Buffet Island in Birmingham

We went party of 5 for my daughter 12th,the food was dry,well over cooked and some stuff was just to spicey for children,I also have autistic child so she ended up hardly eating anything,the oldest female memeber of staff then proceed to shout saying the kids have wasted to much food even though the bill was about to be over £100 we explained why she shouted again for a fair few people to hear that we should pay more for the 2 plates that wernt touched due to taste and spice,she then shut up when we told her to go and give it to the homeless as the bill will be paid anyway doesn't matter if we wasted food we can't eat,I still paid for it all,again like I said it was my daughters 12th so she obviously ruined the atmosphere we left after that,it's disgusting place got worse over the years and that staff memeber should not be serving specially to children,nasty women.

It was 12:30pm in the afternoon and only half of the buffet was open and the food seemed like it was reheated up from last night, I wasn’t impressed at all. We went last week at around the same time and it was amazing and the food tasted so fresh, with as good as a full buffet of food. What a change from one weekend to the next

I would give zero stars if i could.Very poor food selection and the food available was not very good.Overpriced for offerings. Will never come back

Our first time to Buffet Island and last, food was ok but the flat cokes at £3.10 each were a rip off, my grandsons apple juice at £3.20 was terrible, he left it. £20 per adult and £10 a child not to bad but some of the food particularly the ribs were to fatty and close to inedible, unless of course you enjoy fat. Might of been lucky with the chips hot and fresh, good selection of sweets to finish but our biggest gripe was the rip off flat expensive cokes

We went to buffet island thinking it was halal and it definitely is not, this was confirmed with the manager. The food is mediocre, sadly not worth the price. Rooms are bland and the table we pre booked for 10 was a tight squeeze. Would not go back.

Excellent food, attentive staff, extremely reasonable prices, recommended. We arrived at opening time and within half an hour it was very busy but not overcrowded.

We went here as a larger group for dinner. My family always go here for a meet up. The food was amazing, such a choice of dishes and deserts. The staff were all so friendly and cheerful too. I cannot wait to visit the area again and this will have to be on my visit list.

Service is friendly, price is good. Noodles were nice but the chicken was tough in some dishes. Dessert were ok and pancake was nice.

It is sad when I have to write a bad review of a place that used to be so good. It had been a while since our last visit to Buffet Island due to once again a bad experience. We chose to go back as we had saved up some money and decided to go out. Upon arrival, we were greeted with someone (who over the years we got friendly with) telling us that the restaurant was VERY cold. We had booked and were there and to find somewhere else at that point would have meant going back in the cold and driving round so we went in. They were right, the restaurant was very cold but we were however warned and I guess we could have left even though that would have disrupted us more. Not known to us if the heating was faulty or just not turned on earlier but there was cold air blowing down in the food area straight on to us as we went round. If the heating was faulty, maybe turn off the cold air at least. The plate warmers were not great either with just a little bit of heat and in such a cold restaurant the plates would need to be hot to give the food a bit of a chance. The food did not taste as fresh and certain foods were like they were left from earlier. It was just not right and there are other places that are way better for a bit cheaper but we wanted to give this place another chance as we were one of the first customers to use the place when it opened as a buffet. I used to work in the building with my dad before it was a buffet so I wanted to see what it was turned into. We had family parties and all sorts there but lately it has just gone downhill. Since the carpet was removed it had a cold atmosphere in there. Our last visit was with little deserts and this one the food was just not nice. We actually did not have enough food till make it worth it but to be honest I would rather pay to eat somewhere else then to continue to eat here tonight. I mentioned it to the guy who over the years had got to know and he acted shocked and said, you said that last time, but the reason why we said that last time was because it was also bad. Another female member of the team who we got on well with said something to him and then in my face they chose to speak Chinese even though both members of staff could speak English well. This to me is totally rude and obviously so I would not understand but I did hear the word "AGAIN". She replied back saying, they always complain. Since our last visit here before tonight was 14th February 2022 for a valentines meal I am unsure how she can say we always complain. We complained back then and we complained today. With the closure of the Queslett Buffet Island I would have thought that they would have put the effort back into this one. During our visit I went to get pancakes and whilst the member of staff who makes the pancakes gets them right, I still do not know why they do not give her a plate warmer so she does not have to put the pancake straight onto a cold plate. It really does not make sense. A few of us had to step back as a guy came out the kitchen shouting at the lady (it may be his way and due to the language barrier we did not know what he said but the harshness of his voice made a few of us step back). We never bothered with any more food, nor did we bother with desert, so tonight they made their money on us. I would have not paid but I just gave the money to the guy at the door and walked out. We said that we would not come back and the female member of staff was saying "Thank You", which came over rude after she had just been pretty mean. There are so many other buffet's out there and these people have to be at the top to keep customers. We did give them a go again but it appears that they do not care as much. Quickly going back to the temperature of the restaurant, they were using small house heaters and the thermostat of the heater was set so low it was blowing cold air. It is also a shame that restaurant do not have some sort of thing in place for the people who's kids need to have a phone on. We were surrounded by a few people who's kids were watching phones with full volume. A pretty bad experience, it is a shame when a good place goes bad. Really hope they turn this around but as for us we will not be returning again. Looking at other reviews on here, others are getting the same thoughts

