The Midland Spinner in South Gloucestershire

Popped here for Johnny Fest to show my respects to Jonny stalard a DJ legend that passed away recently. On my visit there was a trailer stage in the car park and a DJ in the bar. The atmosphere here was electric it's definitely a locals pub but everyone was friendly the pub showed football in the beer garden after the music on the stage closed down. The service at the bar was friendly prices are reasonable I'll probably visit this place again when passing when it's operating normally just for a casual pint.

Well, not what I expected, we stopped off on a cycle through and fancied a pint. This was a proper locals pub where I'm sure everyone was friendly but I felt lucky to emerge alive 😁 lovely staff though and a good tasty san miguel!

No food, this pub is great for live entertainment, also has a nice outside garden, where live acts play. Great atmosphere, good people, and some excellent live acts 👍

Went there for an away Cribbage match. The pub was really busy, yet the service was still excellent. Decent amount of parking A covered area with tables outside next to the car park. Appears to be a drinking pub & the atmosphere was excellent. 2 large TVs showing the football from TNT Sports. A good night out.

Drinks were fine, filled rolls and crisps the only option at lunchtime. Small area to drink outside, decent selection of ciders, one ale on draft

Good place to go for a beer. Only drank. Plus, you can sit outside too.

Went there with my partner and her family for my birthday and a singer . Absolutely brilliant day .

Lovely friendly pub!! Good prices , lotsn of drinks and mini cheddars available (sign of a brilliant pub), really friendly landlady... I stopped off here on the 19 bus to Bath and was really happy I did! 🍻 It's also very close to the cycle path so very handy!

Beautiful fresh crunchy filled rolls, nice clean pint. Room inside plenty of space outside.

Good atmosphere, nice outdoor area. Very cramped with a band on and difficult to get served. Only 1 ladies toilet which isn't enough.

Great pub, owners always doing their best to make you feel welcome, friendly professional bar staff, and always putting on weekend entertainment. Would recommend.

Awesome pub, great atmosphere, lovely garden that's always busy with some really friendly people. Karaoke nights, curry nights etc - it's a real people's pub!

Good variety of beer and a friendly atmosphere

Stopped off here whilst on a Sunday bike ride and the sun was blazing so we sat out in the garden with all the locals. Music speakers were set up and it got quite loud but we were quite happy. It’s the same old thing - an old Bristol boozer where the locals make you feel right at home. It’s one of the reasons I moved to Bristol from up north 30 years ago!

Average local pub! The pub was quite understaffed despite 2 private parties so quite a wait. They were friendly though!

Called in for food after long walk. Unfortunately not available but the friendly help and advice given by the landlord was good enough to make it worth staying for a pint before going for lunch .

I'm new to area visited pub with my son lastsaturday 3rd July 2021 and was made so welcome especially by the landlady she was so efficient and the public were very welcoming. A proper pub will be back to sample food thank you. Very much.

Salt of the earth local pub. Will show sport as long as it doesn't clash with the local old boys watching the horses. Landlady doesn't like it if you have water alongside your pint.

Went for breakfast,other half had the mega one,he couldn't eat it all,so lost out on a free pint. Food was very nice, lovely friendly service 😊😊

Along the cycle path, does food but I didn't have any so can't comment, good beer selection, has a garden which looks summer ready, friendly staff, open fireplace, darts boards but no pool table.

Has definitely seen better days, this pub really could do with a lick of paint and an overhaul. It's a shame as it is so close to the cyclepath. So if it advertised that it was literally 100 metres away, it could probably take quite a good share of hungry cyclists who would be after good cakes and coffee. Hopefully they will try and advertise more to passing cyclists. There is a huge opportunity there.

Several darts teams. Rough and ready pub. Friendly landlord and lady. Good atmosphere. Does nice cheese and onion or ham rolls. Also coffee (but not fancy coffee. Has various things going on in the week.

Midland Spinner is a warm and friendly pub both staff and customers are so friendly and non judge mental it's a real joy. Also the karaoke is terrific so kind, friendly and funny. I would highly recommend this great pub for any occasion.

This pub is our darts 🎯 home and we like it very much. Friendly people and our landlord is a great chap who played darts 🎯 with us.

Nice and cozy pub / restaurant between Chippenham and Bristol. We stopped here over breakfast and our experience was very promising. We had English breakfast and it was tasty and plateful. The restaurant, dining area and washrooms are clean but still room for improvements. The price is very reasonable and food is nice. I would recommend this place for full English breakfast. Thanks.

A fairly new menu and very reasonabley priced the portion size is good value good pub grub from breakfast to bar food. The beer is a good selection aswell and priced reasonable. Nice beer garden on the side also all in all worth a visit .

Visitamos 1 / 7 / 17, guau muy buena relación calidad-precio, comida estupenda, de hecho tuve el med desayuno y té o café incluido en el precio de 5 libras, era un poco grande, para mí y me costó a comer todo,. El servicio era excelente, entramos en el 10. 30 ordenados y se sentó enseguida, recibimos nuestra comida en menos de 15 minutos, el personal era muy amable y servicial, sin duda volveremos, bien merece una visita :).

Open until midnight unless you are not from Warmley. Used to be a great pub on a Friday night. Now it seems they wold prefer people to go elsewhere. Maybe another change in management is needed to bring it back to being a pub that sticks to its opening and closing times. And went back today and was politely told to f**k off

Came for some food with my family and it says they are open from 12 and was disappointed to find it was closed till 4 and the guy was not very friendly about it either. He let us get our baby out of the car before telling us having watched us do this.

Llegamos en los perros como parte de nuestro paseo, ya que sabíamos que era un pub con el perro. Lo que no sabíamos es que ahora hacer asados. Y resulta que hacen ellos muy bien! Perfectamente razonable de £9.95 , la carne era de una gran calidad y perfectamente preparado. Todas las verduras era fresco, como el queso de la coliflor. También una agradable sorpresa al encontrar repollo cocinadas con tocino escondidos bajo la carne. Uno de los mejores asados que he tenido. Sin duda volveré y difundir la palabra : -)
