Great Wall in Wychavon

Ok but not great. Two dishes tasted the same. Not like it used to be. I won’t come back, we’ve had two lots of take aways now which weren’t as the food used to be, which was excellent. It’s just ok now.

Honestly unreal, best vegetable spring rolls ive ever had, was surprised at how fast the service was and staff were very polite

I hate leaving bad reviews and always try to be even-handed, but have no choice in this case. We used to be regular users of this takeaway, but stopped a few years ago as quality had dropped. Tried it again this week to see if things had improved -- they hadn't. In fact, I would rate the meal we had as possibly the worst Chinese takeaway we've ever had. Cannot point out a specific, because it was all poor. Most of it got left on the plates and discarded. We will not be trying again - ever.

The gentleman who takes phone orders needs to change his rude and abrupt attitude and the same when you collect your order. Unfortunately for you at The Greatwall we have plenty of choice in Droitwich to change

Had a family buffet for dad’s birthday. Selection of starters and mains all of which were excellent. Highly recommend the salt and chilli ribs. Overly generous with on the house prawn crackers!! Great experience, very fast preparation.

Was once the best Chinese in Droitwich. Unfortunately no longer. Haven’t used for a while as previously disappointed. However gave another shot last night and still poor.

I ordered via the telephone. They were busy, this I understand. I only ordered one starter and a main for myself. the estimated 30 min wait till from order to collection was ok and I arrived after that. What was disappointing was when I got to the counter, I paid and was only then told I would have to wait another 10 mins. It was very busy and awkward social distancing. I actually ended up waiting nearly 30 mins in the shop. I wanted a refund and to go but I would only have delayed other frustrated people so I just won’t go back. As for the food the king prawn curry was not good, huge amounts of onion that were barely cooked, and I like onion but jeez. The prawns were nice but it felt rushed and thrown together. A recommendation for the staff....be honest with your customers, if you had told me an hour when I called in I still may have been happy to wait in my own house. I heard every call you took was the same response...about 30 mins which was just lies. You have lost my custom because of it and I have used you for 10 years.

Awful food never again will I eat from great wall everything ended up in the bin!! Dovey all the way..Dont know why I even bothered

Used for years and thought we’d brave collecting, not been anywhere during lockdown. Sorry we bothered, had to throw most of it away. Dreadful!

Ok so we had a take away tonight to celebrate our daughter’s achievement. We have been using The Great Wall for YEARS and it’s always been consistently excellent. Tonight though, it was not good - went into Facebook and apparently it’s changed ownership although I don’t know that for sure. But, lots of other comments were negative. The sweet and sour chicken was nice as was the lemon chicken, but everything else was AWFUL. So disappointed

We get a takeaway from here around once a month and it is always excellent. Best phone in an order then pick up 10 minutes later. Everything is good so give it a go.

Fast service from placing the order by phone. Hot food and all dishes tasted great. Excellent value for money.

Ordered sweet and sour chicken....yummy! Chicken tasted lovely and wasn't overcooked. Batter was just right and the sauce was lovely...I would have liked more pineapple as I love that in the sauce. Rice was good too.

Always quick, fresh food and lots of veggies in it. Decent price and easy parking. Not sloppy food and menu extensive. Only use the one in Droitwich.

Had the meal for 2 and they changed one item for us which was great. The meal was really good. Quite tasty with the biggest bag of prawn crackers I've ever seen. One thing spoilt the meal which is why I've not given 5 out of 5. The beef satay was so sharp and spicy it ruined the rest of what was a great meal. If you have the satay be warned. It's hot. Rest was great.

No estoy seguro si tienen un nuevo chef, pero la comida tonights fue la última que tendremos de esta comida para llevar. La carne crujiente chili estaba pasada. Conseguimos gambas chop suey" al platillo en vez de chow mein y las gambas eran muy difíciles. Pato crujiente no era nada de eso. El bateador en el limón el pollo no estaba apegado a la carne pero saliendo en terrones de pasada. Solía ser bueno, así que no estoy seguro de qué pasó?

Lovely food and great service, never had to complain, been going here for 20 + years. Great take away..

Comida para llevar china muy mediocre. La comida era barato pero pobre. Mi mujer pidió gambas chow mein, que era básico: fideos, cebollas, unos brotes de soja y langostinos (pasado). Pedí curry de carne y huevo frito con arroz. El curry sabía un poco como salsa de aguadas con salsa bisto (era bien) pero el huevo en el arroz era muy cocidas, como se hubiera mantenido caliente durante muchas horas. Mi esposa tenía un estómago y corrió al baño a las seis de la mañana y yo no me sentí genial todo el día. Con tantos sitios de comida para llevar a un minuto de aquí, no me compro este lugar de nuevo.

2.5 hace años nos trasladamos a la zona de droitwich y estábamos nerviosos para probar comida china para llevar, después de haber pasado una magnífica uno de nuestro casco antiguo. Sin embargo, no debería haberme preocupado tan pronto como pedimos y probado desde hace años este lugar 2.5 inicialmente - la comida es simplemente excepcional. A menudo nos Pida comida para llevar aquí y a lo largo de estos años no hemos tenido una mala y el servicio es igual de fantásticos. Siempre rápido, caliente y con ingredientes frescos en buenas porciones de tamaño medio. Vale la pena!

I have been having using the Great Wall for years and it rarely disappoints. Enjoyed a lovely hot and tasty meal last night. I just wish it delivered!

I've used the Great Wall for about 10 years now and have never had a bad meal from here. Food is really good quality, highly recommended.