There is a range of choice but the quality of meat is not as good as in other restaurants. Service is generally good but sometimes can take a while to get a drink.

We decided to go to Buffet Island for a family meal on 30/8/22, before setting off we checked opening times and got there just before it was due to open. There were a few other people waiting in the car park when we got there, however when looking in through the front window we noticed there were no staff, no lights on and no food set up (it was due to open within minutes) we found this all a bit odd. I checked again online and social media and could not find anything about it being closed on this date so we decided to give them a call- however this went straight to voicemail. In the meantime more people were turning up and asking us if they were open. After waiting a good 15 minutes past the time they were meant to be open we decided to give up and go to another local buffet restaurant. We were just so disappointed that there was no sign on the door or message on social media to say that they were closed- waste of time!

Went to Buffett Island on Friday 12 August my wife’s friend came down from Newcastle for a visit so we thought we would have a nice treat, previously booked the table for 17:30 as we like to eat early all was well to begin with staff were pleasant, we were shown to our table and ordered drinks after which it went down hill, sign saying be careful of Hot plates They were stone cold, Onions Rings Cold, Spring rolls Cold, Mushrooms Luke warm, also the Ribs were dried and tasteless,our friend went for Chicken Curry when she cut into the meat it was pink in colour tried another few pieces which was also pink this put us off trying any more of the dishes, spoke to the waitress who brought the manager over he looked at the chicken and said it was not raw they purchase their chicken already cooked which surprised us, he made no other comment and left. We decided to try and forget the meal and went for the sweets it was the Poorest selection I have ever seen in a Chinese Buffet 1 Chocolate cake was described as Black Forest Nope it was chocolate, I would seriously not return to this particular restaurant in the future and would certainly Not Recommend this to anyone else.

Used to go here all the time prior to covid. This was the best, original chinesse buffet in Birmingham and used to be amazing! Decided to visit again last weekend after years. Was a little disappointed as i remember how nice it used to be. The chips are rock solid here, i don't know how they fry them but even the fresh batch they brought out were hard, went on a Saturday lunchtime which was very busy as you would expect but it was hard to catch the staff attention to order drinks. Not a great selection of dishes, mostly chicken and like 6 different foods with the salt and pepper flavour. Not sure i would visit here again now as there are better buffets available not too far away.

First & LAST time at Buffet Island Website said plenty of Vegetarian options ? What Rice Noodles & Peppered mushrooms. One option for Veg in desserts & chips were so dry could not swallow as if they have been refried again but Most shocking is when I went to settle my bill I was charged 2 adult prices. I told the person behind bar my son is only 11 years old & was told kids from the age of 10 get Charged Adult prices. I thought kids were charged Adult prices from 18 Not 10.

We went to buffet Island at 9 as the website stated they were open till 11:30 p.m. we got there yeah and was told to look at the food as there was less than an hour left it wasn't much food left and it looks like it has been handled by a lot of people before us but as it was our anniversary and didn't want to upset the Mrs I agreed we would stay not only was we charged full price but my missus also had to show the guy at the till the website on her phone phone to show him what his own website was stating about closing times the upside was not many people in there at that time of night but but the food was poor and the shandy we both had tasted weird and flat.

Very 1st visit to Buffet Island, I wasn't sure what to expect, staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, and I will definitely be going back, as this was great value for money.

Excellent food, great mix of meat/fish/veggie. Only downside was being told on arrival that we only had 75 minutes at our table despite having made a reservation, but we had a great night anyway.

