I have been lucky to attend two of Carmenās unique and well-crafted eating experiences- a lunch club in Bristol and a special Italian festive feast in Bath.
Both events showcased Carmenās creative and thoughtful cooking with carefully thought out menus, which delighted all guests on my table-vegan and non-vegan alike.
Moreover, Carmen creates a welcoming atmosphere and friendly feel at these events, where delicious food sits alongside the joy of sharing a meal with others on your table.
Highly recommended for amazing food and a unique supper club experience.

From the time we arrived till we left what an amazing restaurant and the friendliest staff ever. We were greeted by the manager and head chef. We had driven from Brighton to eat here and it certainly was worth it. The food is just beautiful and the tasting menu was explained to us every step of the way. From the beginning to the end it was just perfect. We were even given some cookies when we left for our journey home the following day. Henry and his team are just so kind polite and friendly. We had a wonderful evening and definitely will return. Thank you Damson. Xxxx
A fabulous local restaurant/cafe - amazing food, super healthy lunch had by us both of their chickpea curry and my partner the veggie curry. The friendliest of people, fab colourful decorations, great service all round.
We will certainly be back soon
Thank you
We were 2 indian families, 8 nos in total, with a mix of veg and non-veg preferences. We really enjoyed our dinner experience at Mittee - the food was just 5 star amazing, with a good ambience, and very attentive staff. Plenty of parking in front and nearby which is a big plus.
Coming to the meals, our group (aged between 10 to late 40s) went through a number of starters and main course dishes, all of them fantastic and fabulous. Notes below:
Starters
========
- If you are a veggie, we strongly recommend Chilli Veg Momos and Veg Manchurian.
- The non-veg contingent really enjoyed Chicken Tikka and Chilli Chicken in a semi dry gravy that can only be described as mouth wateringly delicious!
Mains
======
- You may not see this on the menu, but ask if you can get a Paneer Alina (named after a family member we heard) - really tasty to a desi palette
- Those who tasted Chicken Mirchi had only superlatives to describe it
- Naans were fresh and delicious
Overall, a new found gem in Bromley. Suspect we will be coming here often henceforth. You now have 8 regulars i think!
Mittee team - keep up the good work! keep up the taste! Thank you
Visited for lunch. Chicken Cesar salad . Coffee, salad with plenty of chicken, mixed sides. Service is excellent. Clean and friendly. Toilets spotless, baby changing supplies. A place for two or more. Or you can come as a single or couple, and sit in lovely sofas and read the papers, watch folk and drink very nice coffee. You could waste a good couple of lovely hours here. Thank you, we will be back. Oh yes, watch out for the cakes !!!
I absolutely love this family run cafe . Kerry and Rich are so lovely and welcoming. Iām a coffee snob and the coffee here is spot on . I should have put a photo of my breakfast on but Iāve eaten it , lol . The food is beautifully seasoned and very good value for money . There are tables outside but itās pet friendly anyway . They also do outside catering . Please support this local business.
We popped in when we were in the area after being recommended by friends. The two locals running it while we were there were friendly and helpful. The coffee was delicious as was the cake. There was a good stock of local items as well as more unusual preserves and condiments etc.
We will definitely return - this sort of place needs supporting.
A nice friendly little cafe for the over 50s. took my mum and dad in there, we felt very welcome, good place to rest and have a nice cup of tea and a biscuit.or coffee and a cake.
