Great service, been using for a few months now . Food dishes always good, great portions . Very quick service, have always gone in, not used delivery service yet.

DO NOT BUY THIS POOR QUALITY FOOD from a takeaway that doesn't care about their customers. Terrible food, total waste of £46.10. Luke warm, tasteless with sickly sweet sauces wrong sauce on the crispy chicken (which was soggy) prawn toast over cooked, ribs dry and tough with what seemed to be watered down honey. I went in the next day to talk about my order. A nasty unpleasant man who insisted that all the food was freshly made. When i ordered the meal it was ready in 10 mins! He offered me " a couple of dishes" as compensation. I refused because of the quality of the meal i was complaining about. I said id accept £30 as compensation/refund but he said no and offered just £20. I said about all the other bad reviews but he just said he didn't care about reviews.

The food here is absolutely DISGUSTING it was cold & all the meat was hard, noodles looked stale and tasted of nothing, rice was dry! Called the shop to complain and the manager was SO rude NEVER order from this place both the food and customer service is disgusting

Very quick delivery time. The crab meat and sweetcorn soup..... well seafood sticks and sweet corn soup, rank!! I ordered sweet and sour spare ribs. I got received 4 ribs that were so over cooked it took me half an hour to chew them. Sweet and sour sauce was a runny horrible sweet and sour liquid!! Chilli and salt chips!! Well...... it was 50 pence worth of chips with dried onions and no chilli. I paid over £20 for these 3!! I wouldn't bother, zero rating!!

No flavour, chicken chow mein and shrimp chow mein looks like it was boiled . Will never order from here again

Great food but very disappointed when delivered told 21.95 delivery great happy to pay that when guy turned up 29.95 !!!!!! Not one to argue we questioned but ended up paying the 29.95 will be cautious next time we order. If we do !!!!!!!

Absolutely shocking attitude from the driver so the food was sent away. Then a choppy phone call with more abuse - avoid these guys….

First time ordering, quick delivery for a Saturday night, food was okay. Wouldn’t recommend the chicken curry, the chicken was so processed I couldn’t eat it. Chicken balls, chow mein, chips and satay chicken was nice enough. Prawn crackers were incredible!

Lovely staff and clean waiting area, but the food wasn't great, I had a chicken dish, reformed chicken, that obviously had been a chicken at some point in it's life. The dogs enjoyed it, so it wasn't wasted. Also expensive, over £14 for a dish with rice.

Wouldn’t order again. Bad bits. Kung po chicken was incredibly vinegary. The Chicken satay skewers came with old wilted lettuce on top? Very odd. Didn't taste great. Satay sauce didn’t taste of satay at all, also very watery and not thick like a good satay sauce should be. Spring rolls were tasteless and very sloppy in the middle. Very over priced for the portions & quality. Good bits. Rice was okay. Service was very quick. (Maybe that’s why it doesn’t taste great lol) Peace! Luke

We had a takeaway delivered. Processed chicken in both curry and ‘chicken balls’. This take away used to be really good but you cannot use processed food and expect to keep customers.

Terrible food and rude service. Wrong order and had to wait for it to be quickly done and was poor quality and small portion.

Definitely should have checked the TripAdvisor reviews before ordering as they look fairly true. Tasteless, bland and watery. Cost of living crisis is real and money is tight so very dissapointed to treat the family to a takeaway for it to be so dreadful.

Tried here because Chi’s in Wootton is so poor, the portions are better but the food was bland, needs more flavour! Tasted more like a supermarket Chinese meal, disappointing for £40!

Tried this place tonight. It was dumped at our door despite requesting to call. The food was very bland. Watery Satay Skewers. Mushy noodles in my chicken chow mein. Sadly wont be trying again.

Food and service has been superb. The chili salt king prawns and special fried rice was so delicious. The owner also is a sweet man. He had a laugh and a joke while I was waiting. Definitely recommend this place

Had to take the food back as the pineapple in the rice was rotten, the rice had been recooked and the beef in the satay was off. The guy behind the counter said everything was fine even as I showed him the rotten food and the grey coloured beef was stinking on his counter.

The food was so bad that I took it back! Rotten pineapple in two of the dishes (it was black and mouldy in places), beef satay had grey beef as it had gone off. Called the takeaway to tell them and they accused me of just wanting my money back. I offered to let them collect and they refused so I took it back myself. Owner said that there was nothing wrong with it despite it looking mouldy and smelling rotten. So I asked him to try it himself. Unsurprisingly, he refused. If you want to play food poisoning roulette, this place is well up there!

