NOT ANYMORE! Was my local and been going there for 25 years! WAITED FOR MY MEAL NEXT DOOR AND THEY JUST LEFT IT TO GET COLD ON THE COUNTER INSTEAD OF BRINGING IT THROUGH LIKE NORMAL. GOT MEAL HOME AND IT HAD ONION IN, I JUST ASKED FOR NOODLES AND JUST BEANSPROUTS AND FOUND OUT IT HAD ONION IN AND THE FOOD WAS COLD AND THE KING FRIED PRAWN BALLS WERE JUST STODGY! RANG UP TO COMPLAIN AND THE GUY JUST SAID ITS MY FAULT FOR NOT SAYING NO ONION...THEY SHOULD ALSO KNOW I DONT EAT IT AS WELL! HE WAS RUDE AND WAS SHOUTING AT MY WIFE ON THE PHONE AND HUNG UP ON US TWICE! NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN! WILL BE TAKUNG THIS UP WITH THE MANAGER AND WRITTING MORE REVIEWS!

This listing needs to be changed to reflect that this restaurant is not Mrs Wong's. It went under new ownership and changed its name to 'Cozy Woods' many years ago. All the more recent and largely negative reviews reflect this new restaurant, not the Streatham institution that was Mrs Wong's, and frankly they are a stain on the good name of what was once an incredibly beloved community favourite. Cozy Woods, stop trying to capitalise on the reputation and goodwill built up by the real Mrs Wong's over many decades. Much love to the original owners and staff.

Food was so slow to arrive (we waited an hour at 5.45pm on a Saturday) and then wasn't great.... Pleasant staff.

Good fish and chips although the mushy peas weren't really mushy they were quite solid. Wish they would take cards too not just cash. But nice fish freshly cooked

Sadly the China Orchids is still a take away so all we have are memories of the enjoyable evenings we had in the restaurant. In the spirit of stick with what you know we have remained loyal and often use their take away service. Recently there was a slight problem with one of the meals and we received an immediate apology and the promise that £20 would be deducted from our next order. They honoured their agreement last night and we had a superb meal delivered for my wife's birthday, piping hot, on time and with the cost reduction. The portions were generous, so much so, that I have just tucked into another meal for lunch today. The take away menu is extensive and we try something different each time we order. The staff are helpful, keen to explain the constituents of the dishes or make something to your specifications.

All the food was amazing. I especially enjoyed the sweet and sour sauce on my Hong Kong chicken.

It's hard to get through and when you do you have to repeat yourself alot as they got more than one phone and it's hard to here.food good when it arrives,you have to pay to deliver and only cash

We went in for a takeaway - food was ready within 10 minutes - the taste was bland and the and the food was overcooked. Won’t be returning.

No wonder the place is so dead for a Friday night, even the phones for takeaway were quiet. looked online and found this place, drove 20 mins away for it, only to find the menu was a lot higher than online prices, wouldn’t mind paying this if the food was nice and portions reasonable. Was charged for prawn crackers when the bill was £90+ what happened to free prawn crackers, we paid £8 for 3 ribs disgusting and wasn’t even that nice, the chicken balls weren’t that nice, the rest was okay but portions not great for the price, when we mentioned the stuff we were unhappy about the woman was super argumentative about trying to justify it. And the bill come and the prices were higher than was the as on the menu agajn. Drinks were advertised as a coke but was given Pepsi, only a small thing but it’s a big difference, just advertise what you have