Booked Saturday evening, for children and adults. It was very very busy, no free tables. Very loud! When we went up for food, had to wait around for food that had ran out. Big queue at the part where you can get your meat grilled or get pancakes made. Food was ok, but think the £16.99 is overpriced for what it is. Think it’s bad that 10yr olds and over also have to pay adult prices. The price wouldn’t be so bad if you got a bottomless cold drink with it too. Car park was really busy and it’s not the biggest.

Visited Saturday gone when it opened at 5:30 without pre-booking and was told we could have a table for an hour which to be honest was long enough as how packed it got I really wouldn’t have wanted to be in there a minute longer! We were shown to our table and the staff were friendly enough and plentiful. The food was fresh and as soon as the trays were opening the staff were replenishing them. However, the food at Buffet Island has remained the same in all of the many years I have been going pre-covid and the vegetarian selection could definitely do with updating. I found myself eating plate and plate of rice noodles and chips with either curry/sweet and sour sauce. Food which I could have ordered from a take away at half the price. Price wise it’s not the cheapest and I could think of other places I’d rather eat. Packed to the rafters-covid central. If you’re paranoid about catching the virus definitely avoid.

I visited here tonight, myself and 3 children. We all really enjoyed our visit, clean restaurant, friendly, kind staff (my 8 year old commented how nice a member of staff was whilst we was sat at the table, to which the other children both said how when they were going to choose their food the other staff were all friendly and helped them). There was a wide selection of food, my girls can be very picky but it is great for them to try new food, and pick and choose what they want and eat a full meal (I regularly moan at how I’ve bought them a meal that has hardly been touched so this works!) But ultimately they really enjoyed the dessert bars, whilst they couldn’t eat another thing of the mains they made room for plenty of ice cream and chocolate covered marshmallows! We were really happy with our visit and will definitely be returning. ⭐️

The food here is REALLY bad. It’s greasy lukewarm at best (and that’s the “fresh”stuff). The chicken was spongy, the noodles clumped together and the desert section looked like a road accident. The serving utensils don’t ever get switched, they end up with a buildup...

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G food, friendly staff. Freshly cooked to the highest standards. We visited them at lunchtime and the selection was still more than enough. Can barely walk out to the car. Highly recommended.

I went to Buffet Island two days before my Birthday January 2019. I was so happy to be there, as I walked In they were already playing happy birthday, to another guest.I knew I was meant to be there . After enjoying the buffet, fresh hot food and plenty variety, I said to one of the waitresses it was my birthday, in two days and how I was sad I had timed it wrong, and how much I enjoyed being there.I had eaten my fill and twenty minutes later, I heard the famous happy birthday to you, as I looked up the waitress came around with a cake and candles and presented me with the cake, I said Thank you so much, I couldn’t say how stuffed I was. I was pleased I was in a nice place, with such good hospitality.Thank you Buffet Island . Good old Birmingham always pleasing their customers .

Attentive staff and good food in smart surroundings. What more can you ask? All food is well displayed and kept hot. Buffet self-serve means you get just what you want.

Been here on a few occasions, and normally it's pretty good, but on this occasion the trays all seemed to be either empty or not far off. Not as big a choice as normal either, not sure if it's just because it was a Sunday, hope it's better if we go again

Me and Becky went here last night and came away stuffed and smiling. This staff were very friendly and as usual removed any old bowls and plates. It is a bit more expensive for a Saturday night however still worthwhile. The food was generally ok however, just like all buffets it is hit and miss if you get the fresh stuff. My favourite were the barbecue ribs and worst thing were the crab sticks that were very dry. Well worth it though

Amazing selection of Chinese food, really amazing value on the food. Can get really busy so reservation may be an idea. Loved it.

Leí algunas críticas y era un poco reacio a ir a almorzar el domingo, sin embargo, mis temores eran infundados, la zona de descanso era encantadora, el personal era muy atento y la comida era deliciosa. Podría haber comido las costillas y la carne crujiente de chile rallado, los champiñones de sal y pimienta estaban deliciosos, nos vemos pronto.

La comida de compromiso mía y de mis socios fue reservada aquí con 3 semanas de anticipación, llegamos temprano pero solo para esperar una hora. Una vez que nos sentamos, nos dijeron que tendríamos que irnos antes de las 8 p.m., teniendo en cuenta que no nos sentaríamos hasta las 7 p.m. A las 8 pm nos apuraron, aunque la mayoría de las personas y los niños seguían comiendo. La gente había viajado durante más de una hora para una ocasión especial. No volveré a comer aquí de nuevo. .

