Hungs has always been good and is just as good under its new ownership. Used a couple of times collected and delivered and always on time. Shared what’s in my picture tonight amongst 6 people , 2 of which are visiting Japanese students and every dish good and everyone enjoyed.

Had a takeaway from here for first time last night. Staff so accommodating. Explained don't like prawns in spring roll, no problem- they made without for me. Had beef in black bean. Very tasty lovely pieces of beef. Noodles delicious too. Very friendly staff. Was lovely and clean and fresh. Will definitely use again.

They now do sushi! A lot of choices and reasonably priced. Had to go for my favourite, tuna rolls. Handmade in store daily Plus any sushi is half price after 8pm

Absolutely love the new lay out and the staff are so lovely. There is a new menu with so much more to choose from. I ordered the Beef Teriyaki on boiled rice with a portion of chips and it was absolutely amazing. Will definitely be having it again.

Been a customer for YEARS and tonight was the first time that all 5 of us are disgusted and could only eat a few mouthfuls. Not only was the food barely cooked, chicken anemic, chips raw, sausages squashy, but the price has increased by 15% since last week for the same order! As for whether the allergic instructions were adhered to, only time will tell, as it's only been minutes since we chucked the whole lot in the bin. Never again. This business has recently been taken over and it shows! Never again! We will take our custom elsewhere.

A visitor to the area that evening. Ordered a take away via the phone to collect. Food was both hot and tasty, we had the set meal for two and were both happy and agreed it was great value for the money. Would most definitely use them again if in Malvern.

Have had takeaways from here for many years (over 20!) and always find the food to be excellent, portions ample and price fair.

Food was delicious! We all enjoyed every bit of our food! The service was amazing and the food was ready so quickly. We will definitely be back.

Used to enjoy getting food from this place but recently it has really gone down hill. Had a couple of cold, awful takeaways from here. And a couple of incorrect orders. If you’re going to run a takeaway business in a cost of living crisis, you want to make sure the food is half decent. It’s just not. Much better takeaways out there, don’t bother ordering from here.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else, the chicken is such good quality here and everything full of flavour. Nowhere else like it!

Just awful! Chips refried about 5 times,curry sauce tasteless just disgusting never again! Hong Kong kitchen in barnards green far superior!

We have ordered takeaways many times. Not a single poor dish. Very authentic. Excellent value. Lots of great choice in Malvern, but this is best.

Lovely Chinese, me and my partner really enjoyed it. The 1/4 crispy duck was particularly lovely. Salt and pepper king prawns were a new one for me and I highly recommend them. Would definitely recommend, please don’t pay any attention to the negative reviews!

Thought the would try something new however the price was more than what we would normally pay. The food was terrible the ribs leaked and were bland the spring rolls were soggy they forgot the chicken balls so had to re deliver by the time they arrived they were stuck to the bag and were in a pool of grease. Wouldn’t recommend here to anyone there customer service is terrible as well

Regularly had takeaways from here for years, always great quality and service. Recommend salt & pepper chicken!

We had a takeaway from here last week and it was putrid. The ribs not only smelt rancid, they tasted as bad. The prawns were equally revolting and inedible. We actually kept the bulk of in case we were ill overnight and thankfully we weren’t. This is one to avoid if you value your health 🤮🤮

This is a local favourite of mine. The food is always delicious and fast. The service is friendly too! I would definitely recommend. Can't wait to visit again.

Food Good, the issue is When is if Open, tried to order to be told on their system Closed, this they have done before and so Unreliable. Shame as nearly every place is open as they state, must loose Customers.

I’m not a great fan of Chinese food but thought it would be a good change! The restaurant take away didn’t disappoint! The food was hot very tasty and as described in the menu. Good prices and well packaged. We will return.

Have eaten in and bought a takeaway from Hung's Kitchen. "Eat in" is quite basic in a canteen-style way which is nice and relaxed. Takeaway is efficient and tasty. Happy to use Hung's Kitchen whenever we want a Chinese in Malvern.

Our takeaway food seemed to be quite authentic and was full of flavour, I would recommend it if you're in the area. They do deliver but this may not be necessary if you're staying in town as the food retained it's heat incredibly well.

Been using it since it opened years ago in about 2005. Not seen a smile behind the counter yet, but maybe it’s just I’ve not caught them on a smiley day in 100 + visits. It’s basically a takeaway of very average standard which you can eat at a table if you want. With some candles background music & not too bright lighting, with attentive table service, it could be a lovely little place. As it is it feels a bit like your grandmas front room.

