The best restaurants serving Chinese food in North East

This takeaway is AMAZING! Iv never had a complaint, food is always hot and more than enough for us as a family. we even had leftovers!!

Super noodles were better than the chow mein we got tonight... Soggy overcooked tasteless....paid £29.30 for meals that tasted terrible, when I called to complain I was told to return the meals to get a 10% discount off our next take away...I don't think so we won't be returning we would rather order with a take away that cares for their customers...AVOID!!

I have dined in most of the restaurant in China Town Newcastle. The Tasty Wok establishment offers the high standards of any of the restaurants. Fresh ingredients are prepared and created into the most authentic cuisine I have ever tasted from a takeaway.

Great value for the chicken in batter with fried rice. Curry and mushrooms really nice. Delivered on time, hot with free prawn crackers. A lovely meal .

I visit the lunch box regularly. Staff are always pleasant and attentive. Food is fresh and tasty. Plenty of hot and cold choices. Would recommend for a quick bite.

good quality, not greasy but portion sizes were extremely small e.g. chicken balls were one bite size. shrink flation.

This takeaway is called red star I call it 5 star it’s that good, would not be out place on ocean rd, it’s the best in South Shields also reasonable priced, obviously the chef is 5 star , David is lovely , well mannered serving , best in south Tyneside by a very long way 🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳

I hadn’t had a Chinese takeaway for months, simply because I was unable to find one that I liked since I moved to the North East. Thank goodness I’ve found one that I’m very happy with. My food arrived hot, on time and with generous portions and, more importantly, the fried rice wasn’t overwhelmingly flavoured with a gravy mix which some Chinese takeaway’s use. Well done The Yellow Dragon now that I’ve found you I shall be a regular 😀

The food orders was not wat I got I ordered duck and plum sauce I got duck and plum sauce and pineapple I am allergic to pineapple so was not very gd

I ordered for delivery. When it arrived we realised half the order was missing. I rang them back but the person who answered the phone didn't have a basic grasp of English. We were overcharged considerably but she wasn't "getting it". We'll use a different chinese from now on! Thanks but no thanks!.

We were on holiday in Wooler. Got a Takeaway from here. I have to say that the English meal of Chicken and chips with mushrooms and gravy, is the best that we have ever had . It was absolutely delicious .
