The best restaurants serving Chinese food in North East

I hadn’t had a Chinese takeaway for months, simply because I was unable to find one that I liked since I moved to the North East. Thank goodness I’ve found one that I’m very happy with. My food arrived hot, on time and with generous portions and, more importantly, the fried rice wasn’t overwhelmingly flavoured with a gravy mix which some Chinese takeaway’s use. Well done The Yellow Dragon now that I’ve found you I shall be a regular 😀

Always amazing, very polite staff, always a pleasant experience. I usually order curry and rice (pretty basic I know) but the curry hasn’t got that weird sweetness, everything is cooked fresh to order and honestly that’s a flex. They don’t take card payments which is a shame, but in such a little village it’s not really a problem.

Don't know how anyone that had meal from here think it's nice .first time trying definitely last.rotton 🤢

The food orders was not wat I got I ordered duck and plum sauce I got duck and plum sauce and pineapple I am allergic to pineapple so was not very gd

Food was poor. Batter on chicken balls was aweful and sweet and sour sauce tasted like it was from a jar from a supermarket. Delivery was fast.

We ordered a takeaway for delivery. When we received it, half the order was missing. We rang them straight away but couldn't get the girl on the phone to understand that we didn't get some of our order, the most important bits at that! I would expect that people who are taking down orders would have a basic grasp of English! No offer to refund the overcharge either!

We were on holiday in Wooler. Got a Takeaway from here. I have to say that the English meal of Chicken and chips with mushrooms and gravy, is the best that we have ever had . It was absolutely delicious .

Pedí comida para llevar, dijeron que estuviera listo durante 40 minutos, apareció a la hora correcta y todavía esperando 30 minutos después para mi comida servicio terrible, nunca volver, el pollo es como goma, falta parte de mi pedido, los llamó y acaba de ser fobbed mantener lejos de este lugar

Orderd from Wing on , on justeat and won't be ordering again . Bland food.....strange tasting water chestnuts in the prawn dish, powdery tasting curry, then the special chowmein consisted of onions sloppy juice and more onions .WHY DOES JUST EAT allow sub standard takeaway food it's not the first poor takeaway iv had after ordering from justeat therefore will not be ordering again from either Wing on or justeat !!!

RUDE STAFF. Phoned up as my regularly nice meal was dry and not best cooked. I then heard the kitchen shout at the poor lady ‘tell them that’s how it comes if they don’t like it give them a refund, we’re too busy’ after I said I don’t really want my money back just to come and get a replacement. I was actually gobsmacked and just said no problem thanks for your help (not the desk lady’s fault) Needless to say I won’t be using there again.

Rice was a little overcooked and the ribs weren't ribs but ribs the size of an inch

Just lost a regular customer tonight we have ordered every other week at this place but after being accused of being a liar tonight they can stick it. We ordered three soups two were half full, prawn toast quarter of a slice of bread size, and no prawns crackers. The assistant that took the call back was friendly enough and accepted they would replace the food as well as an extra portion of noodles which we would of paid for. Five minutes after we received an angry call from I presume was the owner speaking to my wife like s**t and then I took the call he accused me of taking the Mick and saying the soups were full! Shocking customer service you really think I would lie over a £4 soup and £1.40 single piece of prawn toast! After orders of £25-40 a time for the last year! I brought the food back to prove that I didn't want a freebie soup/prawn toast absolutely pathetic!

Plenty to choose from but slow to fill things back up.
