Always have lovely food from here. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, always happy to remove ingredients from dishes for picky eaters - nothing is too much trouble for them. Reasonably priced food - my go to chinese takeaway!

Food is excellent and you don’t wait long. Would highly recommend. Singapore fried rice is especially delicious!

New to the area tried for the first time on Friday, I have got to say it’s the best tasting Chinese I have had it’s now Sunday and ordered again!! Highly recommend the food is so so tasty it’s my new favourite!!

Has this place changed owners recently? Used to be the best Chinese around, but the quality and taste of food has nosedived.

Ok but nothing special, went here because the closer one was rammed with people , wish I waited in the queue now.

Ordered a takeaway from here tonight. Usually I don’t have any issues but the salt and pepper chips were goey as was the black pepper chicken. The crispy duck wasn’t very crispy either with lots of fat. Extremely disappointing considering the price.

Just popped in for a few bags of chips. Gluten free. Managed to discuss the menu and options. Was assured that if I wanted to order the they could sort me out ( which is really reassuring) a tasty take away. Sounds like good ole attentive service to me? Can't wait to get my first " Chinese" for years.....👍

Lack of meat and veg in special fried rice and expensive for what it is. Lots of other Chinese in the local vicinity, very unlikely that I will return.

This is by far one of my most favourite Chinese takeaways! Very difficult to find anything better in this area. I drive a couple of miles to get my supper and it's worth the effort! Friendly staff and great food , I'll be visiting again soon x

Ordered takeaway new years eve expecting long wait but food was delivered in 45mins set meal for 2 was more than enough very tasty good value for money delivery driver very polite and friendly

I went in person and ordered salt and pepper chips and thought they would be the same size as a large portion, they cost £3.80, a little more than a large portion of chips. They said it would be ready in 5 minutes. It took 20minutes and was a tiny portion. I asked what the size of a large chips was and I was shown a small paper bag even smaller than my little portion. When I opened them they were not hot and really greasy. I can't comment on their other food but definitely don't recommend them for chips or salt and pepper chips. Small, over priced and not good. A shame as I've often found chips from a Chinese even more delicious. I won't be going back.

Always good food and friendly service

With my kitchen out of order I decided to have take away. My dish of choice is Lemon Chicken and this was ok, pineapple served with it which was surprising, never had that before. My second (which I warmed up the next day) was Beef and Broccoli . Disappointed is an understatement. Couldn't tell it was supposed to be Chinese from the flavour (or lack of it) and more Broccoli than anything else. No flavour at all sad to say

Our go to Chinese. The food is always hot and delicious, very often delivery is quicker than expected which is a bonus these days! Never had an issue from here. Lovely people on the phone and great delivery team too. Can’t recommend them highly enough and will continue to use them in the future.

Ordered a special foo Young with no prawns as my mum had a terrible allergic reaction to them it came with prawns lucky enough I noticed she would’ve been taken really ill if I hadn’t had noticed called the shop and they said sorry the girl is new very poor excuse

Very very poor food. The decor gave away the attention to detail currently being taken on the business. Light bulbs not working a number of wires hanging down, a really old and tired feel to the space. Food previously ok hence the visit but this was rubbish. No flavour, poor preparation and not good quality ingredients.

Tasty food. If you ask nicely, you always get some special twist to your order.

I think they forgot about my order .when I got home the rice seemed like it was under cooked and tasteless. I even had to add my own sauce to give it some flavour The chicken was nice but overall I wouldn't recommend this takeaway

Whilst the food is usually pretty good, although today it was not as good - I’m not sure whether we will want to go back in the near future. As per the title we are in a global pandemic due to Covid 19 - yet no one serving behind the counter or anyone cooking in the kitchen this evening - are wearing face masks. You can see through the double doors into the kitchen. It definitely makes me now think what other hygiene issues are potentially being missed in this take away Chinese food restaurant. I’m pretty sure local authorities would want to know why no one is wearing a mask - whilst serving, preparing and cooking food for members of the public during this pandemic.!

Where to start? Was told a 30min wait for collection but it was closer to an hour, when I got in there I was charged for someone else’s order that had already been paid! Food was awful! Mini spring rolls with little to no filling, Thai green chicken curry with the most anaemic looking rubber chicken you could find and bland! Didn’t follow ANY social distancing guidelines instead letting as many people pack into the tiny waiting area that they could allow! Will definitely not be returning!

Living about 5 miles away this isn't our local... but its fast become our favourite Chinese takeaway and we'll worth driving past others on the way. Staff are friendly and polite, food is always piping hot and tasty. And the egg fried rice actually has some flavour to it. Definitely recommend, and will keep coming back for our monthly Chinese!

Not good quality food, my chicken sweet and sour chicken tasted old every bite was a struggle. The chow mein was so dry Inc the boiled rice. Polite service though Will not come again.

