Good selection and large portions, perhaps too large if you're someone who likes to have a selection of meals without being in a large group to share

Really good and efficient service, a variety of Chinese dishes and some good set meals. Hot 🔥 and Spicy if you want it. Served quickly and piping Hot.

The food is good though it is expensive compared to other Chinese takeaways nearby. If you phone ahead to order it is always ready when you arrive however they only take cash which is a downside.

Awful service, waited 45 minutes. Wrong order when we got home and over charged. Never again. Seven stars deliver for £6 in Shrivenham are a different class.

Only one out of six dishes bought was any good. Will avoid.

Nice Chinese when you fancy at a reasonable price and waiting time. Does what it says on the tin.

We ordered Duck chow mien egg fried , sweet and sour pork hong kong style and crispy chilli beef. We got no egg fried rice, yesterdays chips everything else covered in brown goo!! Very unpleasant will never go back, that muck cost us £25!!!!!!

Quite pricey for takeaway, but it’s excellent food and the portions are decent so pretty fair overall!

We asked around before deciding to buy a meal there. Everyone had positive things to say so we turned up at 4:30, just open, and ordered 3 main courses, rice and crackers. One other person waiting and food was delivered quickly. About 14 minutes. Hot and drive home revealed packed well. Delicious. Wasn't keen on the King Prawn in a sour sauce, they didn't seem crispy enough but everything else was excellent. We will return.

Really impressed with every single meal we had- spring roll, beef in black bean sauce, beef with mushrooms, nasi goreng rice, sweet and sour chicken balls, bbq sauce, crispy duck pancakes and Singapore noodles. Loads of hoi sin sauce and cucumber/spring roll with the duck which is fantastic (and very unusual!) The Singapore noodles may be the best I’ve had! Really good quality meat in all the dishes. The vegetarians of the group really enjoyed their meals too. I have to admit I loved the garlic broccoli they ordered! I’ve been let down many times with Chinese takeaways so I never expect anything amazing, but honestly couldn’t fault this at all.

I've eaten here several times and the quality is always outstanding. The menu covers everything you could possibly want to eat from a Chinese Takeout, and does it at a great price. My personal favourites from the menu are the Crispy Beef in Peking Sauce, and the Lemon Chicken. I placed my order by phone and by the time I had arrived, it was ready to be collected. Wait times are always very short and food is always served hot. I definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants a good quality Chinese Takeout in the Shrivenham area. It is cash-only, but there is an ATM in the One Stop across the road.

Everything we try is just so good. We're yet to pick a favourite dish.

What a pleasure it is to say that the two takeaways that we have had this week from the Treasure in Swindon have offered some of the freshest and best Chinese food we've eaten in years. Congratulations to the chefs. The only thing that could be made better would be a cashless payment system. Otherwise, excellent.

Easily the best Chinese takeaway in Swindon

Honestly, I have no words to describe the awful food this place serves. We hoped with new management the quality of food might increase- as so did the price but no. My mother had Special Chop Suey.. literally zero sauce looked extremely bland. I ordered Roast Duck in Plum sauce plus Beef in Satay Sauce.. the duck came with little to no sauce and coleslaw was essentially dumped on it. The Beef came with few half cooked onions and the sauce was water basically which is the first time I’ve seen Satay Sauce served, when asked why is it watery their response was “that’s how we do it.” Side of chips also purchased.. clearly reheated tasted like cardboard. If you value your money please AVOID this establishment it’s criminal how they can charge the price they do and serve absolute garbage. Seven Stars in Swindon, meal deal of 3 dishes and rice for 19 bucks YOU CANT GO WRONG.

Went to the restaurant last night to get a relatively straightforward egg fried rice and sweet and sour chicken balls and probably the worst I’ve ever had. The bits of chicken were tiny in comparison to the place I normally go to with the batter excessively thick to the point of being sickening. To top it off, have to pay cash only. This is 2022 not 1987 So can only assume it’s for VAT or tax dodging purposes given (as a business owner myself) the cost of credit or debit card transactions is so much lower than before. Would not recommend at all and wish I went to MZcDonalds instead

We bought the munch box as I I have had it a few years ago and I remember it being really good. However this time it was very dry and the meat seemed really dehydrated. Shame as we have had from here before and it’s not been to bad.

First and only visit here in January’21. Food quality average, portion size mediocre, poor/rude CS, cash only despite pandemic and no local ATM, overall poor VFM. Now I take my trade to Abbey Meads Rendezvous instead.

Quick, fast, easy, tasty Chinese food. Lots of meal options to include curries. No online menu, but after first visit, they have great menus to take home.

