Good and tasty food and friendly staff good prices

Been a lot recently . I’m amazed how much the prices have creeped up vs the portion size have reduced . Once it was a solid go to ! Now it’s a luxury when I’m rich but always then disappointed sadly , mostly service is good . I say mostly as was ignored this week by lady with short hair seating people

My partner ordered the bbq chicken stack, which came raw! Waitress was lovely, took it back to the kitchen, brought him a new one and took it off our bill. I ordered a mixed grill with a medium rare steak, the steak came medium - well done was unable to eat it. Really disappointed as this is always my go to pub grub, will not be attending again!

Not enough people for the amount of customers so delay in ordering; staff not properly trained on drinks menu; salad bar was poorly stocked; Food passable, but had better previously at this restaurant.

Had a really good meal. Food was tasty and well cooked. Both my parents had steak and well both very happy with perfectly cooked medium rare. Would definitely go again.

When we visit the Harvester which is quite often we know that the food is always excellent and the service we receive is always FIRST CLASS our server on this day was Liv who was very helpful and pleasant what a wonderful afternoon we had.

Waitress Katie P is fantastic, an absolute gem.

The food is always superb been there many times staff are really polite and friendly. The building it self could do with spending some money on the outside .but as for service exellent

Food was ok. Not the best I've had, but also certainly not the worst either. My only complaints are that the all you can eat salad bar was practically empty so was more like a don't eat anything barm and that we had to wait almost 1.5hours from the time we arrived till the food finally turned up. Was extremely slow. Staff polite and friendly though.

Busy Sunday lunch, but had room in bar area. Food and service are excellent. Only criticism is that the salad bar wasn't kept refreshed.

When my partner said that she wanted a meal for one they said she needed to sit at the bar and there were tables empty. l was outside due to a flat tyre. When the food arrived it arrived with no cutterly or napkins. When she went to get it herself, the manager was on the phone, which sounded like a private conversation. I won't be going there again

Ordered on line for a delivery. They took £50, Deliveroo rang to say there’s been a mistake & I’ll get my money back in a few days. No answer from the restaurant. Simply not acceptable.

Scruffy outside, needs repairs and litter picked up. Doesn't look inviting. Food was nice but had to wait an hour.

The food was really good. However our waitress made our night. She made my daughter's night, was fun, interactive and chatty. It was my birthday meal and it was outstanding

Attended here for my birthday as a family of 4 with 2 kids under 6 and it was quite busy. Our server was Nicol and she was very friendly, lovely with the kids and very diligent when noticing an item hadn’t arrived with the majority of food. I think it stands out when you don’t have to say anything and you can tell your server has clocked the problem before you have to complain. She was excellent!

Went on a spur of the moment with my partner as we couldn't be bothered cooking at home. Food was great, service was spot on, prices were very reasonable. Will probably return the next time we can't be bothered to cook lol.

We visited the Llandarcy Harvester, our server Katie P was friendly polite and interacted great with our 2 girls. While waiting for a table the gentleman gave the children activity packs to keep them occupied. Great service and we will definitely be back.

Come here quite a few times however today was served by Emily on the bar. She was super friendly and warming.

Went here apart from not to busy tables needed to be cleaned at we went at 3pm. Disabled toilets weren't the best the floors walls lower just grimmy upstairs are main toilets. Makes you wonder if these toilets are check during the day. We ask for plates for our sharing platter I had to go and ask and get them myself The food was warm not hot as other harvest places have better food and cleaner. 4 staff just standing talking . But the house of front man was absolutely lovely running around . Staff need to be more happier and friendly . Had to wait longer for food as I said not busy. The place looks tired and I won't be going back to this harvester again.

Food has gone much better since u been there few years ago. The staff are amazing. Paula was really lovely seving me and my husband. She is very friendly and welcoming. Great food and great prices. Definitely be back again soon.

Not visited a Harvester for a while as their service gad gone downhill so was pleasantly surprised after my visit. Aside from a dish which arrived with ratatouille despite my requesting the meal without it and mushrooms that were chargrilled to the point of being inedible, the food was very good, the customer service was excellent and the salad bar was well stocked. Despite being very busy we did not have to wait long for our food.

Eggs not cooked food was ok nothing special

Walked in without a booking and asked was there any space for a family of 4. The woman was extremely rude and just replied no and rolled her eyes and continued to pay more attention to the laptop Will never return

Asked not to be sat too close to any kids (it was a boiling hot day n you just know they're going to be grumpy, miserable and whining) Don't come at me - This is my opinion. Lo and behold we were sat the opposite side of a glass partition to a screamer!! Thankfully, they were packing up to go or I would have moved

Food is excellent and the staff are outstanding, always accommodating and pleasant.