I must say i didn't expect much seeing some of the previous reviews, but the place was nice, lovely ambience, staff were on the ball and welcoming. The food was first class chinese fare.

Went in for lunch just after 12. Menu was restricted (about 1/3rd) but it does state that on their website and it is cheaper at lunchtime. Never been before and had to ask what the protocol was! Food on offer was lovely and hot. Seemed to top up fairly regularly. Overall area looked clean. They were really good at taking away empty plates etc. Toilets were a bit dated.

We were attending a show at the NEC and googled an all you can eat Chinese close(ish) by. This one had great reviews so we decided to try it. We were so NOT disappointed!

Booked for four as Birthday treat, was not disappointed. Quickly seated, lovely helpful staff. Masses of good fresh hot food. So much to choose and a live cooking station. Topped up regularly with fresh food. Banana fritters were to die for!! Chocolate fountain , loads of desserts. Good price. No complaints. Will definitely go again and take more of the family. Went there yesterday after the cinema, I hadn’t been to this location for a little while. A beautiful use of a pub building with a reasonable sized car park.

First visit to this restaurant wasn't impressed with the booking system. Booked table on line Friday for Sunday afternoon, did not receive a confirmation email so rang them Sunday morning to confirm yes it was booked for three o clock arrived at the restaurant and they said no booking. But they sorted it out must say after all that the food was very good lots of choice and it was delicious would definitely recommend if you like Chinese food. There is an English option available

Went for 4 for 3 offer, phoned before I went and was not told to book. When it was pay time was told a booking was needed but had already told staff were here for offer. Manager was very rude and said it was our fault for not phoning, told us not to return and made a comment regarding “God” due to her not explaining the offer properly. Appalled with the attitude she gave and will not want to return to such disgraceful mannerism.

This buffet has a wide variety of chinese dishes alongside salads, deserts, sushi and a grill service with a chef. A bar to quench your thirst with a good selection of wines and spirits. The food is of good taste. A good place to take your family or friends for a nice meal. I visited with my family on my trip to Drayton Manor.

Called in this lovely clean restaurant for dinner. We were welcomed by the friendly staff. The food was really good, hot and plenty of choice on offer plus refilled often . Well worth a visit,we will look forward to go back there when we are in the area again.

Lovely food and great selection. Staff were courteous. However, Lack of atmosphere and dining area too cold due to air conditioning. Maybe some ambient music would improve clinical atmosphere? All in all very good. Food was tasty, restaurant clean and toilets were clean.

Our son wanted to visit for his birthday, we hadn't been for a while so thought why not. We were seated as soon as we arrived at 12.15, the restaurant was quite. There was a good selection of dishes on offer at lunchtime and the price was reasonable. They did start getting busy after 1pm so glad we went early.

Had a lovely meal here with family. Plenty of choice but it was very noisy at the start of our meal with a few very large groups. All the food was hot and filled up regularly and a great choice of puddings too. Drinks were OK too.

Lovely meal here again. Staff lovely, very inexpensive, lots of different dishes to choose from as well as desserts and salad options. could do more sushi but otherwise great place.

Our first time visiting here on years.

My family and I booked for 5 O'clock, arrived early and expected to be seated. Despite plenty of free tables being available we were asked to wait along with many others in the lobby. One customer actually said to a member of staff anyone seated before 5 paid the lunchtime price the staff member said it was half past 5 the customer said he had seen it stated on the website. We were eventually seated at 5 past 5, there appeared to be no one was checking the levels of food. A family member waited 10 minutes for duck after asking a member of staff. Another family member went to go to get a chow mein at the live cooking station it was meant to open at 5 but eventually opened at 25 past 5. Staff had to be asked to replenish ice cream and the desserts. The toilets were not clean and outdated. In the cubicles there was a hole in the door that was stuffed with tissue paper.

