The flavours were good but the meat was a bit chewy and the rice a bit rubbish. Lovely naan. Overall ok but could be better. Will try them again I think.

Onion bhajis and yogurt sauce were delicious. Peshwari naan was good. However, currys could have been better, not that much flavour. Especially the butter chicken which was the worst of the 3 and barely had any taste. Thank you for including some rice for us as we had forgotten to add it to the order!

Disappointing after the good reviews. The starters were alright but the mains didn’t taste good. The jalfrezi was way too hot with chopped green chilis and the madras had a strange taste like ketchup,

Excellent food and service. Best Indian food around. Reasonable prices. Eat in or take away. Small dining area with lovely atmosphere. BYO. Would highly recommend. This was my go to for Indian food when they first opened and now I'm back in Bristol, am so glad they are still here and the food is every bit as amazing as it always was.

My lamb dansak was pretty good and the meat in it was nice but everything else was poor. The chicken was too dry in the Korma and the sauce tasted odd. The peshwari nans didn't taste of much and the biryani tasted almost like a spicy western gravy with some overcooked meat and frozen vegetables in it. I don't really like leaving bad reviews but they remind me where to go to again and where not to.

Always the most delicious curry

We chose this restaurant due to good reviews. Definitely didn’t disappoint, absolutely could not fault this place. We were given the BEST of welcome to start with and the food was amazing. First time having an Indian dish with fish and it was gorgeous. Everything was full of flavour ,just perfect. Visiting here from Pembrokeshire will definitely come back and visit when we are up here next without a doubt. Thank you so much for everything we couldn’t have felt more welcome.

Fantastic meal , best onion bhaji we have ever had. And we have eaten Indian up and down the country. Lovely flavours to our curries and fabulous table service from the staff. We will be back very soon and would highly recommend to anyone looking for great flavours and value for money 😀

The food from here is normally very good, but mine arrived cold and around 10 minutes after the app had said the food had been delivered. Not the same cold, delivery was very late

There wasn't much meat in the masala, 5 peices of lamb shared between 2 people isn't alot.

Generous portions at fair price, tasty food and very well cooked lamb. Melting as it suppose to be. Only suggestion is to add in Dhansak description that is sweet.

We ordered a takeaway from Shadins on Saturday night - spent over £100 for a meal for 6 people. We found the food to be pretty bland. The 2 x madras were spicy/hot but didn’t taste of much and were very watery - literally a puddle of water on the plates! The Jaipur didn’t taste of anything at all and the chicken was tough and dry. One of the most bland curries i've ever had - also very watery like the other mains. The chicken Rogan Josh, Tikka Masala and Pasanda again all tasted like they’d been watered down and didn’t taste like they should. The Pasanda barely had any chicken in it. The cheese naan didn’t contain or taste like cheese. Could’ve been a plain one despite saying cheese Naan on the bag. Peshwari Naan was pretty nice and the rice was all fine. Really really disappointing and all in all a really not very enjoyable meal. Just very surprised at the food - we’ve had a few tasteless meals with very little meat from here before - but then also some good takeaways - so it seems to be very hit and miss. This was probably one of the worst we've had so we probably wouldn't get a curry from here again.

Really disappointing takeaway for 5 people. All dishes lacked flavour, other than salt and one dish with too much coconut. The chicken was dry in all dishes.

More than happy with early delivery - requested asap. Always courteous driver. New dish tried: not disappointed: very generous portion. Chicken Tikka Massala sauce was an odd shade, but my wife was happy with flavour. All in all, a tasty early dinner.

We ordered a pretty large order for a family celebration. Food was ready to pick up within half hour of phoning. Not only did they kindly discount a little off the bill, they added several complementary dishes to share, which our party was really grateful for and thoroughly enjoyed. Quite a few meals were ordered and all different. Everyone agreed the food was delicious and still pipping hot. A really enjoyable evening for Fathers Birthday who loves curry and certainly did not dissapoint. Thanks again Shadin for excellent food and customer service. We will certainly return and recommend.

Delicious tender meat. Full of flavour.

Ordered online New Years Eve as soon as the restaurant allowed. Order immediately accepted. Meal arrived late and with less protein in the dishes than usual. Korma also very different to that last enjoyed in the restaurant. Good quality overall, but clearly cost cutting involved.

Food was very late with no communication. Ordered at 6.15. Delivery time 7.10-7.30 arrived at 8pm. Chicken very dry and meals cold. Very disappointed. Paid £55 and feel ripped off. Been using this takeaway for 20+ years. Think it’s time to change .

Food was good personally I like my Indian dishes alot more spicy as I'm Asian but I have no complaints only one thing the portion of the king Prawns were not enough and the dish wasn't cheap £12.95. I like Shadin very much and I will be ordering again.