New resident in Malvern but the food was lovely. Not a bad price and very good service. Would like to see more choice of unique dishes i.e. Chilli chicken livers or sweet and sour not battered. All in all i will definitely use again. Good job guys!! Ps i am a retired chef so can be a little critical ☹☹

Came here from the Wetherspoon pub acros the road, where we were staying. Had a really fantastic meal served by a lovely lady.

The best Chinese in Malvern. Had home delivery and was given a time but arrived before that time. Hot and delicious

My son wanted to go here and so glad we did. It serves really fresh and tasty decent sized portions of Chinese food at fair prices. The food is not full of MSG, sugar or any other rubbish - instead it is high quality and really enjoyable. Highly recommended and have already returned since our first visit last week! On both occasions we ate in - its a basic, clean restaurant, and for what it's worth, there seems to be a lot of Asian customers eat in here which must be a good sign!

He estado comiendo comida para llevar china alrededor de Malvern durante los últimos 8 años tener al menos 2 para llevar un mes. Me considero un poco de todo y he probado conisor la comida para llevar. Me pareció que habían encontrado un pasable pero de repente fuimos regular cuesta abajo. Eso es cuando intenté tradicional cuelga.

This is a fab Chinese takeaway I love their food. The honey chicken is to die for. Totally recommend this place. I have never had a bad takeaway from them.

Rang for take away, at 18:00 & told a very polite lady I would collect at 20:45 Food ready dead on time. First time we've used H. K. Well impressed with service & food was excellent. WILL BE BACK SOON !

Tener a la izquierda el teatro que buscamos un lugar para tomar una comida rápida. Cocina de hung veía agradable y había variado menú para llevar, además de tener varias mesas, así que preguntamos si podíamos comer. Aunque era 22:30 y cierra a las 11:00 pm, la señora estaba más que dispuesto a complacernos, y no sólo nos sirvieron rápidamente, pero la comida estaba bien presentada y muy sabroso.

It could have been that I chose the wrong things but I didn't think the food was as good as it was last year..... there is plenty of choice though and the prices are reasonable

Good food, fast delivery kind staff. The food is cheap and therefore not the best quality but it fills you up very well and good to eat

Hemos estado utilizando la cocina de Hung regularmente en los últimos años un par de veces al mes.

Anda cocina no es su restaurante chino contemporáneo, aunque para ser correcto, en realidad es cocina cantonesa. Ofertas, predominantemente en platos de comida y mientras que en una situación privilegiada a Great Malvern, el comedor es muy sencillo y acogedor. Dicho esto, es limpio y era lo suficientemente cálida en nuestra visita. Están cerrados en un lunes y no 12 - 2 y 5 - 11 martes a sábado y mientras se abren en domingo's, no abren a la hora del almuerzo domingo en las vacaciones escolares.

Stopped in the hotel over the road and with Hungs Kitchen being opposite I couldn't resist popping over. You can eat in but really it is just a take away with a few tables and chairs inside. We ate in as we weren't really fussed by aesthetics and didn't have cutlery in our hotel room anyway.The menu was what you'd expect from a Chinese and did all the usual dishes. We went for Peking ribs, beef in Spicy and Sweet sauce, and Peking chicken. Peking sauce is a favourite of ours so didn't mind having it for starters and main.When we ordered they asked if we were sure we wanted the dishes with the same sauce and we said yes it was fine. What we didn't realise was that the sweet and spicy sauce was also exactly the same as the Peking. Has we known this we would not have ordered it 3 times!That aside we did quite enjoy and would do back, albeit having something different next time!

This restaurant/take-away is very vegan friendly, the staff are always helpful and courteous and the vegan options available are both delicious and inexpensive. Especially recommended are the mushroom curry and the special lunch option of spring rolls, vegetables, tofu and cashew nuts with rice, plus pot of jasmine tea. They are happy to comply with personal preferences and make dishes without sugar or MSG, etc., on request. Do not be put off by the modest interior - this place is a gem (and is also popular with local Chinese)!

Oh the reviews were good but food and ambience were below average. Service was good but think best to stick to pubs for local cuisine.

A must-visit while in Great Malvern,the food here is delicious & plentiful.The vegetable curry with rice is really tasty & the chips are chunky & delicious.The chicken & chips is really good also.Friendly & efficient staff ....& with the phone ringing constantly for takeaway orders & customers dining in,this is obviously a popular Chinese restaurant.Even though all the prices have gone up,it is still good value as the portions are quite big.I would recommend & I look forward to coming back.

