My sister ordered some noodles with tofu and fried vegetables during our family trip to Durham. The service was very kind and the food was delicous and perfect in its simplicity. The prices are great too!

Really enjoyed fantastic Asian food cooked fresh with none of the junk you normally get from local takeaways. And not the ping microwave meals you get elsewhere. Just tasty freshly made food in a lovely little restaurant.

This is a small place to sit in and eat, only good for upto 4 people in a group. The food is fast, hearty portions and most of all delicious, the staff are really nice and accomdating. Price wise its low to medium budget, drinks are a touch pricey (£1.50 for a can of pop) but the food more than makes up for it. Highly recommend if you want fast aisian style food at a reasonable price.

A great find! Tucked away down steps off Silver Street is an awesome Asian Fusion restaurant. Reasonably priced and clean. But most importantly... Great food! Honey Chilli Chicken with Jasmine Rice was superb!

Beautiful food, if not a little expensive. Good atmosphere with a riverside view from the small but cozy restaurant upstairs. Pleasant and helpful staff. Menu offers a range of Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Hong Kong among other Asian cuisine and ‘general’ dishes. There is an outside toilet you can ask for the key for. It’s really clean and furnished with clever sign slogans. Really did enjoy the food, however, makes you wonder if it’s worth paying the price when there’s an all you can eat for half the price just down the road.

Food is flavourful and generous portion for the price, menu items are limited but what they do is done well. Takeaway is phenomenal, even the boxes and packaging they use is high-end. The sit-in experience is a bit of a weird one, as it's small and decorated like a coastal bistro, and it's quite cold! But definitely try this one - £9.95 honey chili chicken and rice and it's delicious

At the moment, they do not allow people to sit indoors and eat so it is takeaway only. They didn't give me disposable cutlery so make sure you bring your own!

Delicious Asian foods and reasonable prices. But indoor places were relatively small. So if you need to come with many people, it will be better to deliver and eat somewhere else. This restaurant is located in the isle, but you cannot miss it because just following the signs is all you need to do

Had takeaways here a few times and even though the delivery is normally long, the food has always been brilliant.

Delicious food. We got a mix of food, dumplings, spring rolls, katsu curry, satay sauce... All delicious. We would come again. And reasonable time frame from order to collection, around 20min

My new favourite place to order food delivery 🍲 I really recommend their dumplings - they're so crispy and flavoursome. Staff have been super helpful and called me to check something was okay with my allergies. Their soup is also lovely. Never had a bad meal from them! 💞

Great food and service - had a little trouble with the UberEats delivery but there were very receptive and accommodating. Very much went the extra mile in a time of crisis! Would recommend for quality Asian dishes.

One of my fave places to eat in Durham! I came for my 22nd birthday and has the thai green tofu curry! It was so yummy and the lady who served us was really nice and smiley! Great place :) x

Absolutely gorgeous Asian cuisine. With dishes from countries all over Asia, China, Japan, Thai, Hong Kong etc. Went during the 50% off scheme and got Salt and Chili chips, noodles, Chicken Katsu Curry and Special Honey Chili Chicken both mains with jasmine rice for £13. Staff are extremely friendly, some of the nicest staff I've experienced anywhere. Food was rich in taste and tastes very authentic and fresh. Only downsides was the wait time (30mins) however happy to wait for fresh food and very limited seating. If this place had more restaurant vibes, more seating and more of an atmosphere it would be A*.

Went there in person waited several mins to be served as they were too busy answering the phone. For example they came to take my order then the lady left as the phone was ringing. Then waited again. Then when i did place my order was advised that it would be at least 30 mins and to go for a walk and come back to collect the food.

Called for a takeaway coffee here while out with my family. It was beautiful. Served sensibly at the door (socially distant), they were friendly, fast and product was delicious. Definitely recommend.

This photo does the food no justice atall but this was honestly the best food I’ve eaten in a while. The Oi Tower burger was delicious with a nice kick of spice. I’ve never had a burger this big before that doesn’t fall apart as you eat it. Ordered over the phone and picked up in 15 mins. Goes perfectly with a bottle of Tiger! Will definitely be stopping here again the next time I’m working up here! Shame they can’t deliver to me in Milton Keynes! 🤣

Lovely little place, been here twice now in a week with my girlfriend. Fantastic food, I've had the Thai Green Curry and Chicken Teriyaki, I can definitely recommend. Very reasonably priced and staff are lovely, becoming my favourite restaurant in Durham !

This kitchen is where 9 Altars used to be, and I'm so glad to see the space filled. The food was good (my boyfriend and I got the chicken katsu), reasonably priced, and the employees were so nice. This is a lovely addition to the town.

Really great, streetfood-style cuisine right in the heart of Durham. Lots of choice across a bunch of pan-Asian classics, from Katsu to Thai Green curries. It's well-priced, and everything inside is clean. Can definitely recommend the Tonkatsu cutlets and chicken dumplings, but make sure to ask for the chilli seasoning for the meal deal fries! New place, lots of potential, with lovely staff that care about feedback - looking good to keep an eye on OiSaki in the future. Would highly recommend this place for a quick bite to eat or takeout.