Ordered food online and went for shower came down after to find the driver left it in my kitchen 🤬 he actually came round the back and entered my house. When I phoned the shop to complain the owner said it’s not my fault Absolutely fuming

Every single dish was great, couldn’t fault.

Special fried rice had hardly any rice in it mainly made up of bamboo shoots and other veg the chilli beef dish was full of onions hardly any beef,the sweet and sour sauce was coloured water that tasted like paraffin the chop suey again had hardly any meat in in fact the wasn't much meat in anything we spent £110 on this meal and that was like throwing it away I'll say it again it was by far the worse meal I've ever had avoid at all costs over I had to give it a 1 star review but I tried to give it nothing because that's all they deserve..

We used to love this chinese when we lived in Grange Park. We moved away due to work for a few years and after returning a few years later it’s safe to say it’s really gone down hill! Has it changed ownership because it used to be so good?! Really slow delivery and average food. Please bring back the old owners and staff!

Has been the best Chinese for a long time until the last couple of weeks. 2 weeks ago the food turned up late and cold and this week it took 2 hours to arrive. Food was only just warm enough to eat. I think it is time to order from somewhere else now.

£32 spent on Food which arrived cold after nearly 2hrs since ordering and missing can of drink. When we contacted the restaurant we were told to put it in the microwave!!! Driver returned with can of drink but the attitude of the manager has really put us off using them again.

£11 for 1/4 duck! Pancakes were all cut so couldn't use them! Spring onions and cucumber were all dried out and going brown. VERY greasy duck and the plum sauce was weird chocolate brown gravy. Sadly, feel sick now!!!

Previously we have had lovely takeaways from here, until last night!!! Our spring rolls and chips were very undercooked. The soup had a broken lid on it and had been spilt over all of the other food. The crispy beef was chewy and slimey and also in the wrong sauce. Was just awful and ended up throwing the majority of it away. (We never have leftovers) Despite raising a complaint with Just Eat, they have stated that apparently the food can vary depending on who cooks it and I should leave a review. Ta-dah!!! Will NEVER order from here again. ☹️

Never had a problem in the past but last night we ordered and the portions were tiny, fiod was luke warm, pork chow mein only had 2 small pieces of pork in same size as a 5p and sauces were cold. Won't be ordering from here again

Had 4 lovely meals here over the past few months until last night. The chicken balls (previously the nicest I've had) were entirely different and tasted awful. The duck was very dry and tasteless and the hoison sauce was watery and also tasteless. We had a few items missing alongside not receiving the curry sauce ordered but in its place received what looked like gravy but tasted like something entirely different. Unfortunately won't be ordering from here again. Absolutely gutted.

Good downhill recently and they jave put their prices up. Have now change Chinese, food feels microwave rushed and not fresh anymore is a shame because we used it for years

Drove 20 mins to get there, only to find the doors were locked. I'd arrived 45 mins before the scheduled closing time. I caught the attention of three guys stood inside but they just looked at each other and smiled.

Well priced great tasting Chinese food with a reasonably quick delivery time.

Order placed at just before 6pm. Delivery time confirmed for 7.10 pm. After having to chase, told food is on the way should be there any minute. the food arrived 20 mins later at 7.45pm. Driver said had come straight from the takeaway, well it only takes 5 mins not 20mins to get to ours. And added to this when we served it was cold.

The first two times I didn’t want to leave a bad review but tonight was the cherry on the cake. They are ALWAYS missing items off of our delivery. When we call to let them know and get the missing items sent, the owner is nothing but IN DENIAL and RUDE. He shouted at me down the phone. At one point refused to send me what I had ordered and paid for. They repeatedly ask for cash to avoid the tax man. Their drivers and always kind and apologetic but the 13 year old they employ to take orders keeps getting things wrong (she is young so I feel sorry for her) but the owners behaviour is questionable. Everything tastes like it has come out of a microwave and often arrives cold. Save your money and pick somewhere else.

Ordered satay chicken last week & got lovely chicken skewers in a peanut sauce, ordered it again tonight & got chicken & vegetables in a mild (non peanut) sauce.. something completely different. Went back to query it & got met with a rude, obnoxious server who wouldn’t entertain that this was the incorrect dish. We won’t be going back!

unfortunately disappointed which was surprising given the good reviews. The chow mein was just so oily and greasy it made me feel ill.

Food was very nice we stopped off there from our way from Leicester, service was brilliant and was even given a choice and suggestions as to what to have and the food was made to my taste .very good I would recommend for people to try this place.

