Awful chinese. The aromatic duck which is normally shredded off the bone and includes the duck skin looked like processed meat. The pancakes were so thin you couldn't wrap them without them ripping. They were also all stuck together. The curry chips and fried rice was so dry. Chips weren't fresh, undercooked and the fried rice was inedible. No curry on the rice. Will not return.

The orange chicken is amazing from Here would definitely get again maybe not the chicken balls though as they always taste slightly underdone for my taste

Love the king prawn, chicken and green pepper chow mein order it lots. Also love the chilly honey crispy chicken with rice order that lots to haha.

Very low quality with Hong Kong style pork that consisted entirely of pork fat rather than meat and special fried rice that was 40% dry nasty prawns and half a tin of spam... Will never order from here again.

Amazing! Came within 15 minutes of order, piping hot and lovely!! First time trying Chinese Takeaway in Hartlepool and won't be going anywhere else either👍 5 star from me.

Placed a £30 + order and we had to cancel it as it was going to be over two hours late we chased it up and we were told it ready just waiting for driver after 45 minutes after placing the order at 6.07pm and at 8.10pm we cancelled at 2 hours from ordering yet food hygiene law states food can only be kept hot for 90 minutes after this was 2 hours later there would be hundreds of bacteria growing in it so we cancelled the order

Chips were gorgeous and chow mein was delicious. The girl serving was very friendly . Would highly recommend

Just had a awesome meal from Here never left a crumb it was just the right spicyness and meat was melt in your mouth very nice will use this chinese again and recommend.

Omg i wish i could give this place a zero it was nasty and had to be binned. I ordered 6 main meals and we could not eat any.

one of the original chinese in town, the food is as good as ever special curry lovely good value and staff in phone helpful and in the shop as well. we have used online booking and called in for food on several occasions. late one week and were very busy staff very good on phone and offered discount to make up for it. well worth a try 👍😉

Well here we go I was told about this Chinese but the guy who does the delivery’s so we decided to place an order for delivery and all I can say was Fantastic.We ordered the Special Mixed Curry and the king Prawn and yes it was excellent guys we will be coming back and a massive thank you to the delivery driver Eddie top guy

The quality of the food isn't good and also this is reflected with their hygiene, reception area is small and staff really need to learn to smile and greet customers.

Absolutely disgraceful customer service, they leave things of your delivery order When I called to ask for the item they said they will send it out. One hour later and still waiting for item to be delivered I called them back for them to constantly putting down the phone Ringing from a different mobile number they answered very impolite staff with a terrible attitude Please be mindful of this when ordering your food on just eat with this takeaway if they do not send all items ordered you are not very likely to get them redelivered I did try to make the point that if I did not have enough to pay for a meal they would not send so why as a customer who has already paid not get the items they have paid for

Fried rice tasted like wholemeal. Nice meat but not enough sauce

Our usual Chinese was closed last night so we tried here instead. We got honey chilli chicken, special curry and special fried rice with noodles and chips. It arrived within 25 minutes and all tasted lovely and fresh. The only issue was the curry was a little too thick could do with it being more saucey. Will definitely be returning here.

tasted like washing up liquid.. chips where not cooked seemed like it was all just put in a container the put in the microwave for a couple minutes!!!

Food was very late but given for free

ordered at 11 to be told it would be delivered at 11:55, they took the money out the bank obviously, now its 12:40 so I’ve came to the conclusion that we won’t be getting our food, so they’ve took the money and not brought the food.

Food is disgusting my partner and I played £12 for a curry and it tasted nothing like a curry and was very thick .The rice tasted bad too ,the only thing that tasted as it should was the chips . We threw it in the bin and are very disappointed that wasted our money .

Food was cold, quality was very low. Thought we were getting spare ribs and they sent chopped up bits of gristle. If you don't have the food to give people what they ordered don't just send something you wouldn't feed a dog, replace it with something different or don't send anything and adjust the price accordingly. DO NOT USE THIS "RESTAURANT"!!

Service and delivery were excellent, nothing to fault there. However I paid £13.30 for a tasteless meal. Hardly any egg in the egg fried rice and the BBQ sauce had no flavour.

We ordered from he first and last. was 2 hours late. When we rang to see where it was they where laughing at me down phone. I was passed around all staff to have them doing the same. I rang at least 3 times to be told it be ten minutes and ten minutes turned into 2 hours.there Excuse they give me for being late they said no number have no idea what they where referring to as my address and number is on order.I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AND WILL NEVER BE ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN.