Visitamos aquí con un grupo de amigos, mejor que hacer el teppanyaki si estás con un grupo de amigos, ya que estábamos. El servicio era rápido y amable, el lugar estaba bastante vacío pero lo bastante tarde. La parrilla no se limpiaron del grupo anterior que pensé que el chef pasado podría haber limpiado por nuestro chef fue agradable y no todos los trucos habituales y nos dieron nuestra participación en grupo. Pedimos el menú fijo por £14.50 que es muy buena relación calidad-precio, una selección de aperitivos, sopa y un plato principal. en general, una buena noche pero no creo que volveremos a menos que sea un grupo grande.

Esta es mi segunda visita y honestamente puedo decir que fue genial en ambas ocasiones. La comida es deliciosa y el servicio rápido. El tío cocinar era muy gracioso, no dice mucho pero fue divertido. 7 en total y todos nosotros lo disfrutamos y reímos. Nos fuimos antes 6,30 en happy hour y lo encontramos a un precio razonable. El personal es muy atento y transparentes cosas muy rápidamente. Vivir un poco y reír mucho - probarlo.

Nos encanta la comida japonesa y estaban seriamente disgustado en clausura Fujiyamas.. Así que nos alegró muchísimo naturalmente a ver otro abierto japonés en la marina. Fuimos para nuestro aniversario de boda - así que darnos un capricho al banquete de mariscos - circa 30 libras cada una. Una cosa a tener en cuenta es que este restaurante también prepara comidas chinas, que se cocinan atrás y nos trajo a la mesa ... Si lo que quieres es chino seguramente vas a un Chinese?? ... En primer lugar, tuvimos que compartir una mesa con una familia con dos adolescentes que whined sobre todo, entonces el chef salió - no consiguió impresionar con su cocina habilidades así como la comunicación - él apenas dijo una palabra y no parece entender lo que nos efs cuando intentamos entable una conversación ... él completamente perdió su 'trucos' - me sentí tan avergonzados por él para ser sincero ... todos los cursos fueron literalmente sirve a 15/20mins ... parecía que eran simplemente que se apuran por todos lados nos para ser sincero. La comida era sosa - no ajos frescos, etc. cuando llegó a que cambia todas las temporadas - fue todas las salsas de bañeras baratas con recordatorios de marcador de los ingredientes. La comida no era desagradable, pero desde luego no es lo que nosotros estábamos acostumbrados cuando tener teppenyaki en varios otros establecimientos japoneses. Tuvimos que solicitar palillos también, que nos dieron unos 10 minutos más tarde, cuando podríamos conseguir la atención del personal joven de bar que era aturdida en un mundo propio. nada de ambiente en el lugar ... Terminamos sentado en silencio mirando mutuamente de consternación para la mayoría de la noche. Después de nuestra comida el ?director ?personal del bar vino y nos dio un concurso para obtener una galleta de la fortuna ... genial quizás si tienes niños ... No para dos adultos que quieran una cena romántica. en conjunto con un par de bebidas que naufragó alrededor de £80 en este lugar y por desgracia nos decepcionó nunca volveremos ... :( qué desperdicio de dinero y una decepción para nuestro aniversario. Yo no recomendaría este lugar lo siento, prefiero viajar a Newcastle para japonés de ahora en adelante. ¡Qué vergüenza teniendo en cuenta que vivimos en la Marina.

We have eaten here three times, the first time, the restaurant had just reopened. The food was delicious with generous portions and attentive staff....but it quickly went downhill on our next two visits. On our next visit, the food was oversalted and uninspiring, but we thought we would give them one more chance.On our last visit, I ordered a king prawn dish for which they charged £1.50 extra and was presented with a dull looking dish with 5 of the tiniest prawns I have ever seen arranged on the plate, certainly not King size, more like very poor relations!!! Again, it was overseasoned and glutenous..horrid! and definately downsized from our first visit! Absolute rip off!I agree with the previous reviewer about the staff, the ones who served us were charming, but were watched over all the time. I also agree that the staff prefer you to sit at the communal table where the chef cooks in front of you, but we asked for a table for two which did not go down too well.It has had its chance...won't be back!

divertida experiencia en este lugar. La comida era buena, pero los camareros no sabía el menú. Lo que parecía ser el jefe de camareros, tenía sólo horroroso conocimiento del menú, pero él estaba viendo un muy capaz nuevo jefe como un halcón y tomándolo en él errores ... que era más como la pava llamando la olla Black! Lo mejor de este lugar era un muchacho fabuloso musical filipino que cocinamos cena en el calientaplatos delante de usted. Prepárate para sentarse alrededor de la placa con gente que no sé ... que luego tratar de hacer conversación contigo ya que podía comer! No es realmente para mí así que no volveremos.
