Salt and pepper boxes are way overpriced. With a sauce it was just off 19 pounds, way too much for 3 chicken balls, few wings, bits of rib. Full to the brim with chips obviously. Tasted fine but how can you justify the price of it. Not impressed.

Excellent food. Will definitely order from the Laughing Buddha again on the strength of what we ate today.

Always excellent food and on time

Always like this place and usually have set meals for two or more. On this occasion I ordered a favorite of mine, Special Chow Mein which was dry with no juice or sauce, there were no sliced chicken and pork on top as described, also it was very lacking in bean shoots, they we're hardly noticeable meaning no fresh crunch of bean shoots, just a pile of fairly dry noodles. I won't be ordering this again from here. It was tasty enough and was hot, delivery was ahead of time too. Can't fault this establishment other than this one meal was just not up to standard.

Good food, very tasty, good price. Food was quite late even for a Sat evening and they changed to "delivered" 25 mins before it actually arrived so had to phone and check.

chicken fried rice and honey and garlic ribs were lovely. My partner said the beef fried rice lacked flavour but was overall nice.

The crispy beef was sweet and bland (not even a little spicy), the chicken chow mein tasted like pot noodle noodles, the chicken curry sauce was bland and there was jelly on the chicken in the curry???! It was our first time ordering from here, as our normal Chinese restaurant wasn’t taking any orders tonight but we won’t be ordering from here again sorry.

The delivery driver was very nice. The food was hot when it arrived and was maybe a little bland for my taste but still very enjoyable.

The Singapore Vermicelli noodles were the best I've ever eaten. The salt and pepper box was also very tasty, very generous and offered a great variety. Best Chinese in Bristol 🙌🏼

I can not fault this place.... Good size portions, they don't skimp on the meat, but most importantly the best bbq sauce I've had in ages....

Buddha fried rice was nice. Special salt and pepper appetiser was not very hot, the chips were under cooked and it tasted too salty (coming from someone who likes salt on food). Food was not hot but was ok for eating quick.

The chow mein tasted like a pepper pot had been spilled on it and the chicken in it was not pleasant. The special fried rice had fatty bits in it we had to spit out. The prawn toast was chewy. We are not eating it and putting some toast on instead.

good value on the salt and chilli boxes, enough for 2-3 people. very good quality spent 50 quid and everyone was happy 👍

I had to amend the order. I phoned and they sorted it with no issues-thank you. Food arrived on time. Decent portion sizes. Ordered vegetable chow mein, egg fried rice, vegetable spring rolls chicken,chicken balls, salt and pepper chips, prawn crackers and curry sauce. Fed three people with leftovers and we all enjoyed it. The curry sauce wasn't spicy.

We ordered the chicken curry, duck with mixed vegetables, chicken & noodle soup and chicken & mushroom soup. Food was hot, ready to collect on time and tasty, would order from here again.

Placed an order for collection on New year's Eve and food was ready in 20 minutes. Food was very tasty. Ordered 2 different chicken soups, duck with vegetables, and chicken curry. I personally find it very hard to find nice succulent Chinese duck but Laughing Buddah was great. Would happily order again.

Very disappointing twice in a row now. Will not be ordering again. Beef with ginger and spring onions was 90% badly chopped brown onion and largely inedible.

MEAT in the vegetarian Singapore chow mein after lifetime of vegetarianism for religious reasons. and unfortunately food had to be redelivered due to delivery person not knocking, and they made us pay extra for this. Would appreciate a refund to be honest

We ordered a £54 order. The food didn't arrive so we called the restaurant. We weren't called and apparently the address was incorrect so we had to wait another 30 minutes for our food and they made us pay £3 extra for redelivery when it wasn't our fault. The most outrageous thing about this is that there was a piece of chicken in the vegetarian Singapore chow mein. This is gross contamination and any self respecting kitchen would never allow this. Its disgusting. All my life as a vegetarian for religious reasons and I found my food was contaminated with meat so I could not eat any of my food! Outrageous and so incompetent. Who knows how the kitchen staff handle food properly! The dish is advertised as vegetarian. A gross contamination like this in a other case could kill someone if they are allergic. Terrible, so disappointed.

Another fantastic meal which arrived hot and early. The Wonton Soup was excellent with lots of yummy wontons in it! Must order double portions of the spring rolls next time.

I really hate writing this but I have to be totally honest and hopefully the restaurant will take it into account and make some changes. I waited almost 2 hours for my food, which isn’t acceptable it was also cold on arrival. The lady did call me to say it would be 20 minutes late, however it was almost another hour on top of the hour I had waited already. The food is incredibly bland and we didn’t eat it. Total waste of money. Please take these comments on board and not just see them as nasty.

It took 2.5 hours get to us, they called us 2 hours after ordering to say they were only just making our food. Will not be going back in a hurry as it was ridiculous waiting time ordered at 7pm and didn’t eat til 9:40pm!

Can’t fault this place but if I had it my way I would limit the bamboo shoots and chestnut slices in the dishes but you can always ask to take these out!

Absolutely disgusting customer service & equally disgusting food. Sent me the wrong order and told me it was my problem. Wouldn’t feed this food to my dog. Will never order food from here again and wouldn’t recommend anyone else to either.

Honestly, one of the best Chinese meals I've had in a long time.

Duck tasted overcooked and not as succulent as I'm used to from other takeaways. Would have preferred thicker sauce for beef blackbean. Chicken soup tasty though. Friendly service on collection.

Really good Chinese takeaway. I'd recommend the spare ribs in Peking sauce, sesame prawn on toast, and Singapore chow mein. Has a card machine too so no need to carry cash unlike other Chinese takeaways.

The food is always delicious. This should genuinely be a 5 star rated take away. I eat their food often and have never had anything that wasn’t exceptional.

The duck was fatty and not at all edible.

The food was OK tasting but stone cold - we needed to put it in the microwave. Can't believe it's down to the time taken to deliver the food as we're only 4 minutes WALK away, so must have left the kitchen cold. Very poor standard.

Lovely as always but a few little niggles this time. The lamb in the curry was overcooked and dry and the Singapore vermicelli was a little bland even though we asked for extra chilli. Will be ordering again but maybe try something different. Thankyou.

Was 40 minutes late. If l wanted a later delivery l would have ordered it for a later time. This has happened on more than one occasion!

We've used Laughing Buddha a number of times and when at friends house too. Always good food. Unfortunately the delivery time let it down on this occasion. We've had deliveries from LB in the past, our address is not hard to find and in the additional note box I left a note saying the property has a big van on the driveway.

We have used this Chinese a number of times, the food always tastes fresh, and is really tasty, especially the Malaysian duck, really good food and fast delivery would definitely recommend