Me and my partner came here this afternoon as I thought I could do with getting out of the house for lunch as I have just lost my nan. On arrival we was shoved in the corner because we had a baby and car seat. The man got very cross with us as we didn't want to sit in the corner when they were various tables that could accommodate a baby chair. So we finally found a table to sit at and the man walked off and seemed very annoyed and moody. We ate food. Food was okay for buffet, drinks were loaded with ice though. The staff walk around and it's very intrusive. I understand they are collecting plates but I just felt like we was being watched for some reason. On leaving, there is a lovely lady on the bar but the man who I believe is a manager as he was the only one wearing a grey shirt, he followed me from my table to the bar (while my partner was still at the table sorting the baby) to pay for my meal and literally made me pay for my bill away from where you would normally pay so I felt very isolated and like he thought I was some criminal. There were a group of 8 people in front and me waiting patiently to pay, But he literally dived over to me and shoved the card machine in my hand. Wouldn't go here again because they have no customer service skills and succedeeded in ruining my day. No smiles not even a receipt for the bill when we left.

The Buffet here is a bit hit and miss.

As always food is amazing , a good choice to suit everyone ,staff pleasant and nice atmosphere. Visited at lunch time a good quality meal for all the family at a good price

Al descubrir que nuestro restaurante chino favorito en Birmingham se había cerrado, probamos Buffet Island. Primero lo bueno. Excelente servicio por personal amable y eficiente. El baño (para hombres) estaba muy limpio y olía fuertemente a cloro, lo cual era un indicio de buena limpieza.

En la calle, las buenas noticias, reservamos para una mesa de 7 y llegamos a las 6 de la tarde y tenía muchas ganas de pasar un buen rato con mi esposa, mis hijos y mi cuñado y mi cuñada.

Vine aquí hoy había 5 de nosotros. la comida estaba fría cuando nos quejamos el personal dijo que iban a revisar pero no se apopogise. luego un miembro del personal dejó caer los platos en el suelo. Justo al lado de un niño y se alejó. otro miembro del personal lo recogió y le dije que ni siquiera se disculpó con la niña que podría haber recibido platos rotos sobre ella. el personal dijo que no hablaba inglés, lo vimos tomando pedidos de clientes. no ha aprendido la palabra lo siento!

Generally prefer the one on the Queslett road as it is closer to home and i think the food is slightly better. However the service here is better and the food is good.

We took our mom for a mothers day treat, we booked the table as it's very popular and can get busy. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is always excellent. Well worth a visit.

Have been here several times over the last few years, food is lovely, staff are nice but Manager seriously lacks people skills! She should be on the door as Security not walking amongst diners making out like everyone’s trying to put food in their bags (lmao) or sneaking in diners!

We have not been to Buffet Island before and found it to be a lovely and clean restaurant, good selection of food, try the BBQ ribs, the meat fell of the bone. staff where polite and cleared up quickly, we will definitely go there again.

Nice food more variety than other buffets I have been to. Staff quick to clean tables and very pleasant

The food and cost was actually very reasonable. I booked for a child and got charged for a adult meal (my son is 10), we didn’t get a warm welcome and going pointed to our table, we were hassled 4 times to pay the bill, they brought it before we asked and on two occasions they brought over the card machine, I hadn’t seen my friend for ages and we aware having a natter, not eat and go. I asked for a receipt and the lady tutted and it was defiantly an effort and threw the bill at me. Bad manners, we won’t be back

This is the second time I've visited this venue the first time was fourteen years ago my 40th birthday, horrible experience [Yuk] My brother's convinced me to try again & I was pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff hot food that tasted fantastic & a wide variety to choose from. Reasonably priced buffet. Don't tell me it's taken them fourteen years to get it right. Definitely recommended this place now. You are forgiven for messing up my 40th birthday

Booked in advance for 15 people including one child who would need a high chair on Saturday at 7pm. On arrival we were asked if there was any chance anyone had dropped out as they hadn't got a table for 15 people, I replied all 15 are here. The gentlemen said stand over there and we will try to sort out. Very busy so we huddled by the bar, another lady went up and she had booked for 10 guests and he said the same to her had any dropped out as didn't have a table big enough to seat. We got seated after about half hour and it was a round table and they had pushed a square table next to it, we didn't mind all squashing on to these tables, but no high chair and all staff vanished. We went and found a high chair ourselves as didn't want to bother anyone as could see they were very busy. No staff came to us all the time we was there to get drink orders so we all had to keep going to the bar to get refreshments, table wasn't cleared away to the end. We didn't complain just thought this is fine but what I didn't appreciate at the end of the meal, I can only think it was the Manager came up to say who has organised this meal and gave me the bill. So we had no service all night but surprisingly they were soon there at the end of the meal. The Food was okay so if you feel like going and there is only two to four people in your group and you don't mind going to the bar it will be fine but avoid booking if you are a large group.

Of course by now everyone is aware of, and knows what to expect from an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet.

