We go hear for curry all the time but tonight it was not good the garlic nan was cold and dry the chicken tikka masala was oily and had no flavour to it at all and only warm it’s usually very hot and the rice was cold very disappointing tonight waste of money £34 not good at all will have to look for a new place now

Really love the food from spice factory, but tonight there was a glitch and the sauce on two meals split and was very watery. Hopefully a one off.

Used a few times & food has been excellent. Today they forgot one thing but I called the. & they got it to me within 10 mins & full of apologies. these things happen but they were brilliant in sorting it. We will continue to use this Curry House. Best one in the area & Southern Indian dishes superb & so nice to have that option. well done & thank you.

Really delicious food! The refreshing wipes were a nice touch too. Would it be possible to add a vegetable option on the classic dishes? I would love to try the dhansak too if there was a vegetarian option

Delicious food with outstanding customer service.

Delivery time was 1 hour 40mins, estimated delivery time when ordering was 45-55mins. No communication from restaurant without me prompting them. If they were upfront about it when I ordered then I wouldn't have minded as much. No apology, no offer of any money off despite asking. Curry also only had 6 small pieces of chicken.Won't order again - food is alright but service is terrible.

We regularly order from Bristol Spice Factory but were very disappointed tonight when our food arrived after nearly 2 hours. Some of it was cold and the rest didn't taste as nice as it usually does. Unfortunately we'll probably order elsewhere in future

Decent food but portion sizes are way too small to the point where it is ridiculous.

First time we placed an order here we were very unhappy with the food and left a bad review. The management took immediate action and refunded us the money, additionally they also offered a free order and was very happy with the food we got! The first time order was a butter paneer and lamb tikka which was very poor. But the dhupiaza and chicken biriyani was really flavourful and tasty. Thanks to the team!

Great curry. Food was tasty, fresh and hot. Glad to have a good curry takeaway again.

Very disappointed. The lamb biryani was way too oily, with small chunks of lamb, and the veg had very little sauce, which only just covered a quarter of the horrid oily rice, yuk!

Sorry to say that tonights meal was not up to the usual standard. The onion bhajis were almost rock-hard, they clearly were not fresh. Possibly a day old? The chicken Rogan was practically tasteless, and not a hint of any spices. Finally, I could taste that the poppadums had been fried in not so fresh oil. Really disappointed tonight.

12 September 2023 First time we used the spice factory and wasn't disappointed. We usually get takeaway from chilli inn but I was closed. Ordered 10 different curries and every person really enjoyed their curry I personally had chicken balti it was delicious, just say we will be using The Spice Factory in the future, chili inn loss spice factory gain

Takeaway Indian is hard to be excellent as the food has to travel but this is by far the best Indian I have tasted, full of flavour and cooked to perfection A definite must try from a curry enthusiast You are very unlikely to be disapointed, 10 out of 10, also helps as very nice people with high standards

I have ordered here a few times now and every time it has been delicious. I love a curry with spice and full of flavours and this place doesn't disappointed me. Definitely the best curry take away in Kingswood, Bristol

Arrived 2 hours after order and cold. Number for the restaurant on the app doesn’t work. Had to google for the number. Eventually got through 10 mins after delivery was supposed to be there to be told the order is in the kitchen, after over 1.5 hours of waiting. Taste wasn’t bad which is a shame as it was cold.

The food was over an hour late. Tried calling the restaurant multiple times throughout the hour+ is was late and no answer the whole time. When it did finally arrive, it was so late that I’d usually be in bed by that time. When I opened it to my dismay it was spilled everywhere and the portions were less than half the usual sizes. Such a shame as this place has been great the past few times I’ve ordered from them. Doubt I’ll take the risk again though after this experience.

I ordered at 7:50 on Friday night, delivery time came up 8:55-9:15, long wait but okay it’s Friday. At 9:15 it said it had left for delivery and then 10 minutes later showed as delivered. I hadn’t received anything, tried to call the restaurant and it didn’t go through. Sent a message on just eat and they said it’s late so I requested money back (I’ve not received anything). It finally arrived at 9:35, an hour and 45 minutes after ordering. Food was hot but not well cooked, chicken was chewy, very little sauce in the tikka masala, I actually ran out of the sauce. Kulcha was flat and chewy. Samosas we’re barely cooked. It was all fine but just that and not the standard I’ve previously had from this place. It was a disappointment after having to wait so long. It’s a shame because this is usually my go to and the previous standard has been so high.

I have been using this restaurant for a couple of months now and can’t fault anything. Always on time excellent quality and still hot highly recommended.

Bit of a longer wait but it was bank holiday so i'm sure they were busy. Food quality was very good, all 4 of us enjoyed our meals. Mine was especially nice- Chicken Garlic Masala. We also had bombay potatoes which were good and you get two onion bahjis so we all could have some. Overall, very happy with the food and the wait time was about 50 mins but we were warned (35-50 mins).
