Lucky Chopsticks in Vale of White Horse

This is no worse than many Chinese takeaways. The food filled an empty stomach but was no pleasure to eat. There was no evidence of pride or passion in their product. Both main dishes were far too watery and lacked flavour. The 'Thai' green curry bore no resemblance to a genuine Thai curry. I doubt that Chinese people would recognize this food as being from their home country. We were not made to feel welcome when collecting the meal. In summary there is absolutely nothing to recommend this place unless it happens to be the nearest to you.

We are frequent flyers as these guys are consistently good. That said we had a really lovely takeaway this evening. Everything was cooked beautifully. We had king prawns and broccoli (veg was lovely and fresh, prawns tender), crispy chill beef which was nice and crispy with good sauce and veg. Egg fried rice was lovely too and not at all greasy. Kids loved the crispy duck so much so we hardly got a look in!

If you are happy to put up with boring, tasteless, low-level Chinese food that is far from what Chinese food can be, then go for it. I feel let down over and over again, and I've had it now. I'm going somewhere else. I love Chinese food - the real Chinese food. But this is just cheap rubbish. And on top of it, last night I suffered really badly from what felt like food poisoning. I don't know, really, but I did feel extremely close to calling 111. My belly still feels sore now, although I released most of the food this early morning. Step up or you'll go down. And that would be sad, wouldn't it. We like to support local businesses, but your food is just incredibly poor quality and taste. Oh, and do get a flipping card reader!

Excellent food, excellent service. Phoned order through, was ready well within time suggested. Have used this takeaway numerous times. Food is always good and hot.

We ordered chicken balls, crispy beef, seaweed and chicken Chinese noodles. Food was so delicious and the staff so polite. Quick service and definitely recommend.

Needs to have zero rating. Decided to support local business in difficult times. Ordered mid afternoon on 31/12/20 on the Just Eat App for 1945hrs deliver. At 2005hrs message received saying order late, will be with you 2045hrs. at 2050hrs message received order cancelled by the "restaurant". What a complete waste of time ordering from them. On calling them, said they were busy and sorry. Shambles, never ever order food from these muppets.

One of the better takeaways in the area although the meals can be a bit hit and miss and the delivery service can be a bit unreliable, from 10-15 minutes to well over hour. But as a rule the food it good, perhaps there is a change of chef at times when the standards drop a bit which can prove a bit annoying.

After all the excellent feedback this place gets I decided to give them a go instead of my usual takeaway. They turned up right on time with a delivery driver who was quite simply the nicest guy you could wish to meet. The food was incredible, I went for the Honey & Chilli chicken wings which are out of this world! Great experience, will definitely use again.

Huge range of choice, food excellent and extremely efficient. The staff are also very friendly. Would recommend.

What a waste of time. Made an order via the website on a Saturday night, the delivery time was stated as 8:15pm. After waiting a long time after the stated delivery time I tried ringing the shop several times with no answer. It seems the place is closed yet they are still allowing orders to go through on there website. Luckily it was cash payment I chose. Will definitely not use this takeaway ever again.

It seems that the place is closed, but the website is still running. You place you order and confirm time for delivery - but nothing happens. Its a good job we went for cash on delivery.

Have been disappointed recently collecting containers of noodles that have only been part-filled. Other restaurants fill their containers to the top. Phoned ahead to check they would sort out the problem and they promised to do so. No such luck on collection. Portion sizes are still shrinking! Food is ok but very poor value. Suggest you look elsewhere - unless you're counting calories!

Now and then we have a Chinese/Thai take-away, and we're happy to have this nearby. It's not outstanding, but it's good enough, and we'll be back. Loved the Thai dish; my hubby wasn't too impressed with the Special Curry, but good enough.

We ordered take away from lucky chopsticks last Saturday. Chicken balls, chilli garlic chicken and duck tasted so delicious. Nice staff and we will come back again!

Standard Chinese restaurant. It was quick and we didn't get sick, so that's something. Good was average; not terrible, but not all that impressive.

The name has changed but the premises are still the same grubby tired looking shop front to collect food. Staff look so fed up.too.
