The best restaurants serving British food in Wales

Just had the best lamb and mint pie! Very tasty, piping hot and melt in the mouth meat and pastry. Served with fresh vegetables and new potatoes. Can't beat it!

Called in this morning for breakfast after seeing the sign on the main road Well it’s the best breakfast I have had in a long time busting with flavour Very clean and well presented keep up the good work

My friend was full up from his plate and I had his left overs which was just a bit of mac and cheese and when we were leaving a staff member called sally marched towards us and was insisting that I had a carvery with meat. After a very confusing conversation she then had the audacity to charge me £8.50 for mac and cheese. Outrageous!

We visited for a special Birthday meal and we were not disappointed. The meal was absolutely delicious and the service was exceptional. Will definitely be back.

Found this pub on second night in Tenby and so glad we did. Lovely welcome and service was good. Food was fantastic with generous portions and although place wasn't full there was still a good atmosphere. Will definitely pay a visit next time we visit Tenby

Amazing service and meal. I had the chicken tikka masala ½ chips½rice with a naan bread and mango chutney It was out of this world and probably one of the best things I've ever tasted I recommend coming here for an amazing meal and plus the staff are friendly

Lovely pub. Very friendly barman, comfy seating. Just one gripe, £3.50 for a small glass of nuts?!?! Otherwise a very pleasant place.

Usually a beautiful meal here. Last night we ordered a turkey dinner and steak and my husband had squid as a starter. The two mains came, and my husband reminded them he'd ordered a starter. By this time we'd waited 40 mins. I said I was happy to keep my meal since I didn't want it sat under a hot lamp somewhere, waitress assured us we'd have fresh meals. When my turkey dinner came the meat was lukewarm and dry on edges and the cranberry sauce had a skin on it as if it had sat under a hot lamp. Very disappointed. Won't be coming back.

The food as ever was excellent, the very friendly staff were attentive and helpful. My wife and I had the Friday deal, BOGOF burgers and both came away fully satisfied. A very pleasant experience.

Been a lot recently . I’m amazed how much the prices have creeped up vs the portion size have reduced . Once it was a solid go to ! Now it’s a luxury when I’m rich but always then disappointed sadly , mostly service is good . I say mostly as was ignored this week by lady with short hair seating people

After a small confusion with the app , I managed to have my meal . The manager was very apologetic of the situation and was resolved professionally and quickly. I will be definitely going back there. 12/12/23: Food was good but one member of staff needs a chat about her attitude towards people, when she gets to the table with the food she shouts the order example: HAM EGG, BEEF BURGER, she didn’t say thank you when we said thank you. Honestly I would avoid coming here if you get annoyed with people who are rude. I was served by the same waitress the other day (16/11/24) and she seems more friendly so personally I would stay away

Canteen style restaurant where you queue to order and collect your food. Some dishes are precooked but kept hot. We had the steak and kidney pie with fries and peas. Very affordable. Huge seatings.
