Lovely little cafe, just off the seafront. Staff were really nice. Food and coffee were excellent, and all reasonably priced.

The reviews on here are honest and true. The food at the cafe was excellent and the staff were very friendly.

Popped in for a light lunch had a coffee and some delicious quiche sat outside in the sun as had our dog with us, food was 1st class and so was the service cracking little place.

Light lunch after a decent walk. The cranberry, brie and bacon panini was first class and served by two charming members of staff. Well worth a stop after our walk.

Have been to Severn Beach for a lovely walk on many occasions but never sampled the offerings at this lovely cafe. There was a very warm welcome (I was a little wary as I had read a review from another customer who'd had a bad experience with customer service and said the blonde haired lady was lovely but not the other member of staff). I can honestly say it was a perfect visit. We ordered two teas which I was pleasantly surprised to see were loose leaf, not bags, a bacon roll which was a really good size with vey well cooked bacon, a bacon and brie panini with cranberry which was jam packed full and extremely tasty with a little side salad and excellent dressing and finally a tuna mayo baguette which was also very well filled. Even though I was filled to the brim, I couldn't resist the Bakewell tart which was served warm with ice cream. It was a little too sweet for my liking but nothing wrong with it at all. All in all a very enjoyable little break.

An exceptional cafe with good produce. Loose leaf tea, not bags, tasty bacon roll with well cooked bacon. Tuna mayo baguette with plenty of filling and the best bacon, brie and cranberry Panini I've ever had. Very warm welcome. Highly recommended

My wife and I visited this tea/lunch spot a week ago of so. I had coffee and the brie and cranberry panini. Yum! I was expecting it to be packed out....it was fully seated inside, but with plenty of options to sit outside. Which surprised me a bit since it was a really nice day. Is it considered difficult to get to or something?

Lovely little cafe staffed by delightful friendly and efficient young women. Tea and millionaire's shortbread was excellent - the menu looked great so we plan to return. Very handy for the railway station after a nice ride on the little train from Bristol!

What a lovely little spot right on the sea front. A Christian cafe, I was pleasantly surprised to see a warm message from the owners on a small laminate on every table. My parents and I enjoyed reading books about local history while enjoying our tasty coffees and tea. There were some delicious cakes and biscuits on offer also. If the sun is shining the place gets lovely and warm, which must be great in the colder months. Well worth a stop if you're out walking there one day.

The quiche, the fruit scone and coffee were all exceptional. The pastry was delicious as was the filling. Home made and delicious. I would travel here from North Bristol regularly now that I’ve discovered this gem of a place. Forget the café in John Lewis- can’t match the Tea Cottage. Brilliant

Fantastic little beach cafe just behind the beach front. Great selection of baguettes, paninis, cakes and ice creams. We had the coronation chicken baguette which was delicious. My carrot cake muffin was also spot on. Lovely coffee too. Indoor and outdoor seating. Will definitely return. Great for a stop on a bike ride

This is now closed for foreseeable future. Was told by one of the staff at the bakery that the owner is expecting a baby very shortly so has had to close. You can get hot drinks and lots of savoury and sweet snacks at bakery down the road.

OK is all, the lady owner ( we think she was) was lovely, not so much her assistant though, miserable, stares at you when you ask for anything, and does not listen, we ate in, which was nice, but then we asked for two coffess and two scones to take away, we got two coffees and one scone to eat in, so we did eat in again, we did not bother trying to explain to her as she looks permanently angry, and we don't think she really wanted to be there. If you do visit, be sure to be served by the blonde lady. Other than the assistant, this is a nice little place to visit.

Lovely food, we go a lot for a coffee, you can sit in or outside and can walk along with the view of the bridges afterwards. Food always consistent and delicious, it really doesn't vary. Coffees always excellent. Closed Sundays. Highly recommend.

I visited the Tea Cottage twice last week with friends who love Severn Beach. The Kid's Lunch boxes were excellent value for money, my gluten - free diet was well catered for with a very tasty toasted sandwich. Everything was made to order and four of us enjoyed a light lunch with drinks for under £20.

Nice clean little cafe right on the sea front. Good place to stop after a walk along to the bridge and beyond. Not a fan of loose leaf tea but it was ok. I would recommend popping in.

This is a great place for a coffee and a snack especially if you are walking along the front. Service is good and the food home made. My only little gripe would be that I wish it was open a bit earlier than 10.30am.

