Food as always is so good! Tastes great and always enough left over for another meal. Love it!

Really amazing food but 1 naan was missing. Didn't bother to ring as no point by the time it would have got to us but was great!!

Really disappointing takeaway for 5 people. All dishes lacked flavour, other than salt and one dish with too much coconut. The chicken was dry in all dishes.

Food was spot on but unfortunately forgot my poppadoms so the chutneys were wasted

More than happy with early delivery - requested asap. Always courteous driver. New dish tried: not disappointed: very generous portion. Chicken Tikka Massala sauce was an odd shade, but my wife was happy with flavour. All in all, a tasty early dinner.

We ordered a pretty large order for a family celebration. Food was ready to pick up within half hour of phoning. Not only did they kindly discount a little off the bill, they added several complementary dishes to share, which our party was really grateful for and thoroughly enjoyed. Quite a few meals were ordered and all different. Everyone agreed the food was delicious and still pipping hot. A really enjoyable evening for Fathers Birthday who loves curry and certainly did not dissapoint. Thanks again Shadin for excellent food and customer service. We will certainly return and recommend.

Ordered online New Years Eve as soon as the restaurant allowed. Order immediately accepted. Meal arrived late and with less protein in the dishes than usual. Korma also very different to that last enjoyed in the restaurant. Good quality overall, but clearly cost cutting involved.

Wouldn’t be Christmas without a Christmas Eve shads. Amazing curry as always, thanks Andy and co!

Food was very late with no communication. Ordered at 6.15. Delivery time 7.10-7.30 arrived at 8pm. Chicken very dry and meals cold. Very disappointed. Paid £55 and feel ripped off. Been using this takeaway for 20+ years. Think it’s time to change .

Food was good personally I like my Indian dishes alot more spicy as I'm Asian but I have no complaints only one thing the portion of the king Prawns were not enough and the dish wasn't cheap £12.95. I like Shadin very much and I will be ordering again.

We tried the Shadin for the first time yesterday based on it's ratings and we weren't disappointed. Andy and the staff are very welcoming and the food was great. Recommendation from 2 of our group was the tawa dish. It's listed as lamb but they will do chicken on request. I personally had the Jal which was also very good. The prices are very reasonable and you can take your own booze. We will definitely be returning again soon.

Fantastic service, really chilled out & relaxed environment with a good ‘vibe’. AMAZING food. Asked for a Chicken Tikka Tawa, which was not a specified option on the menu, but a as accommodated - and was delicious. Great chutneys, lovely Garlic Naan. Just all tremendous.

Dreadful just got our takeaway..dansak, Madras.. absolutely awful..tasteless watery..been hit and miss for a couple of years now but this is a new low

It was nice of the staff to put our drinks in the fridge. We were able to bring our own drinks without corkage fee. The food was incredibly delicious, I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful food...I'd say the best Indian this side of Bristol. I remember using them when they first opened but a few moves around the south west and I stopped. Happy to have discovered they are still there all these years later and they are still the best. Naan was big compared to anywhere else and full of flavour. Poppadoms crispy, the pilau rice and madras again, full of flavour. And it's the first time in years I've actually been full after an Indian. Will be back now as a regular and would highly recommend to everyone.

Just disappointed with the chicken Bhuna, it was very bland. Tikka Masala was lovely though. I Did order 2 spicy poppadoms & only got 1, not a big deal but worth a mention as thats what the reviews are for.

Our order arrived late which I suppose for a Saturday night take away might not be unusual. The food wasn’t hot, more like luke warm, and in general the flavour & texture of the chicken kurma was disappointing. The chicken was dry & the sauce was almost neon yellow. We wondered if it had been reheated rather than cooked fresh. It’s the first take away we’ve had in years and judging by our experience we won’t be rushing towards another one.

Not the best experience ordering from Shadins. The food arrived late which was annoying but I suppose not unusual for a Saturday night take-away delivery however the food was luke warm at best even though the metal containers were hot. The chips and rice were warmer but also not hot. We had a chicken kurma and a kurma sauce as they didn’t have a vegetarian kurma option, also disappointing. The chicken was dry and both the sauce and meat seemed like it had been reheated rather than cooked fresh. In general the flavour & texture just wasn’t great & the curry looked almost a neon yellow. The order cost £24 for one chips, one rice, one naan, one chicken kurma & a kurma sauce. I don’t know how that compares to other places as it was our first take away in years. Overall it was a disappointing experience, especially as there were so many 5 star reviews online. I don’t think we’ll be rushing for another take away any time soon.