This is my favorite Chinese! Everyone is so polite when I’m in store, on the phone or the delivery drivers at my door! Food is always so good! My only criticism would be the curries recently have a lot of cinnamon in them (that’s what it tastes like) BUT every time I order I mention I’d like it about spicier and they fix it to my taste! Always recommend to my friends and family and they always love it! Deffo recommend!! Thanks guys!!

We placed an order today (NYE) for delivery this evening at 8pm - order placed at 13:00 approx. At 18:50, they cancelled the order with no explanation, no apology, absolutely nothing. Unsurprisingly everywhere for takeaway is having tonight, and despite planning ahead they couldn't be bothered to effectively manage their orders or plan appropriately.

Collected a takeaway today 28.12.20 and I can say without a doubt that this was by far the worst takeaway i have ever had. Food not fresh, smells oily, greasy, not appealing to look at. Frankly feels like a rip off. Would not recommend anyone spend their hard earned money at this place.

1st time ordering from Grange Wok & although the food was very good & the service very fast. They ignored my instructions: No onions please - allergy!! I've spent half my evening picking them out of my 2 dishes. Poor show Grange Wok! If only you took notice of the little details you'd have got 5 stars & repeat business.

Just had a takeaway from here it was just salt and more salt now in bin

We have ordered in the past from this takeaway and found them to be ok, but reading the recent reviews I wasn’t expecting the food to be up to standard. To the contrary it was really very good. The food was hot and yes it did take over an hour to receive our order, albeit the email confirmation did say there was a delay. We received prawn crackers at no cost, which I perceive was for the inconvenience. We ordered off the menu a vegetarian option along with beef in yellow bean sauce and beef with ginger and spring onion. Tender slices of beef, fresh vegetables and all with a good sauce. The spring rolls looked to be freshly made and were full of vegetables and spice. Overall very good, one of the better Chinese takeaways we have had.

Happy to take your money but then cancel your delivery without telling you why. Had to call them, only to be told that they've decided not to deliver to our area tonight. No problem with that, but fix your system so it doesn't allow you to order if you aren't delivering, or at least a courtesy call to explain would be appreciated.

Ordered for 19:00 and arrived at 17:50. Lucky my partner was there to get it and have his food, not so lucky for me who was working and had to eat cold/heated up! Disappointed

Say the deliver to Hanslope on their website, was able to complete tbe order and pay, then order was cancelled. Had this issue multiple times, sometimes they deliver and sometimes they dont. Obviously depends on who is in charge that day! Just take Hanslope off your delivery places if you don't deliver there! Quick enough to take the payment but takes 5 working days for a refund! Just wont bother with this place anymore.

I spent nearly £30 on a delivery recently having never used Grange Wok before. I won’t be using them again.The food was cold and lacked any real flavour. Essentially, it appeared similar to what a cooking student might produce. It was clear they have not mastered the skill (such as it is) of making Chinese food. I was left really disappointed having tried to eat flavourless, cold, soggy, food. Yuk!

Soggy crispy shredded beef, and that’s if you could actually find any meat in the dish. Much the same with the other dishes, just vegetables and sauce and a few pieces of meat. Used to be decent, now it’s just terrible!

Been coming for years till I moved away staying in grange park and had to come back food is still fantastic and full of flavour and good for value highly recommended xx

Had a takeaway, it was very nice and tasty, I personally would recommend this takeaway.

I expect when you order crispy chilli beef it’s supposed to be crispy? They serve it in a sauce and then by time ur home it’s soggy and chewy. Definitly not going back. Only went cause I was hungover.. and it’s made my hangover worse.

Been using this chinese for almost 10 years and it’s consistently gotten worse and worse. the what i can assume girl on the front desk is extremely rude making you feel as if your an inconvenience and won’t even look you in the eye. then you wait almost 30 mins for a few dishes and they’re cold by the time you’re home. next time i’d recommend turning right when you walk in and use the new curry house.

We have given this place 2 visits now and both have been horrendous and tonight we were actually gobsmacked at how they are allowed to serve food like this, unfortunately we don't live close by otherwise we'd of taken it back. The chow mein "noodles" were cut into tiny pieces with maybe 3/4 Been sprouts through the whole dish. It was unbelievably salty and we couldn't eat it. Could go on forever but all I will say is never again!

The best Chinese I've ever had. I needed Chinese but my usual Chinese was closed on Monday so I went on line and found Grange wok. I checked the reviews and they were good so decided to give it a go and I did not regret it! Very well mannered man on the phone, and food just as ordered. I asked for him to go easy on the salt and he did. Portions were good as well. Good all round! Not going back to my old Chinese restaurant. Thank you Grange wok, your food was delicious and you saved my evening!

