I don’t think I’ve ever tasted a Chinese so bad, they’re all bad in Droitwich but I hadn’t tried this one in years so thought I’d give it another chance. Literally the nastiest food ever, nothing had flavour apart from the prawn crackers. Egg fried rice was clumped together and tasted like mush and am the curry sauce was congealed and had a taste not like any other curry sauce I’ve ever tried. Chinese is our favourite takeaway but after tonight I think I’d rather cook. We ended up putting everything in the bin and having toast because that was the better option.

Had takeaway tonight. Used thus place on and of for many years but tonight was shocking. Maybe new owners I don't know but will never use again. Portion of spring rolls where hollow spicy wings where battered small drumsticks. They forgot to put the Singapore in the chow mein and the beef fried rice was just some bits of beef thrown on top of rice. Another rubbish Chinese to add to the growing list in droitwich 😖😖😖

Absolutely disgusting! Our usual Chinese takeaway has gone downhill so decided to give this a try for our weekend family Chinese.. never again! Under cooked chips, cardboard chow mein with no flavour, cardboard dried up rice, lumpy curry containing something resembling chicken and chicken balls full of soggy undercooked batter with a slither of something resembling chicken again! All thrown away and a complete waste of money! Should be closed down!

1st time trying here and wasn't disappointed...only tried here because panda has got so bad lately...Will definitely be back again

Peacock is a very good authentic Chinise takeaway in the heart of droitwich. Food is at a good price, always warm and always fantastic. Check them out they accept both cash and card. They are a family run establishment giving excellent standards of food. Ken, Carla and Peter provide a friendly service and always have a smile. Check them out

In fairness probably the worst chinese i've had in years, wannton soup tasted dreadful- bin so chow and chow mein was scraggy meat and tasted warmed up! Honestly may as well have chucked £25 up the road 😞

We've been using The Peacock for many years and have always been very happy with the food. Good prices and excellent service.

Never used Peacocks before, but nipped in for Noodles and prawns. Got home put pj's on, sat down opened up carton. Looked burnt and dried out. Me being Me, not bothered about getting changed. Walked up road in housecoat and pj's, and took food back. Explained burnt. Then had older guy and woman SCREAMING AT ME. IT IS NOT BURNT ITS SOY SAUCE. The woman then called me an OLD C---T. Do your self a favour and cook your own food xxx

This has to be the best in town we always use the peacock we have tried others but always find the peacock the best for quality and value for money

Best Chinese take away in Droitwich in my opinion. Meat is always high quality (can't say that for some of the others), very quick service, good prices and friendly staff. The don't accept card so remember to bring cash!

We have been enjoying food from here for years and ordering for a party of eight recently added some new dishes to our standard favourites. All were equally delicious and we will expand our ordering repertoire in future! Never had a poor meal from here and great service from Peter as always. Thank you.

I have been a customer for about 20 years. There is plenty of choice. it is always ready and hot as promised. Lovely selection of dishes to choose from. Mr Lee took over from his father a few years back and the quality remains high.

Hands down best in town. That’s why he has no internet presence. He doesn’t need it’s a no nonsense old style fabulous chinese takeaway. Been there decades. Very polite owner, super guy. I’ll put the menu on as otherwise you can’t see it, as not on internet. I hope you all enjoy it

Takeaway Disappointing poor Quality curry was non curry flavour with a nasty after taste kick in throat. Noodles bland. Tasted like the mushrooms and water chestnuts were either going out of date or just cheap tinned as had a horrible taste which ruined the sauce and meat which would have been quite nice as meat seemed quite good quality. We through away 90% of the meal so money wasted. Shame really as it was a lovely friendly place shame bout the quality of the food! Rice was ok and ribs apart from they were really salty.

Been going to Pete for years he's a lovely chap and makes great food always fast fresh and warm! Has a good variety of dishes and they're all very good if I had to pick a fault it would have to be the BBQ sauce sadly it doesn't taste like normal BBQ sauce but everything else is spot on!

We have always used this takeaway, not sure why I have not review it before. Never had a bad meal, friendly owners know us by name. Good choice, best portions, lovely and piping hot. Happy to take telephone orders so it's ready when you arrive. Can't fault it. Been customers here for 25 years.

Had a lovely meal beef chow mein was lush plenty of meat and we had curry and chips to go with it. Great size portions so 1 meal did us both so turned out an even bigger bargain! Have had a few meals from here and have always been good