Saturday early evening couldn’t get through by phone to order so visited during Covid 19 so 6 in shop. Waiting ordering and collecting took about only 20 minutes. Excellent and excellent food too! Decent size portions! Would recommend .

Dont usally use this take away but we were passing so we popped in for some curry sauce with chips. Very small portion and overpriced. will not be using again.

Food okay, but check what you have ordered before you leave, as every time I have ordered food from here I have found that one of the order was missing.

Been waiting for an over an hour since we placed our order. Useless. Shame there isn't a zero star option.

I telephoned the order through. Went to pick it up and it wasn’t until I got home that I realised one of the dishes was missing! 😡so rang them up and they said we they would give us it with our next order NO WAY! We will be straight back up to collect it now thanks. We went back and luckily it was ready for us so no wait but in the mean time the other dishes are getting cold having to make the extra journey back to the shop. Food wasn’t too bad but I would say check you have everything you ordered before you leave the shop.

We’ve tried a lot of local Chinese places but this is by far the best! All the food is super tasty, not oily or greasy like some places. The service is quick and delivery is never very long.

Probably the best Chinese in the Longwell Green / Hanham area. The lemon chicken may be the best I've ever tasted and the salt and pepper squid is also better than average. Last time I looked, there was no food hygiene sticker on the door... Is that still true? If there is, I'll give u five stars.

Was told food would be 25 mins. Phoned after an hour to see where it was. Was told would get some freebies. 1 hr 45 mins later food arrived with freebies being fortune cookies 😯 had very upset hungry boys waiting for food. Food was nice just couldn't enjoy it as took so long

This was our regular Chinese takeaway. Used to be really nice, however last 3 times, including the latest experience - means we will not go back. Time now to find a new regular Chinese takeaway..! Having stood in queue to be served, they decide to then take phone call orders, before people who have been waiting in the queue patiently. 2 phone calls taken whilst we waited to order/pay.. Surely customers stood in front of you should be served first, before taking the phone call. ..it's called common decency. Moving on.., had to wait 30 mins for food to be served, but, and hence the earlier reference to 3 times - got home with food (short distance), and for the third time running it was cold. On the first two previous occasions we mentioned it to them, but still lessons not learnt by the proprietors. It was however easy to see why the food is being served cold.. You can see through into the kitchen. The food is bagged and left on the kitchen side. It then needs the person at the front to swiftly come and collect to hand to the customer.. which sadly takes forever, because they are on the phone continuing to take telephone orders...!!!!!

As the title says.... best in the area. When I first moved to longwell green 8 years ago, I used to use another Chinese takeaway not far from this one near tesco but my partner and I were often sick after the food there. We switched to Orient express and never looked back. Highly recommended

Lush food & really friendly people

We get take away from here quite often and it is always tasty. They offer a huge selection of dishes so one can experiment with a variety of offerings. We always liked the salt and pepper chicken wings but this last time we noticed that the wings have halved in size and they are no longer covered in the lovely batter which they used to be? Please bring back the old recipe.

Encontré este para llevar a comer solo y miraba para ver si me entregan a mi código postal. Había un cargo que yo estaba más que dispuesto a pagar, incluso pagando un extra de £1 o así para la milla extra por las 3 millas a la redonda. Nos dijeron que no, pero cuando la comida llegó (que era normal en el mejor - tibio y sosa cata) el conductor dijo que el propietario ha dicho no pide de nosotros como demasiado lejos. Todavía es posible pedir y han entregado a comer solo, pero ten cuidado si viven en BS 30.

Comida para llevar local que ofrece buena comida sabrosa comida china. Sólo dejar en orden, o pedir por teléfono para la recogida o entrega la comida. Nos gusta que ofrecen un medio tamaño pelotas dulce y amarga.

Tenemos una comida aquí cada pocas semanas. La comida siempre es buena y el tiempo de entrega es muy rápido. Recomiendo la sal y la pimienta alas de pollo y pato crujiente ambos son excelentes. Nos gusta la selección de China, Mongolia y Tailandia. El personal es muy amable y siempre nos recuerda lo que es muy agradable.

Visited many times although quality is not what it used to be due to change of ownership/chef. Never had anything particularly bad but had tastier Chinese food elsewhere. Portions of curry, bbq, sweet and sour sauce are small compared to other similar takeaways. Food could be hotter. Continue to use occasionionally as local to us. Not worth travelling to especially.

1 item missing and 1 item wrong. Just Eat haven't responded to my complaint either so no hope in getting any refund for these items. If you want what you ordered - go elsewhere.

I had to call after 1 1/2 hour wait then informed that it had been delivered, was made and delivered swiftly but was told at the door a man had taken orinal food and came into my house! I Was basically accused of taking double the order without paying! So was left totally offended and was too late to eat as it was two hours after original order!