Best Chinese takeaway in Northampton , wouldn't go anywhere else .

This is the best Chinese I have EVER had. I only ever come here, even though its a bit far from my house. The owner knows my order now and always says ‘see you soon’ which is obviously great because it shows he likes his customers. Definitely recommend this place. The delivery is quick too!

Lovely Chinese takeaway ordered from just eat on 26th this month. Food came on time an delicious. Everyone else enjoyed had the honey sauce ribs, pork and chicken special fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. It was lovely to last bite. Definitely will order again best Chinese I have had.

Chicken chowmein looked like it had been scrapped off of the floor and put back in the container ...i also ordered quarter crispy duck, and it had bits of bone left in it that nearly chipped my tooth ..chips were awfull aswell so all round a dissapionted...partner injoyed his chicken balls though

Well what else can I say but CRACK A BLOODY SMILE. Never have I been treated so poorly as a customer, made to feel like an inconvenience whilst paying premium prices for less than standard quality food. Order wrong on the two occasions I have visited and just not worth it, I would rather spend my money elsewhere, where it is appreciated and not greeted with dirty looks when I express that the order I received is not that which I paid for. Won’t be going back.

Have been visiting Grange Wok for years and can honestly say it’s the best Chinese in Northampton. I no longer live in Northampton but every time I am there I make sure to pay a visit. The food is always well prepared and the owners always offer me a warm greeting and great service.Would highly recommend!

Must say that when visiting Northampton, we stayed at the local hotel Holiday Inn in Grange Park where we ordered a delivery from this local chinese. I ordered the chicken chowmein and chicken peking with egg fried rice. Wife ordered King Prawn dish and special rice with some spring rolls and sesame prawn toast. Every dish tasted excellent. Delivery time was on point and can tell that food was not made and waiting around. One of the, if not best chinese we have ever had. 100% ordering again on next visit. Shame they not in London otherwise would be our local.

Credit to Grange Wok for moving away from Just Eat, but if they are going to survive they are going to have to pay more attention to detail, just received our order that we booked for 19.55 at 19.10! Luckily we were in!

It's been some time since ordering from Grange Wok,maybe 18months, but on the night of the 16th Feb 2019 i ordered a simple chicken fried rice,chips and curry sauce, i was served by an Indian person,and the people in the kitchen looked English, when i got home the chips were something like u get from McDonald's, the fried rice was totally dry,along with the chicken, and all this was ready after 5mins of ordering, will never use again, totally crap.

We had a takeaway delivered. Food doesn’t look that good but tastes ok even warmed up the following day. Thai curry was quite oily.

Ordered a curry and chicken in black bean sauce was really nice, ordered from just eat and arrived before delivery time which was a nice surprise as I was very hungry! Every time I order from here it gets better and better!

Ordered on Just Eat- the food arrived on time and hot. The seaweed (3 portions) was burned and not edible. The squid dry and chewy not at all juicy as is should be, the chicken balls were nice but the sweet and sour sauce was odd tasting and watery.

I ordered my normal takeaway with sides as always from a chineese.. I stipulated I did not want peas and was on the ticket.. I rang the chineese after picking it up and tried to rectify the mistake twenty minutes before they shut.. no answer.. so my whole family ate their meal and I did not.. a bad end to a good day.. I have the receipt and food and expect a refund for mine and hopefully for all.. I will take it back tomorrow and see???

Had a take away the other night and I can honestly say that the food was horrible. This is not the first time that I have eaten this food and had stomach pains all night into the morning.

Only used once so far via just eat. Was cheapest delivery charge (£3) to where we live. Delivered when they said it would be and the food was very nice.

For Chinese takeaway /delivery you can always expect and get good quality food. We use them quite often.

We fancied a Chinese take away.....the food was awful. The chicken wings were so old , dry and tough. The prawns were over cooked, the seaweed was so sweet we couldn’t eat it, what a pity. Oh and the mushroom noodle soup has tons of reformed chicken in which was a surprise for my vegetarian daughter ......

This is truly the worst quality and value for money I have ever experienced when buying a Chinese takeaway. Never had so much green and red peppers and tasteless sauce in my life in a Chinese meal. Set meal for 4 Crispy duck was not crispy but the pancakes where.

Asked twice during order for no mushrooms. Food still contained mushrooms. If you have an allergy be warned. This restaurant will most likely kill you.

It is a nice place, friendly staff, and quick service, hygiene wise when I walked in there was quite a bit of dust lying on the floor (could of been cleaned with a sweep round with a brush) and when food came it tasted a bit bland. Even though it’s local I would go further away.