Ordered at 7pm, and given ETA of 8:10 - 8:30. Called restaurant at 8:55 to be told they were very busy and waiting for drivers. Food eventually delivered at 9:35 but needed reheating at this point.

We’ve eaten at Shadin several times and always had great food. The friendly staff really make the experience. We’ll definitely be back.

This restaurant may not be the swankiest, may not have the best decor, best location, or have posh crockery, but it deserves a 5 star rating from us. We are all about the food, our MD has been coming to this restaurant for many years ... since it opened and moreover has his own dish on the menu and we were very curious as to why he came here. Now we know, the food was simply amazing added Andy to the mix, with his left field sense of humour and you have a night to remeber.

I tried something different this time, & did not enjoy it as much. I will sill stick with Shadin though, they are the best in my area.

First time visiting yesterday, the food was exquisite and we were able to explain what sort of thing we wanted which they then cooked to perfection, and so much of it, was awesome value. The owner is a true gent and I would definitely return without question.

It’s bring your own drink which was a first for us and we found it really convenient given that there is a Tesco just up the road, which keeps the costs down too from an already really affordable menu.

Due to the summer I’ve laid off curry , so this is the first for a while - this used to be my go to place all the time in the past , after what me and my guest received , not even a refund would make me come back - food was tasteless , extras not even edible , rice disgusting - I hate giving negative feedback - but this waste of my hard earned money deserves it !

Average experience with this food. Took about an hour to arrive which is fine they did state it would be about 30-55 mins. Partners food was OK, chicken decent. Tandoori chicken was good as well as naan bread. Lamb was dry unfortunately. Not the best experience not the worst.

Delicious food, fantastic hosting skills from Andy and Jon. We enjoyed a family meal for my sons birthday. Nothing was to much trouble even with a fussy eater and allergies. Every bite was delicious including the leftovers the next day. The portions are plentiful, fresh and cooked to order. This is the best Bristol curry house!!!

I used to only ever eat a Korma, not willing to try any other curry as thought they would all be far too hot! However, that all changed when I met my partner and he introduced me to Shadins!! Aware that he had been visiting Shadins since he was 11years old approx…he is now 35!!…I was willing to branch out on my taste buds… I have been going there ever since…approx. 12years and I would not go to any other curry house, nowhere compares!! Andy, John and the rest of the team are always so friendly and welcoming, they always accommodate us and always ensure that we have left happy, with full belly’s and with complementary chocolate in hand! As we have been going there for so long they know our likes and dislikes and always create new concoctions to suit us personally…I have many favourites but one I would highly recommend is a chicken Bhuna with saag tawa curry…absolutely lovely…bursting with flavours!!! The curry’s are amazing, generous portions (I can never finish and have to take a doggy bag home), all reasonably priced and there is also the perk of bring your own alcohol…much to the dismay of Andy and John as we are usually the last ones to leave…waiting for us to finish our last drink! You would do well to even find anywhere on par with Shadins!!

We were missing our bahjies. Couldn't phone as line appeared to be faulty. This is the 3rd time that something has been missing.

Absolutely disgusting. Mushroom garlic rice was dripping in oil. I ordered a butter chicken curry, which came as a thick peanut butter sauce, when it is not supposed to contain any peanuts, nor was it disclosed on the website. I only had found out that they used peanut butter in the curry after calling to complain. Very dangerous for someone with a peanut allergy. I also ordered a chicken tikka masala which I had found a piece of metal in, when speaking to the restaurant they were adamant it was cinnamon bark. Also ordered 2 nan breads and got the opposite of what I ordered. Delivery took over 1hr. Will never order again.

We have just had our chicken tikka dansak with rice and peshwari naan from Shadins - but at John O’Groats in our Motorhome 👍❤️😘 Mmmmm delicious!!! Thanks Andy - we really wouldn’t go anywhere else! ❤️

The best curry we have ever tasted, the staff are so friendly and go above and beyond to make their customers happy. It’s our second time having food from here and we’ve finally found a decent curry house in Bristol ! Thank you guys again for another 5 * meal!!
