I think it is great to have this Cafe here now - I was about to attend the service of a family friend, not of an age you would normally expect to hear someone has died, and had known him all my life so very sad and nervous about attending the service, especially as I was on my own. The bright welcome made me feel so much better and I was able to sit and munch and look out of the window and psych myself up before finding the relevant chapel, which the ladies serving were also able to help with and point me in the right direction. It helped to wind down after the service (which was lovely - the funeral celebrant had really familiarised himself with the background) with a glass of wine afterwards whilst I waited for my taxi. Nice selection of food and speciality teas as well

I have visited this Cafe before & couldn't praise it highly enough - however I have recently attended a funeral at Westerleigh Crematorium & the family had arranged their 'Wake' at one of the Hospitality Suites that are adjacent to the Willow Tree Cafe - Wow! What I experienced (as did all of our family) was a truly wonderful 'celebration of life' - the food was freshly prepared & all the cakes were homemade - plentiful tea & coffee & licensed bar too! Everything was absolutely perfect - spotlessly clean, bright & comfortable but what prompted this review was the overall care & consideration the Hospitality Staff showed to us (sure they must be doing this daily - but their friendly & personal care was beyond exceptional) was amazing. Our family were given a personal recommendation to hold the wake here & we are so glad we did.

We visited the willow tree cafe for a second time yesterday after tending to our relatives grave. As we have small children we thought it best to stop and have lunch too. The cafe is set up wonderfully for breakfast, lunch, drinks and snacks but also hospitality and, whilst we haven't used it for a wake, would certainly find it to be most accomodating for small or large bookings. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. We were made to feel so incredibly welcome on both our visits. I cannot recommend the place highly enough to friends and family members who have relatives at westerleigh. Collette, who we've met on both visits is a credit to the cafe and could not have been more kind and helpful. The cookies and omlettes are highly recommended (I realised I had made an error on my first post so deleted and rewrote)

Bright & Airy Cafe - Homemade Cakes, Great Menu - everything from Bacon or Sausage Bap to Panini's - we sampled their homemade Scotch Eggs - totally amazing. Quality Coffee & Prices are reasonable too.......Whats extra special is that there is absolutely masses of parking & everything is on one level - Toilets are spotless clean too. Staff are always lovely too - with nothing being too much trouble - highly recommended.

We booked the Willow Tree Café after my aunt’s funeral and were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the buffet option we chose was fantastic. This included sandwiches, soup, quiches, home made sausage rolls and a variety of cakes with tea and coffee. We would definitely recommend the café for a wake. Many thanks.

Called in here when we went for a walk along the coastal path. Was very curtly told they stop taking food orders at 2.45pm, granted it was a few minutes before that time but wouldn’t take a food order, wouldn’t let us have Quiche from the display cabinet but reluctantly let us have a couple of pieces of cake, which was served to our table in 2 brown paper bags. Then brought food out for the table next to us on plates. In summary, not very welcoming and tbh quite a rude attitude. Won’t bother next time we walk there..