Just had an amazing meal. Amy the supervisor was so helpful and polite from taking or reservation the day before to greeting us and getting us seated quickly. Lydia our server was outstanding from ordering to delivering our food, always smiling and really pleasant. Would highly recommend and hope you get the same great service as I did

Good food, well worth a visit, staff were very friendly and helpful and the service was very good.

We were a party of 6 women (can be up to 9 if us) who have lunch out once a month. We all enjoyed our meals, except one lady's steak wasn't cooked rare as requested (it was more medium than rare). She was suitably compensated for the error. The waitress was absolutely fabulous and extremely helpful.

Good food, kids love the salad bar and refill drinks. Great place for a family feed-up. The prices are ok and better if you have a discount voucher, we had the kids for a £1 deal. The staff were lovely and really helpful.

Main came out before the starter. Then the mains were cold they had just been left until we had the starter. The menu is very limited. The toilets are disgusting, the appearance of the building is run down and despite all that the prices have gone up. The staff are on their phones, the seating was ripped and even the hanging baskets have dead flowers. Not going back.

Had the most wonderful breakfast ever served by the best waitress ever chantelle it was delicious,the manager Steve is a super hero without a cape and helped us out with a situation we was in and are forever grateful,will definately be going back for more than just breakfast sooooon 10/10 ××

Went for late lunch with a friend. Plenty of parking spaces available. Disabled parking there too. Very warm welcome from staff. Excellent service thought our lunch in fact. Plenty of salad at salad bar. Our food was quickly served by an attentive member of staff. Food was hot, well presented and of a good standard. Price was fair. Definitely worth a visit and I'll definitely be returning.

I was served today by the delightful manager Donna and Sam C they took care of all my wishes! I couldn't of asked for better service I was totally amazed by the experience! I will be back very soon! Thanks girls! Xx

I always feel disappointed when we visit Harvester on the weekend. The salad bar was messy and under stocked. The crispy onion and bacon flavoured bits were really stale, a bit of a let down once I had piled them all onto my salad. Our family spent almost £200 there so it’s a bit of a shame as we were celebrating a family birthday too. Staff were amazing, as always

Team of 18 last night then 4 tonight and staff could not do enough. All were genuinely welcoming and bent over backwards to make a bunch of grumpy old bikers happy. Food was spot and the craic good. Such a refreshing experience that we don’t normally get a chain restaurants. Well done!

Joined up for Lunch with an old friend . For was good , the Peas reminded me of the tinned ones i used to have as a kid ( not nice at all ) but everything else was good. No long wait , Salad bar lovely ( My Fav) Waitress Excellent . Good Experience . Give Credit where it's due.

First time visiting this restaurant,the food was has always great the staff friendly and helpful,nice outside seating area after food to have a coffee and sit in the sun (with it being Wales not always possible) really enjoy food with family.

Amazing place it was spotlessly clean and the waitresses could not do enough for you even someone as picky as me. We had chicken as I had a voucher which made it even more of a bargain. The salad bar was all fresh and plenty of choices. Altogether an amazing visit. Well done to you all for the superb service and standard of cleanliness. The only negative would be that the outside could do with a bit of TLC even just a lick of paint would enhance the first impressions of the restaurant

Needed a quick meal so we drove to this Harvester. Lovely staff and a definite improvement from our last visits to Pencoed and Bridgend. Well cooked food and plenty of it! Salad bar was tidy and topped up regularly. One thing that did disappoint is that the halloumi skewer now has standard red peppers instead of the Padrons which I love. It’s on the menu as Padrons so if this has changed then so should the menu…I would probably pick the veggie burger instead. Second time this has happened…

Starter was way above average in taste,absolutely delicious,pity our main course turned up halfway through starter. Never mind,we'll put the main to the side while we finish starter. Steak was rare as apposed to medium,but again I'll overlook as I'm hungry and don't want to send it back to be put back on the grill and have it come back napalmed. Service was second ro none however which made up for the mediocre main course.

We walked in and were greeted in a friendly manner, we barely had enough time to get a drink from the bar before our table was made ready (we were a little early!) and, as I had booked online, all my requests were met. We both had a starter and main (see pics) I have a gluten allergy and was recommended to try the Glass Onion App but that staff would be more than happy to double check anything if I asked. Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious! My husband had the Rocky Horror dessert and said it was also delicious! Service was quick and any queries we had were met with helpful responses. Cerys, our server, was lovely and added that extra touch of sparkle to our experience. We had a lovely 20th wedding anniversary meal here and will definitely be returning next time we are visiting our daughter!