A little gem ! Very clean ! And relaxing

Ordered afternoon drinks together with a cheese and ham panini, as I enjoyed one a while ago and which was delicious - cheesy and meaty - but not this time. Cheese quantity was very poor and, as regards the ham, I had to open it up to check if there was actually any in there. It looked as if they either had run out or had thought a one thin layer of ham would 'do' - which you actually couldn't see from the edges of the panini - very poor for £4.50! May have just been down to the staff that were on, but the owners need ensure all staff need to know how to make a half-decent panini!

Small wood structure cafe with indoor and outdoor terrace. Drinks, snacks and light lunches available. E.G. Great pannines and and baguettes. Right by the Bristol Channel with a river's edge walkway if you fancy a walk before or after. Well away from commercialised Avonmouth too.

Lovely day for a train trip to Severn Beach and lunch at Just as You Are tea shop. Excellent service. Excellent food. Child friendly. Obviously very popular as fairly busy but still very pleasant. Will definitely be going back.

Perfect hot chocolates for a promenade along the beach.

Difficult to give any really opinion during these pandemic times but the hot chocolate and chocolate brownies went down well after a walk along the path looking over the Bristol channel

Looks very inviting! Couldn’t sit inside for a cuppa due to COVID restrictions but bought chocolate brownies to take away - absolutely delicious! Also purchased one of their Christmas hampers - really attractive and very good value. Cannot comment on the contents as it is a gift but am sure it will all be delicious. Cannot wait for the restrictions to lift so I can go for afternoon tea!

Really nice New tea/coffee rooms on the Severn Beach sea walls. Well located for walkers and cyclists.but sadly are not dog friendly. Respectfully suggest they are excluding substantial dog walker business potential. Let's hope they will listen.

Popped in as was in the area with a few hours to kill. Sat and did my work and had a few cups of lovely coffee and an early lunch of the amazing goats cheese and caramelised red onion quiche. Lots of lovely desserts and a great ice cream selection available as well. If you're in the area I'd recommend stopping by

I was lucky enough to be there first ever customer & I simply love this place, Miriam & her staff are so friendly, they always have a smile for you. Cant wait for it to reopen again, once the lockdown ends & Covid19 has been beaten.

Really lovely cafe alongside the estuary wall at Severn Beach. Caters for dairy free. Serves light lunches. Highly recommended.

This cafe is right by the Severn Path and there was parking nearby. Though it's only a small cafe, there was no "welcome" which was disappointing and the service wasn't very special. We had coffee and hot chocolate, which was fine, but compared to the many other coffee shops there are these days, this one was pretty average.

Absolutely love this place, great food and great staff.

Loved it....great value for money and so pleased that there was a choice of GF options...and bread! We loved listening to our favourite worship songs too.

My friends and I decided to take a train ride to Severn Beach from Clifton Down. We had to decide whether to stay for 2 hours or to take the train back. Fortunately, we decided to stay, because 'Just as You are Tea Cottage' is excellent. It's a lovely, new, cosy building, the staff are delightful and the food excellent. We had soup with cheese scones - delicious. you can go there for breakfast, lunch or tea/coffee and cake. Actually, the cakes look lovely, but we were full. We'll be back.

Really great cafe with excellent coffee and a really nice atmosphere with photographs of the local area around the walls. I'd give it six stars if it was open on Sundays - I understand the proprietors choose not to open on religious grounds but perhaps a young weekend helper could be found?

A warm and friendly welcome, ideally situated along the sea front. You can take the dog for a walk and stop off for a cuppa or bite to eat. Always a bowl of water available for your pet.

We stopped off here after a mid-afternoon walk along the seafront in the cold and wind. It was bright, cosy and welcoming and well worth the short wait to get a table. The staff were very friendly and there was a good selection of sweet...

There's not much open in Severn Beach these days, so this friendly café was much appreciated. Good assortment of drinks and snacks, adults, children and dogs are well catered for.

During my meeting I enjoyed a Lovely quiche and coffee. Nice small cottage were we enjoyed our lunch. Service was excellent. I would recommend this for sure!

Delightful little place. Lovely girls all of them who work there. Nothing is too much trouble. Dogs not allowed inside but catered for outside. Easy access for the disabled. Not very big so can be a bit of a squeeze at busy times and right...

A great position on the waterfront. We had lunch of goats cheese and red onion quiche and a jacket potato with brie, bacon and cranberry sauce. All well presented and tasty at a reasonable price. Everything was clean, tidy and comfortable. The service was friendly...

We stopped here for lunch and were delighted with all that was on offer. I had a takeaway quiche, my husband ate in with our grandson who enjoyed a toastie. All beautifully served by very friendly staff. Definitely a place to revisit.
