@thecookingflea Supper Club in Bath 06/12/24. Hosted at the lovely @plant.eat.licious cafe.
5 courses of Vegan Italian Christmas deliciousness, I would have licked the plates clean but though better not!
Each plate had a family Christmas story behind it so beautifully told by Italian chef Carmen aka @thecookingflea and presented so thoughtfully.
Great evening, great company, highly recommend. Will go again!
We were 2 indian families, 8 nos in total, with a mix of veg and non-veg preferences. We really enjoyed our dinner experience at Mittee - the food was just 5 star amazing, with a good ambience, and very attentive staff. Plenty of parking in front and nearby which is a big plus.
Coming to the meals, our group (aged between 10 to late 40s) went through a number of starters and main course dishes, all of them fantastic and fabulous. Notes below:
Starters
========
- If you are a veggie, we strongly recommend Chilli Veg Momos and Veg Manchurian.
- The non-veg contingent really enjoyed Chicken Tikka and Chilli Chicken in a semi dry gravy that can only be described as mouth wateringly delicious!
Mains
======
- You may not see this on the menu, but ask if you can get a Paneer Alina (named after a family member we heard) - really tasty to a desi palette
- Those who tasted Chicken Mirchi had only superlatives to describe it
- Naans were fresh and delicious
Overall, a new found gem in Bromley. Suspect we will be coming here often henceforth. You now have 8 regulars i think!
Mittee team - keep up the good work! keep up the taste! Thank you

Phenomenal pizza at a sensible price. You have to go into the centre to get anything on par to this and you’ll pay more for it. Lovely friendly people as well. We have used many times and will keep coming back.
Just had the best breakfast I have ever had in any cafe, coffee shop or restaurant. The food is high quality and very tasty. They make an English Breakfast appear healthy.
I absolutely love this family run cafe . Kerry and Rich are so lovely and welcoming. I’m a coffee snob and the coffee here is spot on . I should have put a photo of my breakfast on but I’ve eaten it , lol . The food is beautifully seasoned and very good value for money . There are tables outside but it’s pet friendly anyway . They also do outside catering . Please support this local business.
A nice friendly little cafe for the over 50s. took my mum and dad in there, we felt very welcome, good place to rest and have a nice cup of tea and a biscuit.or coffee and a cake.
British home cooked classics like bubble and squeak that give you that cozy feeling. Staff are super friendly. Need to come back for their home baked cakes.
I think it is great to have this Cafe here now - I was about to attend the service of a family friend, not of an age you would normally expect to hear someone has died, and had known him all my life so very sad and nervous about attending the service, especially as I was on my own. The bright welcome made me feel so much better and I was able to sit and munch and look out of the window and psych myself up before finding the relevant chapel, which the ladies serving were also able to help with and point me in the right direction. It helped to wind down after the service (which was lovely - the funeral celebrant had really familiarised himself with the background) with a glass of wine afterwards whilst I waited for my taxi. Nice selection of food and speciality teas as well
Been here a few times now for takeaways. Food is great quality and very tasty. Lovely people too. Not the best setting but for takeaways is fine. Thoroughly recommend.
