

This was our first visit to this Chinese take-away and since this first visit it has now become the ONLY Chinese take-away we will use in Malvern!

Used this takeaway for years however seems to have gone downhill in the taste department lately. Curry sauce watery. Very bland. Get loads for your money however would prefer to have the quality of the past and not the quantity.

Fancied a Chinese and found this on the internet. The Food was fantastic. I do not like Prawn crackers, but I ate more than my share on this occasion. If you try it allow for the large portions!

the Hong Kong Chinese take away is not in the town centre its about 1 mile away in Barnards Green this place is alway pretty good been here afew times check it out.

This Chinese takeaway was recommended by a friend and it never disappoints. Always delicious! The delivery service is great and at £1 inexpensive compared to others. The service is always very quick, nice and friendly. Cannot fault them!

We have ordered deliveries from this restaurant and have always been very pleased with the service, the delivery , the food. Delivery service is only £1 and you get Free Prawn Crackers and Mini Spring Rolls if the order is more that £25.