Delivered food, early which I was pleased with, but order wrong!! Rang up and she told me it be 10 mins, rang half an hour later and spoke to someone who apologised and told me it be 30 mins!! 1 hour later, I rang up and was told they are very busy and she hung up on me!! the order was brought cold, we asked for noodles plain and got curry sauce of them, we asked for noodles and got rice instead and without a roast chicken and chips that I paid for. I rang for 30 minutes before someone answered who told me they would bring the chicken and chips in 20 mins. I rang for a further 45 minutes when it didn’t turn up and two hours after the food came I finally got trough to a very unhelpful woman who didn’t take down the postcode correctly and told me that they had been too busy and forgot. I asked for my money back which was very unsuccessful. don’t think we’ll use them again and hopefully get back the money we spent on tea that we didn’t get!

Placed an order at half 6, i know theyre busy but its only just arrived now half 8. The food is luke warm. All i got told when i rang was there was nothing they could do about it. Overall not good at all

Service is shocking being laughed at on the phone when asking where food is, being told ten mins then waiting 25 to be told another 10 mins. Avoid if possible !!!

Very disappointing food, munchy box not worth a wrap, golden dragon best munchy box in town simple as that. Wouldn’t of fed me dog the spare ribs I received as he would of choked due to the micro size of them. Not a happy chap.

Just eat app said the food was delivered but we hadn’t received our food. Rang restaurant and the woman was saying the wrong door number then saying it was on it’s way. Wouldn’t order from them again. Contacted the just eat customer service who were really helpful so couldn’t fault them.

First time using this restaurant and certainly the last. Quoted 1 he delivery and added 5 mins when accepting order. Took 2 hours to arrive. It would have probably been longer if I didn’t phone up and the helpful lady who answered gave the kit hung a boot up the rear to get it out. On a Monday too, just not acceptable.

Perfect I’ll use this takeaway again.

20 minutes late and the notification had the audacity to tell us it was delivered on time. Crispy Noodle Beef was nothing as suggested. Wrong dish perhaps? Let down tonight, which is disappointing as it's my favourite Chinese takeaway. On top of not honouring the 15% discount, offered on Just Eat email, feel a bit underwhelmed. Let's hope this is a one off.

I ordered spring rolls and they tasted like paper and were flat as a pancake and cold. Regarding the aromatic duck what a disgrace. Duck was dry with no taste. The sauce was like jelly and was that thick you couldn't pour it out the little tub 😲. Really disappointed. Duck looked grey. The delivery was scheduled for 9.30 I ordered at 8.20 and it turned up at 8.35 no warning no nothing.

Food arrived late. Customer service from shop when ringing was appalling and the woman rushed me off the phone and blatantly hung up on me! Delivery driver walked off without giving me my change. Food is just barely warm enough to eat.

on Saturday we placed a large order costing over £30 to be delivered, when our order came we noticed the chips where missing. rang welcome and a girl answered the phone who didn’t sound bothered and was quite rude, she claimed some more would be sent out ‘when they can’. we then stated the rest of our food would be cold by the chips arrived. 40 minutes later bag of chips arrived, everyone had already ate their food.

Great food the only downfall was the sweet and sour chicken balls I ordered within my order didn't come with the sauce, but all in all our delivery, service and food where amazing, definitely ordering again.

Ordered food to be delivered for 6:55pm got text at 7pm to say order out for delivery rang shop at 7:20 and get told 5 more minutes and repeated sorry not much help really and still waited till 7:30pm for it to arrive. Food was nice but better if was delivered on time as would of been warmer

Where do I start our order turned up cold and food missing phoned the shop to be told they will replace the order and give only £5 off for the mistake food replaced no £5 refund tried to ring the shop they put the phone down on me twice and the ignored my calls so had to drive down there. They then said they didn’t say about having five pound off never ever would I order from here again the food really was poor and the staff were even worse apart from the delivery driver she was lovely 😡😡😡😡😡😡

She then told that they had no order for my address and that I had called the wrong shop. They did not offer any apology and it was all my fault. I will never use this take away ever again. I rang the restaurant to see where it was and they said it had just gone out with the driver - it didn't arrive until another 30 mins later. Overall, this was 30 mins later than the time stated on my order and I can't understand why the text to say it was on its way was sent when it clearly wasn't. Rice was very stodgy and hard to separate on my plate. I had an oyster sauce dish which was very runny and tastless; my mam had a satay which tasted nothing like satay. Overall a big disappointment after waiting so long.

Singapore chow mein is made with thin rice noodles or thin noodles in general not thick soft tasteless egg noodle. Also they said because that's how they always make it. So how would one know to leave a note to make sure it's made with thin noodles. Stay well clear of this place. Clearly incompetent and peddle greasy minging food and try to pass it off as edible.
