i dont mind the wait at Jade house, best Chinese I have been to. Myself and husband once moved to Banbury and even travelled to get Chinese from Jade house. We are back in Brackley now and we love it, wouldn’t go anywhere else. The food is 10/10

The food is good which is obviously the important bit. The staff also do their best and I appreciate they work under pressure when its busy. The thing that puts me off going here in the future is that the wait time can sometimes be ridiculous. I've phoned up a few times over the years and been told 30mins and then that turns into well over an hour. I don't mind a wait but I do wish they would just provide accurate times instead of telling me something which clearly isn't going to happen. It also seems to be cash only at the moment which isn't great.

Good food, service good can't ask for any better

The food was amazing. The spring rolls are a must-have !! Had about 40 minute wait but that's to be expected as they were really busy, and it was peak time. They only accept CASH, NO CARD payments, unless ordered online,

Not bad but not great. Was there on a Friday night so obviously busy but as a walk in was served quickly and the food out within a reasonable time as advised on ordering. All dishes lacking a bit of flavour, maybe they don’t use MSG? Would maybe visit again if I was in the area, not bad at all.

Got a takeaway from here, I’ll be honest 5 of us eating and not one of us enjoyed it. The salt and chilli chicken was tough and rubbery, the curry sauce on my special curry was not very nice and very dark brown and beef was chewy. Unfortunately we will not use again. Sorry

Food wasn't great. The beef tasted rubbery. Rice was stodgy. Service was poor. Half way through serving me the guy wandered off. And it's cash only. Seriously. Never go there again.

Ordered from the counter and the wait was not long at all. The lemon chicken was delicious. I was disappointed with the chicken and pineapple but everything else was very good. The salt and pepper prawns are also very tasty. Price was good too and similar to other Chinese take aways in Brackley.

Thing food is always great from this place and not to greasy like many others. I have never had a bad meal from here and I have tried all the Chinese restaurants in Brackley. This one beats them hands down!

Phoned up to order takeaway, checked that a dairy allergy could be catered for and was told the oil used in the cooking contained dairy. There was no alternative available which was very disappointing. The fact that there is no allergy information on the menu is shocking. I had to brake the news to my son who had been looking forward to a Chinese takeaway all weekend. Very disappointed indeed.

Terrible chicken in the curry. Texture was that of a marsh-mallow albeit more rubbery. Crispy beef tasted of burnt something. Beef chow mein very good, as were the sweet and sour Chicken balls. Owner is rude to the lady on the reception also. Won’t be returning.

Very good genuine food excellent flavours, also very generous portions. At this time you may have to wait a little longer to receive your collection but trust me well worth it. Down side, you wait outside an only 2 at a time at counter, check orders as their busy an don't have a ticket system, so call out your order name.

Placed an order for delivery. Was told I would have a wait of 45mins. I arrived 45 mins after placing the order and had to wait a further 60 mins. Unfortunately the young staff member behind the counter could not give me any updates as to how long my food would take. I will not be visiting jade house again.

Ordered above as on low fat diet, obviously recipe changed, so heavy with Chinese five spice sauce, sugary, previously a light sauce!! Was not great please offer low fat/sugar sauce Jade House

Jade house is the place I go to every time without fail.Had a takeaway last night and was disappointed with the quality of the food I ordered. The rice in egg fried rice wasn’t cooked enough and was hard.The beef and mushroom was nice but the pancake roll was so different the the last time, the batter was not light and crispy but dark and chewy and the filling tasted very earthy/stale veg.Such a shame as the quality was never issue before.

So slow waited 20mins in store to even try and place and order in closing 10mins at the front of the queue where is was completely ignored shocking customer service and waits were over an hour long for even simple dishes

Food is always reliable and delicious - staff are super helpful and friendly - Kitchen will tweak dishes to your taste without a fuss. This is easily the best Chinese takeaway ever.

Long wait from main meal and pudding

We hadn’t used this Chinese for over 10 years and in fact we were a little disillusioned by the Chinese takeaways in Brackley but we decided to try the Jade House again. Well, it was absolutely first class. The crispy shredded beef was better than a lot of high class Chinese sit down restaurants. Everything we had was so tasty and not greasy at all, plus generous portions too. We had a bit of a wait but the place was hugely busy and popular - I can see why.We will definitely be coming back for more

Good food with large portions, limited parking spaces

This place offers very good quality food well cooked and if requested, prepared to suit your taste. Be aware though that it gets busy and expect to wait a while for your food. I generally order in person an hour before I want to eat then collect. Never been disappointed. The ingredients are good quality and the servings generous, I usually ask for a little extra heat (chilli in sweet and sour etc) and find the dishes nicely adapted.Outstanding food and a place I use almost weekly.

Utterly disgusting! Don't take people's money and tell them 45 minutes when you are going to keep them waiting for over 2 hours! If you can't cope with the quantity of orders ... STOP taking peoples money and focus on serving those whose money you gave taken. Your take away is an utter joke! Be warned Brackley .... order your Chinese elsewhere😠😠😠😠

Beer was rubbery and menu seemed to miss many of my favourites. Wasn't impressed although my father and daughter seemed okay with theirs

This is my preferred Chinese takeaway. I love the Gourmet starters. The ribs are nice and small. Love the seaweed. The Peking Duck excellent. Always order too much which we either finish the day after or freeze.

Nice food, you get loads. The quality is pretty good for a takeaway and the best in Brackley. It does take awhile to get your order but that’s because it’s all cooked fresh. Very friendly service. Would recommend for a nice takeaway.

Fantastic take away food .... reasonable prices. Def worth a trip

It was quite busy when I went to order and collect our takeaway. We have just moved into the area so this was the first Chinese we'd picked by chance. Didn't have a menu, couldn't find one online so had no choice but to go in to order. Next time will definitely phone the order in. Waiting area is rather chilly, so unless it's July or August, take a coat. Having said all that, I now know why it's busy. (I was already hoping I might know the reason, but assumptions are, as we all know, the mother of all f@£# ups! So thought it best to reserve judgement until later.) It's busy because it's good. The food was lovely, hot, well packaged just like any other Chinese takeaway that scores well with the customers. I'm no food maestro so can't really give you a blow by blow culinary breakdown of what's what's. I just know that the food disappeared once in the front door as if a plague of locusts and their dad's had just rampaged through the place. Highly recommend. Sermon over. Go eat.

Not the best, okay for cheap Chinese but I'd go elsewhere in future. The wait was far too long (20 minutes after they told me to arrive). Food was average.