Me and my partner used to come here all the time for our takeaways! But a couple weeks back, I unfortunately had food poisoning from them, I didn’t eat for that whole day before Chinese, then didn’t eat nothing again the next day as I had it sooo bad! I was so gutted, but please treasure if you read this make sure your food standards are in top quality, I could of done something worse than write a review, but the next person could do something if they got food poisoning.. unfortunately won’t be returning

The food here is great, but I'm giving 4 stars because in this day and age to only take cash is ridiculous and irresponsible. It's clear they are absolutely raking it in... hmmm I wonder what possible reason there would be for cash only?...

We visited this take away in 2019. The food was not very tasty. So we stayed away. When we recently tried again, later in 2020, we were pleasantly surprised. The portions were good, the flavours delicious and the foods tastier than ever before. I don’t know but whatever has happened is for the good. Well done and we love your food. And Thankyou. We are so happy to have you as our wonderful take away restaurant xx

Excellent food and quick service

Food is good, service is awful. Walk in is better but be prepared to wait 1/2 hr. If you phone you will be told it will be an hour and then you still have to wait 30 mins when you arrive. This has now happened more than once. Will be going elsewhere!

First time user of this takeaway and have to say that we were very impressed with food. Had Crispy Chilli Beef and it was one of the best I’ve had. My wife had Salt & Pepper (Apparently also called Salt and Chilli) Chicken and that was amazing too. Service was quick and price was reasonable. All in all a good find 😀

Haven’t been there for a while but my son wanted Chinese takeaway for his birthday so I walked up to Treasure. It was the best Chinese food I’ve had in memory. Better than some restaurants I’ve been in. Large portions too. I’m a stickler for greasy takeaways. I don’t like them and the feeling it leaves but if it wasn’t for my stomach saying no more please I would have eaten everything in front of me. Next day leftovers were awesome too. I’m not a food critic but you will not be disappointed with a Treasure takeaway. First time I’ve had prawn crackers that tasted of prawns and weren’t greasy. Cooked on time that they stated. Will definitely eat again soon. CASH ONLY.

Absolutely love Treasure! The food is always really good, great value for money and fast service. Only downside is that it’s cash only which can be a little inconvenient but not enough to put us off.

Amazing food. Best crispy beef I've ever had. Nice warm waiting area. Only waited 10 mins for food. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

We dropped into the takeaway after a very long time of not using it to find it in good order and the food that we ordered was really quite excellent. The portion was so big we only needed one between the two of us. Just remember to take cash only with you. Worth giving it a go.

Super fast and not bad. We orderd Thai green chicken curry and chicken and cashew. These were practically same dish except for different sauce and cashews. Same ingredients. Cash only which I thought was odd in this day and age as I hardly ever carry cash anymore.

We’ve just moved to the area so trying out takeaways. The reviews looked good so gave it a try. Sadly the egg fried rice seemed to have no egg and was very dry. Satay skewers were disgusting. Lemon chicken didn’t taste of lemon at all and found a fly in the bean sprouts. Sad as it would have been such a convenient takeaway for us.

I have used this service a few times now the food is great and priced about right they are very quick service and the orders are always right and food is lovely I have had no issues with the service or food.

I have used this takeaway service on a couple of occasions now and it is an excellent takeaway Chinese Restaurant. They are incredibly fast and accurate with the orders and the portions are as expected.

Lots of food, delicious and good variety. Had two kinds of noodles, lemon chicken and my favourite Peking duck with pancakes, sweet sauce & julienned greens. We worried we'd ordered too little, but there was heaps left over for another day!

We’re new to the village so we’re slowly working our way around the restaurants and takeaways and thought we’d try Treasure out. The food was excellent we didn’t have to wait long at all. The only criticism I have is it’s ‘cash only’, which, in this day and age is a bit mad. Otherwise, excellent take away - thanks, Treasure!

In Faringdon near Oxford are 2 Chinese takeaways. Both are poor. Tried the one in Shrivenham as fancied a meal and wasn't disappointed. Good size portions and lovely crispy chicken balls with a tasty sauce. Not very adventurous in my choice but I eat what I like. Ready when I expected it and a pleasant chap in the shop. Shall use again.

My parents live in the area and the last couple of visits we've got a takeaway from treasure, and I have to say it is gorgeous!!! Also, to the run up to Christmas they're open on sundays!! (which makes total sense to me) so get in there!! top marks.

We have eaten here twice in a week, the food is very good. I would rate this as better than the average Chinese. They do not do fish and chips anymore, just chips and cash only.

A change of ownership has revised the menu, some old favourites aren't quite as good, that being said some new additions have the ability to replace them.
