The best restaurants serving Indian food in South Gloucestershire South West

We were 2 indian families, 8 nos in total, with a mix of veg and non-veg preferences. We really enjoyed our dinner experience at Mittee - the food was just 5 star amazing, with a good ambience, and very attentive staff. Plenty of parking in front and nearby which is a big plus. Coming to the meals, our group (aged between 10 to late 40s) went through a number of starters and main course dishes, all of them fantastic and fabulous. Notes below: Starters ======== - If you are a veggie, we strongly recommend Chilli Veg Momos and Veg Manchurian. - The non-veg contingent really enjoyed Chicken Tikka and Chilli Chicken in a semi dry gravy that can only be described as mouth wateringly delicious! Mains ====== - You may not see this on the menu, but ask if you can get a Paneer Alina (named after a family member we heard) - really tasty to a desi palette - Those who tasted Chicken Mirchi had only superlatives to describe it - Naans were fresh and delicious Overall, a new found gem in Bromley. Suspect we will be coming here often henceforth. You now have 8 regulars i think! Mittee team - keep up the good work! keep up the taste! Thank you

Excellent food, very good choice at a fair price, delivered on time. Only minor comment, the Onion Bhajis were quite greasy, however this is not that unusual.

Now a pop up Real Ale bar called The Beer Patch with an excellent range of Real Ale. Other drink available too so all covered. Friendly and helpful service. Highly Recommended

Been here twice. While the food is fresh and piping hot there is no real depth of flavour. Don’t get me wrong it’s by no means bad but definitely overrated.

Absolute quality of ingredients and cooking. The samosa chat was ridiculously good, as was the chicken jalfrezi and all the sides. Think I have found my favourite Indian takeaway now!! Would 100% recommend.

Had a chicken chat puri, a lamb rogan, a garlic naan and a 600ml bottle of lager; not only was the food absolutely gorgeous, the setting was lovely, the food arrived quickly, the staff were friendly and the WHOLE THING cost only £24, which is only £6 more than I paid for a KFC earlier this week!!! I moved here recently and this place is only a 5-10 minute walk from my house; I'll be a regular visitor, guaranteed.

Tried this place 2xs as reviews where outstanding and we thought it was just a bad night the first time. Worst curry house I have ever tried. Food was bland and what they think is indian food is definitely not what I would call indian food. Food was warm but that was it the second lot of food we couldn't even eat as it was so bad. Never order again I was so sick after the last order

I ordered some food for collection. It was ready on time when I arrived. The food was delicious. The lamb was so tender and broke apart easily and the mushroom rice was fantastic. I would definitely order from them again and recommend it

We went to dinner, three couples. The place is average. The food is delicious, but it's unpleasant. Someone should immediately take a look at the cleanliness of the bathrooms. The smell of urine was unpleasant and nauseating, and I doubt it was hygienic. For a restaurant, it's very, very neglected! The wait staff lacks attention, smiles, and kindness!

Visited couple of weeks back for dinner. Authentic South Indian taste & proactive team !!! Planning to make another dinner sometime soon🙂

Have to agree. Great food, large portions, good flavours. Attentive staff and byob. Easy parking and excellent value.

Best curry we've had in a long time! Will definitely order again soon.