Lovely food, quick delivery time, although £5 delivery cost was a little more than expected.Real shame that the spring rolls we used to order as a part of a set menu were amazing - big!, but have now shrunk, tiny like your little finger. May go elsewhere next time.

I have always thought all Chinese take always were the same. Hit or miss food of inconsistent quality. Then I had the pleasure of discovering Hungs Kitchen. This place is wonderful. Friendly staff and fantastic food. The quality is always of the highest standard and it is a pleasure to use them.Try the salt and pepper chicken if you you really want a treat.

Friendly quick and clean. Above average for Chinese takeaway - food didn't seem as greasy as I've experienced in other places.

Whether you have take away or eat in, this is lovely food at a reasonable price. Plenty of specials to complement the standard menu and the staff are lovely. If eating in, it's not licensed and the setting is more cafeteria than restaurant. Good place for inexpensive dining and it's near a few pubs.

We ordered roast duck in plum sauce, which was nice and juicy, and spicy shredded beef, which was also good. The order was placed at counter and dealt with quickly. I would order from here again.

A favourite place of mine when visiting Great Malvern,the staff are polite & welcoming & the food delicious & reasonably priced.You can eat in or takeaway.The floor has been carpeted since my last visit so it has a more cosy feel to it.Had vegetable curry & chicken fried rice with chips & curry sauce.Both meals were delicious & promptly served.The menu is varied & judging by the amount of phone calls & takeaways ordered while we were there is obviously very popular.whether resident or visitor I highly recommend this place for tasty Chinese food.I already plan to eat there again.

Clean restaurant with 5 star hygiene rating off the council which is important for me. Food was tasty with plenty for two. I called in for a takeaway for dinner. Chicken Chow Mein had good flavour with a nice spicy kick. King prawn and mushrooms excellent :) Give it a go!

Amazing food! We recently moved to Malvern and this has become a firm favourite! When we have friends stay they insist on Chinese from Hungs. Certainly best in the area of not the county! Truly great food cooked to perfection can't praise highly enough!

Hungs is the most consistent in the area. We cant afford to eat Chinese much but when we can we always go for Hungs. When we eat in I like to go for the Sheuzan chicken, freshly cooked and hot from the pan. Kim and Simon are lovely people.Thank you

The standard stuff is standard but if you go for the specials they are excellent. Nice staff and I like the cafe style

Don't be put off by the front of this restaurant, it looks like a take-away. It's small, not obvious, but worth staying to eat. The decor is a bit bland, but the food makes up for the lack of atmosphere in heaps.Great service, quick and friendly. Nice clean restaurant, well lit and busy with food orders for delivery and collection too, for a reason.The crispy duck was delicious, nice and juicy meat without any nasty bits, good thick sauce and fresh veg too. The main courses do not disappoint. Good sized portions and very reasonably priced. Shame the only drinks available were beer in cans or soft drinks. Could do with having wine etc. available too.I'd definitely go back, good food, quick friendly service and easy to park outside as well.

Don't be put off by the takeaway decor and basic tables. The food is tasty and portions are large. The staff are attentive, even when the phone is ringing a lot for takeaways.They do beers by the can, but the menu is varied and has the usual suspects like crispy duck, chicken and black bean, egg fried rice, etc. It is opposite the Foley Arms Hotel and pub, so handy for those evening munchies.Give it a try, it was good as a sit down restaurant.

Had always been put off by the spartan decor of this place but a friend assured me the food was v good. So after a long week we had a take away about nine on a Friday evening . While we waited ten minutes the phone never stopped ringing. The food was delicious the best Chinese we have had in Malvern . I would not to eat the premises as it looks like a school canteen,the lighting is awful too. However I would definitely recommend trying it.

Very convenient to eat here as it was opposite the hotel I was staying in.Staff very friendly & efficient.Food tasty & large portions.Good value for money.No music or radio on in the background which made the atmosphere a bit too quiet,but I would recommend it for the food alone.

Only ordered a couple of things, just needed some refuelling late in the evening after a generous pub lunch - quick service, lovely honey roasted ribs, special fried rice was fine, etc - you can also get a beer, always a bonus.You are sitting in a bare room of a takeaway for the restaurant bit, but central Malvern has no Chinese restaurants - and this does the job for a quick tasty 15 min stop gap.Don't expect - table cloths, dimmed lighting, or a wine list.Don't be surprised by - the fact that it is not really a restaurant.Do expect - fast service, generous portions, a place to sit and a smile.