To be spoilt with choice and beautiful food is always guaranteed to be supplied here. Doesnt make u feel rushed and it is a relaxed atmoshphere,

The lunch time menue has not changed for months.its the same boring food week after week. Please give people a different choice once in a while other wise can't see the point of comming back

We visited for buffet just after opening time, which is probably the best time to go. It's not to busy, easy to find car parking spaces, and all the food has just been cooked fresh and hasn't sat around for a long time.

Tanto mi compañero como yo hemos estado yendo a Buffet Island por más de 5 años. Solían ser mejillones con cáscara y langostinos y una buena selección de comida caliente, pero ahora se ha vuelto "terrible". Es una verdadera pena, ya que este lugar tiene HIT THE PITS, le pregunté a mi compañero a dónde quería ir para su cumpleaños y dijo en cualquier lugar que no fuera BUFFET ISLAND. Cada vez que vamos a la suya, una excusa por qué las cosas son tan malas. La última vez que fuimos, le pedí que me devolviera el dinero y me dijeron "NO", TENGA CUIDADO. . . No vayas . . Tu lo lamentas

La selección de comida no es enorme pero muy bien cocinada. La comida estaba caliente. Bastón muy cortés. El lugar se mantiene limpio a pesar de que era un domingo por la tarde muy concurrida. Amplio aparcamiento exterior. Está en un antiguo pub, por lo que el diseño del restaurante no es estándar para un buffet chino. El servicio es realmente bueno.

He venido tantas veces al buffet de la isla y, honestamente, puedo decir que es un auténtico gran buffet chino. Fui con mi compañero el otro día alrededor de las 7 pm y la comida estaba caliente y la comida fresca seguía saliendo. No era un momento en el que tuviéramos que pedir más comida, etc. como otros buffets. Es más pequeño que Ming moon y otros restaurantes, sin embargo, hay dos ubicaciones para este buffet en Birmingham. Tienen un montón de asientos y un bar de ensaladas! I have been a regular customer here for many years now and consider this to be a restaurant of good and consistent quality. I would not say it is high end in terms of food quality but it is very tasty and many dishes to choose from. Good for group bookings like birthday parties or office lunches.

We have eaten at this Buffet Island many times. Although the staff are excellent, friendly and polite, the standard of the food has become poor. Cold wet plates, tasteless ribs, inedible dried up chicken skewers and no satay sauce on our last 3 visits, poor desserts and very tired scant fresh fruit ... no strawberries in August? Come on! (we have kept trying hoping the food would return to it's previous high standard) We went on this last visit to take advantage of their 15th Birthday offer of 3 meals for the price of 4. Only to find that because we had booked our table less than 24hrs before we couldn't have the discount! If they carry on like this will they make their 20th Birthday?

The food is absolutely gorgeous and there is so much to choose from! I eat Chinese a lot and this was up there as one of the best! Loved the range of desserts and sushi as well! Loved loved loved how there was a chocolate fountain!

Me and Becky visited for lunch and we are leaving with happy faces and full stomachs. The staff are always polite and very efficient and the food was fresh, plentiful and at the right temperature. This restaurant is always great value for money

This was our 2nd visit & took family this time.

Took the family to this Chinese buffet which had a large sign facing the main road which advertised that four people could eat for the price of three. After finishing the average meal we were presented with the bill with no discount applied. We enquired about the offer but were told that we should’ve booked and needed to read the small print on the road sign outside. The female manager told us ‘we just did the sign it how the English do it... you should read the terms and conditions’ and just turned her back. Poor customer service and won’t return.

Hubby and I were considering a trip to Wing Wah Nechells and after reviewing what others said we decided to look elsewhere. Found this place on 23/07 and decided to check what it had to offer and were pleasantly surprised! Arrived at 530pm which is when the dinner service starts, initially thought it wasn’t good but discovered how good it was. Servers were pleasant and food was all fresh. Prawns were fresh and I would know this as I am allergic to un fresh prawns. Hubby was very satisfied as food was replenished frequently. Would definitely visit again soon!

Have been here a few times now.

Went in at 8:30 on Sunday to be told they’re closing early because they can’t be f**k to refill food up. Moody staff.

Read a number of reviews with mixed comments, so decided to try it for ourselves.

Visited here as never been before and when you fancy a Chinese you gotta have it, right!

Welcoming surroundings, food was great and staff were courteous and friendly.
